In the statement of claim, the Falun Gong practitioners allege that the three Chinese officials were "vicariously liable for the actions of their subordinates in persecuting the plaintiffs." The claim says that Li Lanqing "designed and oversaw implementation of many aspects of the campaign against Falun Gong," including re-education through forced labour and brainwashing, and unlawful detention and torture, while Luo Gan allegedly directly participated in policy-making to escalate the persecution of Falun Gong. -

The practitioners' procession has won an award every year and received the best walking award this year. Local residents were warmhearted and applauded or waved at the practitioners' procession. -

United States: Congress to "End the Persecution of Falun Gong in China and Abroad, and Release Falun Gong Practitioners from Detention"
2005-11-10In a Dear Colleague letter by Rep. Christopher H. Smith currently being circulated in the US Congress, congressional representatives are calling on President Bush to have "human rights be made an integral part of our bilateral agenda" on his upcoming trip to China. The persecution of Falun Gong was a major topic discussed in the letter, with one of the action items being to "End the persecution of Falun Gong in China and abroad.
