  • Radio Free Asia: The board of appeal fights for the rights of Falun Gong practitioners

    In response to the detention and brutal treatment of Falun Gong practitioners, the Board of Appeals of the German Parliament has made a resolution urging the Germany Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Parliament to take effective measures to stop the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Falun Gong practitioner Jiang Renzheng was sentenced to three years in a labour camp after he was deported by the German government which underestimated the risk of Jiang’s return to China.
  • Norway: Rally in Oslo on World Human Rights Day to Support the Sixteen Million Withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party

    On December 9th, the Norwegian China Human Rights Society organised a rally in Oslo to support the sixteen million withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and also to mark World Human Rights Day. When the parade passed through the high street, passers-by all stopped to watch.
  • Radio Free Asia: A Husband Calls on German Society to Help Rescue his Detained Wife

    Zhang Zhentong is an international student in Germany and his wife Wang Xiaoyan is being detained in the notorious Masanjia Labour Camp where she has been subject to brutal persecution. Zhang recently obtained evidence that his wife is being persecuted and thus called upon German society and government for help to rescue her. Zhang said, "Because she still refused go to give up her belief, to force her to write a letter denouncing Falun Gong, several male guards tied her to a “Death Bed”. The authority then had a doctor to force feed her with unknown drugs which damage the neurological system."
  • Rallies in Sweden and Norway: Quit the Evil Chinese Communist Party

    On the 19th and 20th of December, both Chinese and western supporters of human rights in northern European countries separately held parades or rallies in Oslo and Stockholm expressing support for 16,000,000 Chinese people having withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its associated organisations.
  • Ukraine: Falun Gong Practitioners Expose the CCP's Crimes on the Commemoration Day for the Great Famine

    On November 26th, 2006, practitioners from Ukraine held activities in Donetsk to protest the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong. They told the Ukrainians about the atrocious persecution taking place in China with the hope of awakening kind people to fight this calamity together and to improve the human rights conditions in China as soon as possible.
  • Ukraine: People in Kramatorsk Condemn the Atrocities Commited by the CCP

    Falun Dafa practitioners in Kramatorsk held an activity in the town centre on December 17th, 2006. They took the asylum application of two Chinese Falun Gong practitioners in the Ukraine as an opportunity to expose to the public the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong. They also collected signatures supporting an end to the persecution.
  • Italy: Press Conference about Organ Harvesting in China

    On November 22nd, 2006, Italy's Ansa News Agency reported that Mr Della Vedova, Italian MEP, invited Canada's former Secretary of State (Asia Pacific) and Member of Parliament David Kilgour to give a presentation in the press room of the Italian Parliament. Kilgour discussed the report he drafted with human rights lawyer David Matas after their independent investigation into allegations that the Chinese Communist regime harvests organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.
  • Turkey: On World Human Rights Day Turkish Falun Gong Practitioners Expose the Bestial Nature of the CCP

    On December 9th and 10th, 2006, Turkish Falun Gong practitioners gathered in the capital city Ankara and collected signatures on the busiest pedestrian street. They hoped to expose the CCP's evil conduct, and to appeal for an end to the persecution, as well as tell the Turkish people about the CCP's brutal persecution of Falun Gong during the past seven years.
  • Germany: "You have my support!"

    The temperature in Munich plummeted. An elderly lady stood transfixed, fascinated by the sight of Falun Gong practitioners sitting in a line in the freezing weather. “Beautiful. It’s so beautiful.” She sighed as she watched the practitioners demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises.
  • Ukraine: Ukrainian Practitioners Take Part in a University Conference in Jihu

    On December 15th, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners were invited to join a round table conference entitled ‘‘To Resist Anti-Human Crime with International Law’’. The conference was held in the library of Jihu University and the Falun Gong practitioners' contribution aroused enormous interest among attendees.
  • Italy: On International Human Rights Day, Italian Practitioners Expose the CCP's Persecution of Falun Gong

    On International Human Rights Day, Italian practitioners held activities in Rome and Milan to raise awareness of the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong in China. Many people were horrified to hear about the Chinese Communist Party's trade in organs harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners and said they would write letters to their MPs to appeal to stop the persecution.
  • Ukraine: Practitioners Raise Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Gong in Kiev City Centre

    On December 16th, Falun Gong practitioners from Kiev held an activity in the city centre to tell local people about the CCP’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China. Practitioners also demonstrated the peaceful Falun Gong exercises. The activity attracted many passers-by who stopped to watch and find out more.
  • Ukraine: The Persecution of Falun Gong Receives Attention at an International Conference in Ukraine

    On December 5th, 2006, an international conference on the topic “The Media Opposes Terrorism and Extremism” was held in Ukraine. Three major topics were discussed: terrorism, extremism, and genocide. The conference also discussed how to prevent terrorism, as well as the co-operation between government and society to oppose terrorism together.
  • Russia: On International Human Rights Day Russian Falun Gong Practitioners Hold a Rally to Expose the CCP Crimes

    On December 9th and 10th, to coincide with the International Human Rights Day, Russian Falun Gong practitioners held a rally in Budyonnovsk, Stavropol to expose the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong which has lasted over seven years. People signed a petition to condemn the CCP and voice their support for Falun Gong practitioners.
  • Austria: Lawsuit Filed Against the Chief Perpetrators of the Persecution of Falun Gong

    The Austrian Falun Gong Association and the International Society for Human Rights (IGFM) held a joint press conference on December 15th, 2006, in Landtmann, a well-known café in Vienna. They announced that a lawsuit has been filed against the chief perpetrators who were directly involved in the persecution of Falun Gong, including Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Li Lanqing, Liu Qi and some others. They are suspected of committing crimes of genocide and torture.
