The Les Presses Chinoises Falun Gong Slander/Hate Propaganda Case: How Jiang Exports Hate Propaganda Through Official Channels

In terms of attacking Falun Gong, Les Presses Chinoises used exactly the same methods as Jiang's group: lies and propaganda followed by the incitement of hatred. When people began to resent the page after page of gory so-called "news and reports" that were used to defame Falun Gong, Jiang's group staged the "Tiananmen Self-immolation Incident," which the international community put into the spotlight. From then on, hate propaganda has been spread on a large scale. -
An Inmate's Testimony:
2004-02-09Due to lack of understanding of Falun Gong, when I was first imprisoned I even slapped a Dafa practitioner's face. Due to slander from the television programs I felt that all Falun Gong practitioners were bad people. However, once I had personal contact with them, I gradually realised that they were all very kind people. There were lots of mosquitoes during summer but they never killed any mosquitoes. They told me that even a mosquito was a life and that they did not kill anything. -

A Little Girl in Front of a Police Car
2004-01-03The little girl said with a voice full of innocence, "Yes. I came to Tiananmen Square just to tell my friends the police a few words: Falun Dafa is good!" The policeman asked her immediately, "Where are you from? How old are you? Where are your parents?" The little girl opened her bright eyes and said, "I am nine years old. I came from Tsingtao. My Dad and Mom were sentenced to labour camps [for practising Falun Gong]." -

Four Year Old Practitioner Tells the Police, "Go Away You Bad People!"
2003-12-28Once the police stopped their delivery cart and insisted on taking pictures of them. Her mother firmly refused, but the police forcibly took pictures anyway. The police then tried to take them to the detention centre. Four-year-old Xing Er stood on the cart and scolded the police sternly, "Go away, you bad people! Don't you dare to touch my mother! You don't deserve to touch her!" Under their righteous thoughts, the police left in defeat. -

Many of these practitioners had remained in Beijing for a long time, waiting for a chance to appeal and say that Falun Dafa is good. Most of them had lost everything and they even had a hard time supporting themselves, but a glow of purity and harmony surrounded them. This moved my heart. -
Behind the Distorted Facts of Zou Gang's Murder Case
2003-12-02Not too long after CCTV aired this show in 1999, an elderly woman who had been my neighbour for many years told me that she knew Zou and his family. She said, "Zou has never practised Falun Gong. None of his neighbours have heard anything even if he did. It does not make any sense. I do not understand how they could insist on TV that he practised Falun Gong." I also learned that Zou had a twin brother who was mentally ill, single, and lived with his father. It was a fact that Zou killed a person, severely injured another, and mildly injured a third. It is not clear whether the cause of his mental disorder is physiological, hereditary, or due to other reasons, but we do know that it has nothing to do with Falun Gong. Many people who knew Zou well have never believed the lies that CCTV broadcast. -
Dalian City Post Office Forces Employees to Illegally Confiscate Mail Containing Dafa Truth-Clarifying Materials
2003-12-02According to internal reports from post office employees, post office officials in Dalian City, Liaoning Province required employees to check the contents of all mail. If they find that the mail contains information about the truth of the persecution of Falun Gong, they are required to confiscate the mail and retrieve the postage stamps. Only mail without any problems can be postmarked and sent out. If mail distributed by an employee was found to contain information on Falun Gong, this employee will be laid off if the Post Office receives notification from recipients more than three times. -

2003-11-01Suddenly the loudspeakers from the police van began shouting, "Those who are willing to leave their fellow practitioners are free to go!" One minute passed, two minutes passed, a half an hour passed, but no one left. No one including fellow practitioners that were still coming and even the spectators outside the demarcation moved a bit. It was as if time and space had been frozen. The scene was so quiet and solemn. -

2003-10-12One day, I shared a cab with my co-worker. While I was clarifying the truth to him, the taxi driver was also quietly listening in. We talked about the staged "self-immolation" and Jiang's political gang's persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. After my co-worker listened for awhile, he asked me what the deal was with those murder cases that are shown on TV. At that moment, the taxi driver suddenly spoke up, "Those things from the Party are all lies. Dafa practitioners are all kind people."
