United States: New York State's Capital City Unanimously Passes Resolution in Support of Falun Gong

On July the 8th 2004, The Albany City Common Council unanimously (12 to zero) passed resolution 44.71.04R in support of the rights and freedom of those who practise Falun Gong. This is the second unanimously passed resolution that supports Falun Gong. The first one, 71.122.00R, was passed on December the 18th 2000. -
A South African TV Station Broadcasts Interview with Practitioners Across Africa During Prime Time
2004-09-10On August the 18th to the 20th 2004, four Falun Dafa practitioners from western countries went to South Africa to communicate the facts of Falun Dafa to the African media, schools, political circles, Ministers from African countries, and the general public. This attracted widespread attention. The South Africa Broadcasting Company and a local TV station interviewed Falun Dafa practitioners and broadcast the programs across Africa during its prime time news. -
Taiwan: International Youth Chamber of Commerce Invites Falun Gong Practitioners to Attend "Activities Showing Compassion for Young People"

On August 22nd 2004, at the Rende Sports Park in Tainan County, Taiwan, the International Youth Chamber of Commerce held a series of activities to show compassion for young people. Sponsors invited the Falun Gong practitioners' waist drum troupe to perform at the opening ceremony. -
Australia: Independent Member for Bligh Clover Moore Requests Government to Protect Falun Gong Practitioners in Australia

Africa: Introducing Falun Dafa in Adis Ababa of Ethiopia

The owner of a fitness centre in Adis Ababa, Ethiopia was interested in Falun Gong and wished to learn it. He invited Falun Gong practitioners to give a demonstration of the five-sets of Falun Gong exercises in the fitness centre and to answer any questions. In addition, practitioners were invited to participate in an annual exhibition by a martial arts school. The activity was held in a well-known concert hall. -

Japan: Tokyo Formally Recognises the Japanese Falun Dafa Association as a Non-Profit Organisation
