Germany: The Thai Government Should Not Assist the CCP to Violate Human Rights
2005-12-20On December 16th 2005, German Falun Gong practitioners went to the Thai Embassy in Berlin to deliver an open letter to the Ambassador and the Thai government. They wished to express their concern about the recent violation of Falun Gong practitioners’ human rights by Thai police under pressure from the Chinese Embassy. The letter urged the Thai government not to assist the CCP in suppression of its own people and violate human rights. -
Slovak Republic: Falun Gong Warmly Welcomed by People of Rimavska Sobota
2005-12-20On Saturday December 17th, practitioners held an activity in the main square of Rimavska Sobota (a small town in south-mid Slovakia) to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, as well as the violations of basic human rights and freedom, which the Chinese communist government inflicts upon its own people. -
Sweden: Letting More People Know about the Persecution of Falun Gong and Recognise the CCP's Evil Nature
2005-12-20December 10th is the annual Nobel Peace Prize promulgation day, also International Human Rights Day. The “Epoch Times” newspaper held a rally to support six million Chinese people’s withdrawal from the CCP at the Mynttorget square in Stockholm city centre. Falun Gong practitioners were also invited to participate in this activity. -
Italy: Falun Gong Practitioners Peacefully Protest at the Thai Consulate and Deliver an Open Letter
2005-12-19On December 15th, several practitioners went to the Thai general consulate in Turin, delivered an open letter and also held a protest activity outside the consulate. The open letter expressed concern about mistreatment by Thai police of Falun Gong practitioners who were holding a peaceful protest outside the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok. -
Turkey: Falun Gong Practitioners Tell Members of the National Assembly about the Persecution
2005-12-19To call on the Turkish government to pay attention to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, which has now lasted for six years, Turkish Falun Gong practitioners went to the Grand Turkish National Assembly. They went to visit three senior assembly members, Mr. Ali Er, Ali Oksal and Mesut Deger, who is a lawyer and a leading member of the Human Right Committee of the assembly. They asked them to call on the Turkish government to pay attention to the cruel persecution of Falun Gong. -
Holland: Protest at Thai Embassy Against Thai Police who Violated Falun Gong Practitioner's Human Rights
2005-12-18On the morning of December 15th 2005, Dutch Falun Gong practitioners went to the Thai Embassy in Holland to deliver an open letter in protest against the Thai police's violation of Falun Gong practitioners’ human rights. The Embassy secretary accepted the letter. Practitioners introduced Falun Gong to the secretary, discussed the facts of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, as well as the CCP’s attempt to extend the persecution to many other countries overseas. -

2005-12-18On December 9th 2005, the day before International Human Rights Day, Falun Gong practitioners in Munich, Germany held protests at the Chinese Consulate to condemn the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) six years of brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Under condemnation from the whole world the CCP has further escalated the persecution. -
Portugal: Falun Gong Practitioners Join a Rally Opposing the CCP's Human Rights Abuses on the Eve of International Human Rights Day
2005-12-18On the eve of International Human Rights Day, Falun Gong practitioners in Portugal joined a rally held in Lisbon. The rally was held to expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) violence and to support 6 million people quitting the CCP. After reading the information on the display boards, people signed the petition in support of the Chinese people quitting the CCP. -
Ireland: "Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance" International Art Exhibition in Dublin Warmly Welcomed
2005-12-17The "Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance" International Art Exhibition was successfully held in the Tallaght Institute of Technology in south Dublin between the 5th and 9th of December 2005. The deputy mayor of South Dublin County Karen Warren attended the opening as did Councillor John Hannon, who made an excellent speech. -
Austria: Practitioners in Vienna Protest Against the Persecution on International Human Rights Day
2005-12-17On December 10th, International Human Rights Day, practitioners in Vienna held an event to raise awareness of the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China and call for action to end this atrocity. The event attracted the public’s attention, and Chinese tourists also stopped to read the posters and view the photos to learn about the truth. -
Ukraine: Practitioners Condemn the Rape of Female Falun Gong Practitioners by Chinese Police
2005-12-17On December 10th, Ukrainian Falun Gong practitioners held a protest opposite the Chinese Embassy to demonstrate against the six year long bloody persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China and to strongly condemn the wicked rape of female Falun Gong practitioners by police in China and demand that the evil police be brought to justice. -
Iceland Ombudsman: Government Broke Law by Denying Falun Gong Entry
2005-12-16On December 5th, the Ombudsman, a position designated to monitor the state administration and local authorities, released its opinion on the Falun Gong entry denial case from June 2002: The government broke the law by denying Falun Gong practitioners from crossing the border, and authorising Icelandair to carry out the decision by refusing to permit Falun Gong members to board Icelandair planes. This is the second positive decision made by the Iceland government-monitoring institutions. On June 5th 2003, the Data Protection Authority stated that the Justice Ministry acted unlawfully when it blacklisted members of the Falun Gong spiritual movement ahead of the state visit of Chinese president Jiang Zemin to Iceland. -
Holland: Anti-Torture Exhibition held on International Human Rights Day to Expose the Persecution by the CCP
2005-12-16December 10th was International Human Rights Day. In order to call on people to pay attention to the human rights of Falun Gong practitioners in China and expose all kinds of methods of excruciating torture the CCP uses when persecuting Falun Gong, practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition in the second biggest city in Holland. -

Germany: Recalling Falun Gong Practitioners' Peaceful Protests During Hu Jintao’s Visit to Germany
2005-12-14While looking at some photos taken of practitioners' protests during Hu Jintao's visit to Germany, it seemed as if their voices are still lingering in my ears. "Falun Gong is good!" "Stop the persecution of Falun Gong!" During the first ten days of November, Hu Jintao could hear such voices wherever he went in Germany. It gave me the feeling that I was there again.
