China’s highest prosecutor was minister of public security in 1999, when China’s government decided to crush Falun Gong, and according to the complaint he was one of the main persons behind the brutal campaign against the movement’s practitioners. From one day to another, the peaceful and apolitical meditation-movement was banned, and millions of its practitioners became hunted victims both inside and outside China.     On Sunday August 28th 2005, renowned Denmark lawyer Tyge Trier filed a lawsuit on behalf of Falun Gong practitioners against Jia Chunwang, procurator general of CCP Supreme People's Procuratorate and one of the central figures in China's Gestapo-like 610 Office -- for crimes contravening the UN Convention Against Torture. Jia Chunwang was sued the same day he arrived in Denmark to partake in an international conference for prosecutors being held in Copenhagen.

    The Procurator General of the Chinese communist regime, head of the 610 Office, Jia Chunwang is being sued in Denmark for committing crimes of torture. The lawsuit brought broad attention from media. Major newspapers, radio stations and television media reported it in a timely manner. Denmark State TV-channel DR also ran a report on this lawsuit.     Spokesperson Marco Hsu from the Danish Falun Gong Association says, that he will file a complaint against Jia Chunwang to the State Prosecutor for Special International Crime-cases. Chunwang has, according to Falun Gong, among other things been a leader of a special office which has lead the Chinese government’s campaign against the movement since 1999. ”Since Jia Chunwang has been minister of public security and one of the leaders of the special office, he has had influence on what all the sub-departments of that office have done of persecution and torture”, says Marco Hsu.
  • Article in Deutsche Presse-Agentur: Jiang Renzheng Imprisoned in a Chinese Labour Camp.

    Jiang Renzheng, twenty nine years old, is being persecuted. On March 7th, Mr. Jiang, his wife and their two children were deported from the Bavarian State Germany to China because they were not granted asylum. Shortly after his arrival in China, the staff from the State Security Bureau accosted him. One month later he was sent to a labour camp. Mr. Jiang is a Falun Gong practitioner, while at present the Falun Gong movement is being persecuted in China.

    'This Monday at nine o’clock, Xiaotian Liu stood watch between two banners in front of Hotel Scandic in Copenhagen, where prosecutors from 80 countries are gathered for three days to discuss witnesses' and victims' judicial position in Criminal case. Among the guest speakers is the Chinese Procurator General Jia Chunwang, whom three Falun Gong practitioners, one of them being Xiaotian Liu, filed a torture complaint against to the police on Sunday. He is guilty of this, because Chunwang, according to Falun Gong, has among other things been leader of a special office which has lead the Chinese Government’s campaign against Falun Gong since 1999.'

    Falun Gong practitioners in Denmark have filed a lawsuit against Mr. Jia Chunwang, one of the central figures in China’s Gestapo – the ”610 Office” – for torture, with the purpose of initiating court proceedings in Denmark against Mr. Jia Chunwang, as Denmark is compelled to according to the UN Convention Against Torture 7(1). As one of the central figures in the ”610-office”, which was specifically established in 1999 to comply with and coordinate the Communist-regime’s demand that Falun Gong practitioners be destroyed both physically and psychologically, Mr. Jia Chunwang bears direct responsibility for the horrible crimes that have been committed during the illegal persecution of Falun Gong.

  • Italian State TV Station Broadcasts a Special Programme on the Persecution of Falun Gong

    On June 13th, Italian State TV Station LA 7 broadcast a special programme regarding the Falun Gong practitioners in China who have been brutally persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party. The programmes title was “China's Shadow” and it lasted around an hour. The producer of this special program, Ms. Flaminia Lubin, decided to produce this film after seeing an anti-torture exhibition held by Falun Gong practitioners in New York. She hoped to let Italians understand the cruel persecution of the Falun Gong practitioners.
  • Houston Chronicle: Falun Gong speak for those in China who 'are not seen'

    Wong, a practitioner of Falun Gong, a spiritual self-improvement belief system, is among 25 people touring Texas this weekend to raise awareness about China's orphaned children whose "tears are not seen and whose cries are not heard." ... "It was very painful," said Wong, who left her daughter in her mother's care while she worked to bring In Sin to the United States. They were reunited last month.
  • Diepholzer District Newspaper (Germany): From internal balance to an open protest

    "This resulted in persecution, torture and even murder of the members. On Saturday evening, German Falun Gong supporters demonstrated against these actions in the Diepholzer downtown area and used truly graphic means. A torture victim with a black eye and his tormentor remained almost motionless at their place in front of the Oldenburg County Bank. Next to them some members of the group meditated."

    A peaceful protest by Falun Gong practitioners took place on Zagreb’s business square. The theme was: “End the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.” During this event, Croatian practitioners of this ancient Eastern cultivation way, which purifies the body and mind, distributed flyers that depicted the brutal torture, which is suffered by like-minded people in China. The Croatian Falun Gong practitioners invited all citizens to join in the group exercises and meditation.

    At the press conference, Supervisor Chris Daly said he, too, had been heavily lobbied by the Chinese government when he sponsored an unsuccessful resolution admonishing the Chinese government for its repression of Falun Gong. "It is difficult to stand solid when you have such pressure against you," Daly said. "Fiona Ma, in my opinion, has been unfairly lobbied against welcoming a significant cultural exhibit."

    "I was taking a walk in New York City. On the corner of Fifth Avenue near Central Station, many Chinese were giving out fliers to passers-by and telling their stories. They seemed very concerned and needed help. The fliers they gave out described the gross human rights abuses currently happening in China. I spoke to them to find out more. These Chinese people then started recounting to me the tragedies that happened. They said the government in Beijing persecuted a spiritual practice called Falun Gong."
