Canada: MP Scott Reid Writes to Chinese Authorities Demanding the Release of Relative of Falun Gong Practitioner

On July 14, 2003, Mr. Scott Reid, Canadian Member of Parliament, wrote 4 letters demanding the Chinese authorities to release Chengyuan Wang, Ms. Yuzhi Wang's younger brother who was imprisoned simply because he is her relative. They did this solely to punish Yuzhi for having spoken out and revealed the truth of the persecution. -

2003-07-29Regarding the Falun Gong issue, Mr. Schriver said, "An issue well known to all of us is China's continued harsh repression of groups... including the Falun Gong. Various sources report that thousands of Falun Gong adherents have been arrested, detained, and imprisoned, and that several hundred or more Falun Gong adherents have died in detention since 1999. I am sad to report that the repression of the Falun Gong continues, and continues to be an issue of great concern internationally and in Washington. -
Korea: Stories From Dafa Practitioners' Walking Tour Throughout South Korea to Clarify the Truth
2003-07-29The policeman became especially interested in Falun Gong, after seeing among the practitioners an elderly lady, over 80 years old, who was able to walk over dozens of Li (1 Li = 0.5 km) daily. He kept asking us how to do the practise. When a practitioner gave him a copy of Zhuan Falun as a present, he expressed his gratitude over and over again.
