Speech: “History illustrates that there is no power greater than that of Truth.”
2005-06-24"Over the last year the Chinese authorities, with their total control of virtually all media outlets, have instructed that no reference should be made to Falun Gong persecution, in order to give the impression that the practice is no longer seen as a problem and may be a thing of the past. Behind the scenes, however, in the last six months the persecution has intensified with a greater number of verified deaths after torture than ever before: some fifty new provincial centres have been set up for this purpose." -
Prestigious Chinese Writer and Historian Declares his Heartfelt Support for Falun Gong at a London Rally
2005-06-20In the face of the various kinds of brutal suppression that the CCP has been executing in the past forty years, there are so many Falun Gong practitioners who are willing to disregard their own lives to struggle and safeguard their beliefs. Don’t you think that these Falun Gong practitioners deserve admiration and support from an intellectual like me? I think the answer is yes. -
Swedish Member of European Parliament Sends Greetings to the Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance Fine Art Exhibition in Stockholm
2005-06-20Humans have material and physical as well as spiritual needs. Therefore the work for freedom of religion and freedom to seek and find a spiritual home for the soul is one of a human being’s most basic and undeniable rights. Human beings’ dignity, human rights and freedom will always be preserved all over the world. The silence about what is happening in China and the violations of human dignity in this country are deeply worrying. That is why this is a significant exhibition. -
European Friends of Falun Gong Speech at a London Press Conference
2005-06-19The defection of the three Chinese diplomats to Australia within the last 2 weeks is a clear sign that the stranglehold of the Chinese Communist Party on its people is beginning to weaken...A common theme of all three’s explanation for their defection was their unwillingness to work any longer for the CCP or to participate in the persecution of Falun Gong. They have also been able to recount details of the methods of the persecution used by the Chinese Government since 1999, indeed Hao Fengiun actually worked for the infamous 6-10 Office which is directly responsible for monitoring Falun Gong. -

Their petitions were echoed by many international organisations including the International Human Rights Organisation, Amnesty International and the United Nations Refugee Council. -
Well-Known Dutch Musicians Compile an Album Inspired by Falun Gong
2005-06-10From the titles of the songs it's obvious that the inspiration came from both the mystical aspects of oriental spiritual practices, which are so very present in Falun Gong, as well as the perseverance and endurance of Falun Gong practitioners that manifest in their struggle to stop the persecution they are suffering in China. -
European Friends of Falun Gong Submits a List of Chinese Communist Party Criminals to the UK Home Office
2005-06-04European Friends of Falun Gong points out in the letter to the Home Office that the members of EFOFG are not Falun Gong practitioners; they are supporters of Falun Gong practitioners’ freedom of belief and basic human rights. In the last 6 six years, the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners has violated the International Human Rights Convention which China has signed. The CCP has also gone against the rules of nature in its widespread destruction of the lives of so many innocent people and the CCP’s crimes are crimes against humanity. -
President of Swiss Political Party Strongly Appeals to Director of Suzhou Lumu Shoushen Zhan Xi Prison for Release of Falun Gong Practitioner
2005-06-01"It just can’t be true that during our lifetime a person is treated as a criminal and imprisoned for no other reason than practising peacefully at home. One’s religious belief, under the concept of religious freedom, is sacrosanct. Such a system is beyond my comprehension. I therefore appeal to you strongly, Mr. Director, to do all in your power to exert pressure for the immediate release of Ms. Qiu Minghua. We wish to see her living in freedom." -
Amnesty International's Annual Report Criticises the Continuous Persecution of Falun Gong in China
2005-05-30"The Falun Gong spiritual movement remained a key target of repression, which reportedly included many arbitrary detentions. Most of those detained were assigned to periods of "re-education through Labour" without charge or trial, during which they were at high risk of torture or ill-treatment, particularly if they refused to renounce their beliefs. Others were held in prisons and psychiatric hospitals. According to overseas Falun Gong sources, more than 1,000 people detained in connection with the Falun Gong had died since the organisation was banned in 1999, mostly as a result of torture or ill-treatment." -
"European Friends of Falun Gong" Organisation Writes to Malaysian High Commissioner
2005-05-23As you are no doubt aware, over 2,300 Falun Gong practitioners have been tortured to death since China’s ban on Falun Gong in 1999, and many more thousands languish in prisons and labour camps across the country merely for exercising their constitutional right to freedom of speech and belief. For the Malaysian government to ignore the threat of further torture for Ms. Lin would be an act of extreme inhumanity and would show up Malaysia in a very negative way to the rest of the world. -
Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs Questioned about Progress in Ending the Persecution Against Falun Gong
2005-05-17"The EU-China human rights dialogue, established in 1996, is the agreed formal framework through which the EU raises its concerns about individual human rights cases, including those of Falun Gong practitioners and more general issues, such as the protection of freedom of religion and expression, which have a particular impact on practitioners of Falun Gong. The 19th round of the EU-China human rights dialogue took place in Luxembourg on 24th and 25th February 2005. At that meeting, the EU raised strong concerns about the persecution of persons on the grounds of their peaceful expression of belief, in particular members of Falun Gong. The EU also raised the cases of a number of Falun Gong practitioners with the Chinese representatives." -

Letter to the Singapore High Commissioner to UK from Non-governmental Organisation "European Friends of Falun Gong"
2005-05-05We wish to express our extreme concern at the unjustly harsh treatment of Falun Gong practitioners Cheng Lujin and Ng Chye Huay by the Singapore authorities following their recent convictions for ‘Assembling without a permit’ and ‘Possessing and mailing out uncertified VCDs’ in February 2003 in Esplanade Park, Singapore. The pair had since been held in custody pending trial and were convicted on April 27th 2005. Both practitioners appealed against the convictions and were given excessive fines of $20,000 and $24,000 respectively by a court in Singapore.
