Party Secretary of Gansu Province Is Barred from Leaving Zambia
2004-11-13Mr Su Rong, the Party secretary of Gansu Province was detained by Zambian Supreme Court on the afternoon of November 4th, 2004 after he and a Chinese Communist Party delegation paid an official visit to Zambia's Vice President Lupando Mwape. An information source claimed that Su Rong had to leave the delegation led by Mr. Wu Bangguo, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Chinese National People's Congress (NPC) and stay in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, for a "special" weekend. -

A Message of Support and Encouragement from a Vice Principal
2004-11-09My son Liang told us that his school's vice principal, Ms Friss, had sent him a card. She included a letter in the card. In the letter, Ms Friss said that she just read about the Washington Youth Bike Ride to Chicago project, which Liang was involved in this past May, and that she was deeply touched, as Liang was willing to help the children of Falun Gong practitioners who are being persecuted in China. -
