Hong Kong: Falun Gong Practitioners Protest Against Chinese Culture Minister Sun Jiazheng for Instigating Hatred

On November 14th, 2004, Hong Kong Falun Gong practitioners protested the visit of Chinese Culture Minister Sun Jiazheng, condemning his instigation of hatred toward Falun Gong through the state-run media and under the guise of cultural exchange. In addition, Sun is in charge of overseeing the Internet surveillance designed to block Falun Gong practitioners' communication and prevent the Chinese people from accessing Western media reports about Falun Gong. -
Su Rong Escapes from Zambia, Lawsuit to be Filed Against Him at the International Court of Justice in The Hague
2004-11-28According to the most recent information, under an arrest warrant, the Party Secretary of Gansu Province, Mr. Su Rong, crossed the Chirundu border post in Zambia, and hid in Zimbabwe, then escaped to South Africa and flew back to China Monday evening, November 15, 2004. Falun Dafa practitioners expressed that they will not give up and intend to bring Su Rong to justice by taking his case to The International Court of Justice in The Hague. -

Chen, the former Chinese Minister of Education, was visiting Korea from November 18th to 23rd. -

Falun Dafa Practitioners in Korea File Lawsuit against Former Chinese Education Minister Chen Zhili
2004-11-26These acts of persecution violate the Chinese Constitution and its laws on education, resulting in long-term injuries to the pure hearts of children. Chen cannot escape the net of justice for her crimes. Falun Dafa practitioners wish to state that exposing Chen's crimes is for the purpose of stopping such villains from coming to Korea for public activities, and also to warn other persecutors that good deeds will be rewarded with good returns, and evil will be met with retribution. -

On November 23rd, 2004, more than a thousand Falun Gong practitioners formed two large and striking Chinese characters that spelt out "Fa-rectification" amidst colourful autumn maple trees on the East Side of Central Park in Manhattan. In addition to this two large banners reading, "Falun Dafa is Good" and "The World Needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance," created a beautiful scene on East Street. -
China: Video Exposing the Persecution of Falun Gong Broadcast on Beijing Satellite TV
2004-11-24At 8 pm November 20th, 2004, the Beijing satellite TV system was tapped into and broadcast a video entitled "Between Heaven and Earth". Viewers in different areas reported seeing varying lengths of the video, from 10 minutes to 30 minutes. The video mostly consists of information about the staged self-immolation in Tiananmen Square. According to some in Beijing, this may have been the longest video aired through TV tapping and the one with the greatest impact. -

Practitioners from the United States, Australia, Sweden, UK, Spain, Venezuela and Peru attended. Twenty-one new and veteran practitioners shared their experiences during the conference. -
United States: More People in Manhattan Request Information about Falun Dafa and the Persecution
2004-11-22After listening to a practitioner's explanation of the persecution happening now in Chinese labour camps, he said, "All of the products that our company uses come from China, and I am very concerned about the present situation in China. This is so inhumane and inconceivable! If this is the present situation of their human rights, then I am really worried whether any of the goods bought by my Chinese partner come from labour camps-- When I return, I will certainly ask her to find out the sources of those products."
