Hong Kong: Falun Gong Practitioners and Other Groups Hold Activities to Support 35 Million Withdrawals from CCP

Japan: Practitioners in Tokyo Call for an End to the Persecution

On May 6th, 2008, Chinese President Hu Jintao visited Japan. Local practitioners held activities in front of the National Diet and Chinese Embassy to call for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong, and to bring its primary perpetrators, Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing, and Zhou Yongkang, to justice. -

As the final drum beat of "Victory Drums" resounded throughout the Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, at about 10 p.m. on May 7, 2008, applause and cheers filled the auditorium and the audience gave a standing ovation. It marked the end of a successful world tour of the Chinese Spectacular by Divine Performing Arts in 2008. -

Practitioners dressed in golden yellow Tang Dynasty costume performed flowing exercises as dozens of onlookers gathered to watch the Falun Dafa Day activities on Saturday May 10th on the North Terrace, Trafalgar Square, London. A rainbow of coloured balloons arched over a royal blue banner which read: “Celebrating the 16th anniversary of Falun Dafa”. -

After Divine Performing Arts concluded its Chinese Spectacular performance in Jubilee Auditorium, Edmonton, Canada, many spectators were so touched that they were reluctant to leave. English teacher Gerard Liston was one of them. Mr. Liston came to see the performance at the invitation of a friend. He said he liked it very much and that the show had transported him to "an ancient and graceful China." -

Afterwards, she told a reporter, "After the appeal, many people wondered whether we had 'become political.' I don't think so. Every practitioner had benefitted from Dafa. We were only expressing ourselves."
