December 10th, 2004 was World Human Rights Day. Hong Kong Falun Gong practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition. Before noon, more than 100 Falun Gong practitioners gathered in Chater Gardens to call upon the public to help stop the Jiang regime's persecution of Falun Gong, which has now lasted for five years. -

On November 7th, 2004, several European Falun Gong practitioners began their journey to Lima, Peru to attend an Experience Sharing Conference and to introduce Falun Dafa and expose the persecution during the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting in Chile. Their first stop was Cuzco, an ancient town far from the capital. -

Epoch Times: Victims Call on Canada to Lead in Human Rights

CANADA -- Over a 120 torture victims are asking Canada's Attorney General Irwin Cotler to prosecute China's former dictator Jiang Zemin. The victims, who suffered under Jiang's persecution of Falun Gong in China, are trying to invoke Canada's Crimes Against Humanity and War Crimes Act. The case is unprecedented in Canada. The group's lawyers, David Matas, an international law expert, and Joe Arvay, announced the request in Vancouver late last month. -

The Fourth National Religion Expo is an annual grand meeting for different religious and spiritual groups in Taiwan. This year, the Expo moved to Yunlin County Stadium and the square in front of the County Council building in Liudou City, Taiwan. This year, Falun Gong attended the expo for the first time. -

United States: New York's Superior Court to Try Liang Guanjun and Accomplices for Assault
2004-12-13On November 30th, 2004, attorney Lan Han representing Falun Gong practitioners officially requested that Liang Guanjun and his accomplices be brought to trial, rather than have the matter be settled out of court. On June 23, 2003, Liang Guanjun and other individuals with links to the Chinese Communist Party verbally and physically attacked Falun Gong practitioners outside the Yidong Restaurant in New York City. -

On November 30th and December 1st, The Falun Dafa Club at San Jose State University held an Anti-Torture exhibition on campus to raise awareness of the brutal persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners by the Jiang regime in China. Once the students saw the torture exhibition and all of the posters detailing the facts of the persecution they were shocked.
