Finland: Finnish Congress of Human Rights Commission Appeals for Attention to the Human Rights Conditions in China

On August 13th, 2005, the World Athletics Championship was heading to its final stages in the Finnish capital. A parade supporting the withdrawal of 3.6 million people from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was held in the city centre. After the parade finished, people held a rally at Esplanade Park which drew a great deal of attention. -
Germany: People at Lunen City Festival Deeply Attracted to the Principles of “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance”

On September 9th, 10th and 11th, 2005, in the old industrial area of the Ruhr, Germany, the annual Lunen City Festival was held. During this year’s festival, apart from greetings to French, Bulgarian and other minority groups who live in Germany; it was also the first time for them to see a Falun Gong stall and practitioner’s performances. -
Sweden: People Learn the Falun Gong Exercises at an Elite Gathering of Iranian Nationals

On the evening of September 11th, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners were invited to attend an elite gathering of Iranian nationals in Sweden’s capital Stockholm. At the gathering, practitioners introduced Falun Gong and performed a demonstration of the exercises. Many participants sensed an extremely strong energy field. -
Sweden: Helping the People of Uppsala Learn the Truth about Falun Gong

Practitioners from Uppsala held an anti-torture exhibition and Falun Gong exercise demonstration to inform local people about Falun Gong and the ongoing persecution. Large numbers of people stopped to take leaflets and sign a petition calling for an end to the human rights abuses against Falun Gong practitioners. -

On Saturday, September 10th, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners attended family recreation activities in Trier, Germany, hoping to introduce local people to Falun Gong and let them know about efforts to rescue the orphans of persecuted Falun Gong practitioners in China. Children gathered at the Falun Gong information booth to learn how to fold Lotus Flowers. -
Germany: "Truthfulness Compassion Tolerance” International Art Exhibition Held in Cham City

Falun Gong practitioners held a “Truthfulness Compassion Tolerance” International Art Exhibition in Cham City Hall in Germany at the beginning of September. The opening ceremony concluded after the demonstration of the five exercises. In the guest book many visitors wrote that they were deeply moved by the paintings. -
Germany: Falun Gong Is Warmly Welcomed at Hamburg Multi-Culture Festival

After winning awards in 2003 and 2004, Falun Gong was again the focus of the 2005 Hamburg Multi-Culture Festival held on September 10th. Led by bands, floats and splendid dancing groups, more than eighty civil organisations participated in the parade. The float and the Lotus Dance given by Falun Gong practitioners attracted loud applause from the crowds. -
France: Telling Chinese Tourists the Truth about Falun Gong Outside the Famous Gallery Lafayette in Paris
2005-09-18Many Chinese tourists accepted our fliers and they read them with intense interest. Some asked, “Why did Falun Gong practitioners besiege Zhongnanhai?” and “Why did they set themselves on fire?” After learning that those reports were all lies concocted by the Communist Party to frame and incite hatred towards practitioners for their own ulterior motives, they said, “We understand completely now, it was all mere propaganda.” Some even became interested in learning Falun Gong. -

On September 10th, 2005, the annual Sports and Culture Expo was held at Gymnase Pierre de Coubertin in Montgeron near Paris. This was the forth year that the French Falun Gong practitioners attended this Expo. They were invited to perform a Falun Gong exercise demonstration which attracted much interest from people. -
Russia: Practitioners in Moscow held an Anti-Torture Exhibition Condemning the Persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party

On September 11th, when Hu Jintao was in America, Falun Gong practitioners in Moscow used real people to reenact the persecution alongside related pictures showing scenes of torture, and demonstrated to people the brutal truth of Falun Gong's persecution for six years by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). -
France: People in Nancy told Practitioners, “Keep going and persevere!”

Throughout the activities, many passers-by stopped to view the poster display boards. When hearing that such a cruel persecution is still taking place in the 21st century, they were astonished and talked to practitioners one after another wanting to know more of the facts. Many passers-by came forward to encourage practitioners. -

A female Falun Gong practitioner who personally suffered human rights abuses a the hands of the Chinese Communist Party for practising Falun Gong came to the square to distribute flyers. Many people noticed the girl from far away and approached her asking, "What good things are you distributing today?" Most people solemnly received the flyers when they heard that it was about human rights issues in China. -
United Kingdom: Introducing Falun Gong at Birmingham Art Festival

At 4 pm on Saturday the 10th of September, seven female Falun Gong practitioners in traditional Chinese costumes demonstrated the five sets of exercises on the main stage, followed by their self-created dance “Flying Law Wheels.” When Falun Gong music played, the whole square seemed to be immersed in an atmosphere of peace and harmony.
