Additional Information about Beijing Practitioner Mr. Peng Guangjun Who Died from Mistreatment in Tuanhe Forced Labour Camp

An older Falun Dafa practitioner, Mr. Peng Guangjun died on April 1st, 2004, from the mistreatment he suffered in Tuanhe Forced Labour Camp in Beijing. Tuanhe Forced Labour Camp officials told the people outside the labour camp that he had died of a heart attack. According to those who knew about this incident, when the police led his family members to the mortuary to view the body, they purposely turned off the light and only lit a single candle to cover up the evidence of their crime. The labour camp authorities bullied Mr. Peng's family members because they were simple peasants, and the police threatened them using various tactics. -
Three Practitioners Detained in a Brainwashing Centre for over a Year, Another Has Her Retirement Pension Cut Off and Her Son Arrested
2007-10-05On the morning of June 20th, 2006, 610 Office officials arrested Ms. Liang Zhengfeng, Ms. Xiang Shiqing, and Mr. Shi Dengling. The three were taken to Liannigou Brainwashing Centre because they had mailed materials about the persecution of Falun Gong to others. The practitioners refused to accept any form of " forced transformation." The police have tortured them so brutally that they are all now disfigured. Their family members have been making efforts to get them released for over a year, but the police refuse to release them. -
Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in Jiangsu Provincial Women's Forced Labour Camp
2007-10-05Hong Ying and Zhou Ying, the political instructors of the camp, have coerced and instigated criminal inmates to beat practitioners. They force practitioners to squat on an inverted bench without shoes and transcribe materials that slander Falun Dafa at the same time. The criminal inmates beat any practitioners that disobey the orders. Practitioners who resist and dare to hold hunger strikes are force fed. Other practitioners are compelled to watch. During the force- feeding process, the nose, mouth and throat of the practitioner are often severely injured, so she is transferred to the recovery centre for so-called treatment. But while there, the practitioner is injected with unknown drugs that destroy the nervous system, so after a while, she suffers from headaches and has a constant bitter taste in her mouth. -
Retired Teacher Ms. Guo Cuizhu Arrested by State Security Division of Yanping District, Nanping City, Fujian Province
2007-10-05On September 9th, 2007, 66-year-old retired schoolteacher, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Guo Cuizhu was reported to the authorities for informing people about the true nature of Falun Gong and the persecution to people at a market. She was arrested by agents from the State Security Division. Recently the State Security Division of Nanping City has been unceasingly mistreating Falun Dafa practitioners. To date, six practitioners are still imprisoned at the Nanping Municipal Detention Centre. Among them, 73-year-old practitioner Mr. Chen Mingchen has been imprisoned since December 2006. He suffers serious urinary incontinence due to the torture he suffered while in the detention centre and also suffers from high blood pressure. -
Changchun Police Cruelly Persecuted Me
2007-10-04Since the persecution began in 1999 I have been arrested over ten times by police from the 610 Office in Changchun City, Jilin Province, and tortured so severely that my life has been in danger several times. In September 2001 police rampantly arrested dozens of Falun Dafa practitioners, including me. I was tortured with electric batons and my arms were pulled behind my back for several consecutive nights. My skin was torn and bloody from head to foot. The police blindfolded us and took us to Jingyuetang in Changchun, where there was a dark den where evil persecutors abused practitioners. I heard miserable screaming from many rooms where practitioners were tortured. The police also often took practitioners outside and beat them late at night. They covered practitioners' eyes with a black cloth, lest they recognise the place where they had been persecuted. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Wu Xindong Passes Away Following Imprisonment
2007-10-04The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) continued to persecute Mr. Wu Xindong during the eight years since July 20th, 1999. He was incarcerated at Xinhua Forced Labour Camp in Mianyang City on two occasions. While incarcerated he was brutally tortured and sustained internal injuries. Later, he was destitute and forced to leave home to avoid the repeated harassment from local government and police. Finally, Wu Xindong could not endure the prolonged inhumane treatments anymore. He died on July 27th, 2007, while living in destitution. -
Police Arrest Three Elderly Ladies in Li County, Hebei Province, Ransack Their Homes and Confiscate Their Property
2007-10-04On September 19th, 2007, three elderly ladies, Ms. Wen Zhen, Ms. Shu Mei and Ms. Cui Xiaoxian went to the Huagang Area to distribute leaflets exposing the persecution of Falun Gong. They were arrested by a group of police from Li County National Security Team. That same afternoon, the police ransacked their homes. The confidcated electrical equipment and took away all belongings of any value, leaving behind only a broken refrigerator. Ms. Shu Mei's grand daughter broke into tears when she returned home and saw the mess. She was too scared to sleep in the home that night. While the policemen ransacked their homes, they did not show any search warrant or ID, nor did they provide a log of the confiscated items or have any consent from witnesses or the victims' family members. -
Police in Jilin City Cremate a Practitioner's Body to Destroy Evidence of their Crimes, and Lie in Wait to Arrest Practitioners Attending the Cremation

On August 8th, 2007, Jilin City Public Security Bureau officials mobilised over 100 police officers and notified Wang Minli's family that her body would be cremated that day. They were told that the family could attend, but only those who do not practise Falun Gong, because (if they do) they could be arrested at any time. Family members were choked with tears. After Wang Minli was arrested on March 15th, the police told them that she was doing very well in jail. However on June 19th, her family received a call notifying them about her death. -
No Reunion for Falun Gong Practitioner's Family
2007-10-03The Mid-Autumn Festival is a holiday for family reunions, however thousands of Falun Gong practitioners cannot be with their families. One of them is Mr. Han Meicheng. Han Meicheng's wife and eight-year-old son are now home alone. While other families enjoyed family reunions, all they could do was sadly look towards the Wangcun Forced Labour Camp in Zibo, about 160 miles away. The backbone of their family - Han Meicheng, is suffering from brutal persecution in that labour camp. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Shao Chengluo Severely Tortured in Shandong Province Prison

Dr. Shao Chengluo is a doctor of Chinese medicine who practises Falun Gong. In 2001, he was arrested and sent to Qingdao City Forced Labour Camp for three years. While imprisoned, he was cruelly tortured. When his term was up, the Chinese Communist officials extended his term to further persecute him. In May 2006, Dr. Shao was arrested again by police and then sentenced to seven years in prison in Shandong Province. There, the perpetrators tortured him, crippling many parts of his body. -
Mr. Hu Zhiming Brutally Force-Fed in Liaoning Province
2007-10-03It was recently reported that Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Hu Zhiming was being held at the Jinzhou City Prison located in the Nanshan Area, Taihe District, in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. He had been on a hunger strike for a considerable length of time, and in response, prison authorities brutally forced-fed him in the prison hospital. He is now unable to walk and is confined to a wheelchair. He remains in critical condition. -
Ms. Luo Xiangyin Taken into Custody While Teaching
2007-10-03Since the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20th, 1999, Ms. Luo Xiangyin has been subjected to persecution many times by the Chinese Communist Party. On September 17th, 2007, while Ms. Luo was teaching in the Balipu Village Primary School, the principal called her into his office. She was then taken away by an officer of the State Security Division in Yi County, under the pretext that no one would be allowed to go to Beijing to appeal during the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) 17th Congress. She was then taken to the Jinzhou City No. 2 Detention Centre. -
Urgent Call to Stop Persecuting Two Older Falun Gong Practitioners -- Ms. Li Chunmei and Ms. Ren Xueying
2007-10-02Since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began persecuting Falun Gong, Ms. Li Chunmei and Ms. Ren Xueying, two older practitioners from Zhoukou City in Henan Province, have been detained and persecuted multiple times. At about 3:00 p.m. on August 24th, 2007, Ren Xueying and Li Chunmei were taken from their homes at the same time. Ms. Ren Xueying, 58, is a retired senior lecturer from the Zhoukou Sports School. After Ms. Ren's second Beijing appeal the persecutors sentenced her to one year and nine months of forced labour. Ms. Li Chunmei is an elderly retired employee from the Department of Logistics at Zhoukou Normal University. She was detained in a detention centre when she was critically ill from persecution. Her husband, unable to withstand the pressure of harassment from officials, beat her. -
Barbaric Brainwashing in the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region Women's Prison
2007-10-02The Women's Prison has never stopped its persecution of practitioners since its illegal detention of them from the beginning. It uses long-term brainwashing sessions to continuously force practitioners to "transform". The various torture techniques commonly applied in the prison include confining practitioners in a small cell for a long period of time, electrically shocking them, hanging practitioners up by their handcuffs, force-feeding, instigating convicts to beat practitioners and putting them under a constant 24/7 monitoring schedule by the convicts. The imprisoned practitioners are not allowed to talk or smile. The convicts are instructed to read slanderous materials about Dafa to the practitioners non-stop. -
Practitioners Ms. Wu Zhengrong and Ms. Jing Shaofang Brutally Tortured
2007-10-02Ms. Wu Zhengrong and Ms. Jing Shaofang from Mianyang City, Sichuan Province have frequently been persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Ms. Wu left her home because of the persecution and her whereabouts are unknown. Ms. Jing has been detained for more than seven years and was tortured during that time. She was once forced to sleep on a "dead man's bed" for 18 days and afterwards her legs were purple and swollen and she could not stand up.
