Taiwan: Kaohsiung Audience Members Express Deep Appreciation for Shen Yun, "Magnificent and Splendid!"

Shen Yun Performing Arts New York Company graced the stage at the Bureau of Cultural Affairs Kaohsiung City Government, Taiwan. Distinguished audience members from the political and business sector of southern Taiwan attended and had high praise for the beauty of classical Chinese culture.

Pingtung County Legislator Chin-Shih Wang came from Pingtung County to Kaohsiung to see Shen Yun's performance. Mr. Wang was deeply touched and said, "Shen Yun's performance is indeed splendid and magnificent. It shakes people's hearts."

"I was really very moved. The artistic performance, including the sound and stage lighting, can indeed be described as brilliant and magnificent. It moves people's hearts. It is very helpful for elevating spirituality. Of course, the traditional Chinese culture can be said to be enlightening, from the ancient to the modern. It shines infinitely." Mr. Wang abundantly praised Shen Yun's programs, that represented the broadness and profundity of true Chinese culture.

As a legislator, Mr. Wang said he greatly appreciated the ability of Shen Yun's performances to promote harmony in society. "I am grateful to the sponsors for inviting such a good show for people here to enjoy. It is really a very good spiritual feast. The show is greatly helpful for purifying people's hearts and improving society."

Mr. Wang was most impressed by the piece, "Nothing Can Block the Divine Path." He was very touched by the piece, in which Falun Gong practitioners persist in their belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, under severe persecution in China, and that good will ultimately prevail.

"Of course, such a good show should be shared with all people." He said that not every place has the opportunity to have shows like Shen Yun. "I think if there are more people coming to see [Shen Yun], it can indeed be an inspiration for our society, and play the role of enhancing our minds as well."

"I hope that Shen Yun can perform in Pingtung next time. I hope that Pingtung folks can have such an opportunity." Mr. Wang appealed to the public in Pingtung, "Don't miss the chance to see such a pure and beautiful show."

Chinese Medicine Association Chairman: A Demonstration of the Language of the Divine

Rong-jie Chen, founder and first and second chairman of the National Union Chinese Medicine Association of R.O.C., and chairman of the Kaohsiung Model Father Association, was deeply touched by the Shen Yun performances and said, "Shen Yun is a mysterious and noble art of the divine!"

Mr. Chen attended the performance with his wife. He said that he was profoundly moved by the opening of the show. "At the opening of the show, when the curtain slowly opened, the magnificent and majestic momentum immediately attracted the attention of the entire audience. The content was 5,000 years of history and culture. The connotation of creating the divine history of China is miraculous. I was very moved," he said.

Mr. Chen talked about how the show inspired him. "I was very moved watching the Shen Yun show. It can be easily understood. I felt it's a mysterious and noble art of the divine. It's like demonstrating the language of the divine world to the people of the human world. It helps us understand the profound meaning of the vastness and mightiness of the divine world, teaches us the knowledge and wisdom of the divine beyond our human world, and awakens people's compassionate hearts. Mr. Chen said that during the performance he felt at one with the performers, feeling that they were sharing what was in their minds. "Every movement and every expression of the dancers is wonderful and fabulous. In the performance, their soul of wisdom reached a very deep and profound level of performance. This isn't seen in other shows. No wonder Shen Yun causes a sensation wherever it tours around the world." Mr. Chen said.
