Mr. Cai Bo from Shenyang City, Liaoning Province in Prison for Nearly 6 Years

In December 2000, many banners saying "Falun Dafa is Good!" were hung all over the Huanggu District streets. Policemen arrested Mr. Cai Bo, 38, brutally beat him, tortured him, but still could not force him to renounce the practice. In Spring 2001, the Huanggu District Court sentenced Mr. Cai Bo to six years in the Anshan Prison, and he was recently released. During these past nearly six years, Mr. Cai Bo has endured all sorts of inhuman tortures, but he always kept a solid faith. -
My Brother, Lin Mingli, Persecuted by Shanghai 610 Office Agents
2006-12-15My younger brother, Lin Mingli, was arrested by Shanghai police and brutally tortured at a labour camp for two years for practising Falun Gong. He was freed from the labour camp due to rescue efforts from the Canadian government and others. A short time after my brother was reunited with his wife he was suddenly arrested again by 610 Office agents. He has been detained since 2005, only because he persists in Dafa practice. The local 610 Office regard him as a major target. -
The Persecution of Ms. Han Guirong from Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province
2006-12-15After July 22nd, 1999, police exerted pressure on my husband to make me renounce Falun Gong and prevent me from appealing for Falun Dafa. They threatened to withhold my husband's paycheck and confiscate his apartment. Constable Han Shaojie and Police Chief Zhou Xianting had several meetings with my husband. Each time they coerced him into providing "guarantee statements" to try to force me to give up practising Falun Gong. Due to the pressure and the malicious persecution, my husband deserted Dafa and used divorce as a means to try to frighten me into giving up cultivation. Since I had no job and owned no home, what awaited me after the divorce was homelessness and destitution -
Over A Dozen Older Practitioners Die as a Result of Persecution in Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province (Photos)
2006-12-15Ms. Li Zhifang was a 72-year-old Falun Gong practitioner from Jiamusi City. Since practising Falun Gong, the tracheitis that she previously struggled with was almost healed. However, after July 20th, 1999, officers from the Nangang Local Police Station often went to her home to harass her family. Her youngest son persisted in practising Falun Gong, hence was sentenced to forced labour. Li Zhifang's health deteriorated due to the persecution, and she was once hospitalised. In April 2002, Jiamusi City carried out an entire city search to arrest Falun Gong practitioners. The lawless people went to her home again to threaten and harass her family. Under such huge pressure, Li Zhifang passed away in May 2002. -
Three Family Members Have Died As a Result of the Persecution; Surviving Family Member Persecuted in Detention Centre
2006-12-15Mr. Zhao Guoxin and his wife, Ms. Wang Ying, both practise Falun Dafa. On July 28th, 2001, Mr. Zhao was killed after he was arrested by the Jiamusi Railway Police for having Dafa related materials with him. Ms. Wang's father and father-in-law could not bear the pain of losing him, and they also died one after the other. Despite these events, the police at Hegang still try to torment Ms. Wang Ying by searching her house and confiscating her property, sentencing her and torturing her. -
85-Year-Old Practitioner's Mother Arrested: Guilty Police Officers Remain at Large
2006-12-15On September 8th, 2006, policemen Liu Zhongping and Liu Feng from the Kangping Police Station, Lishu County, Jilin Province, arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Meng Xiangqi and looted his cash, bank card and ID card. Later Mr. Meng was sentenced to six years in prison. On October 30th, Mr. Meng's 85-year-old grandmother, Ms. Zhang Shulan, twice went to Liu Zhongping asking for her grandson's release and return of the confiscated cash. However, she was verbally abused and slapped in the face. Liu dragged her to the street. -
Practitioner Ms. Song Shuhua from Laishui County, Hebei Province Arrested Again
2006-12-14On November 28th, 2006, Ms. Song Shuhua was arrested a few days after returning home. She had been living on the streets to avoid persecution. Policemen from the local station broke into her house and arrested her again. Ms. Song is detained at a detention centre. When Ms. Song's children learned about her arrest the detention centre staff did not allow her children to see her unless the family paid for her living expenses. The children could not afford such a large sum of money, so they went home in tears. -
A Family Brought Together and Torn Apart Again

Liu Huijia, 12 years old, is the daughter of Falun Dafa practitioners Liu Hongwei and Yu Lixin. Shao Linyao is the son of Dafa practitioners Shao Hui and Mu Ping. Since July 20th, 1999 when the persecution of Falun Gong began Liu Jiahui and Shao Linyao faced not only separation from their parents, but also the possibility of becoming orphaned. On May 13th, 2002, practitioner Yu Lixin was tortured to death at Jilin Province Hezuzi Women's Prison. In August 2002, Dafa practitioner Shao Hui was tortured to death. -
Family Members Refused Visits with Dafa Practitioner Liu Hongxia, Detained at Heizuizi Forced Labour Camp in Jilin Province, Because She Will Not Submit to Brainwashing
2006-12-14Dafa practitioner Liu Hongxia in Jilin Province has already been detained in the Heizuizi Forced Labour Camp for four months. Every Tuesday is her visiting day. Her family has only been allowed to meet with her twice since she has been detained there. When her family enquired as to the reason for this, the response from the forced labour camp was that Liu Hongxia was not brainwashed and was being closely monitored, so nobody could meet with her. After one month, when her family asked to meet with her again, the forced labour camp refused their request again, stating that they were Falun Gong practitioners. -
Suspicious Physical Check-ups and Blood Tests in Beijing Women's Forced Labour Camp
2006-12-14In 2003, I was arrested in Beijing when explaining the facts about Falun Dafa, and sentenced to two years of forced labour, served at the Beijing Women's Labour Camp. After being released from the camp, I was shocked to read the reports about the Communist Party's live harvesting of practitioners' organs for profit! I immediately recalled the physicals we were forced to undergo two to three times a year inside the camp. They may have been for organ harvesting purposes. They gave me three major physicals when I was at the camp in less than two years. They would always test our blood as well, telling us the purpose was to "check for hepatitis." -
Practitioner Ms. Cui Hongyan from Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province Is Arrested
2006-12-14At about 8:00 a.m. on November 1st, 2006, practitioner Ms. Cui Hongyan was arrested by police from Tieren Public Security Sub-bureau and Youyi Community Police Station in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province. Recently, more than 30 of Ms. Cui's relatives filed a petition to the appropriate judicial department, challenging the legality of her arrest. They reasoned that her practice of Falun Gong was a right to personal belief guaranteed by the Constitution. They argued that sentencing her to prison was illegal. Tieren Public Safety Sub-Bureau and its officers were therefore illegally arresting good citizens, which is clearly against the law. -
Ms. Jing Honghua Is Arrested on Her Way to Her Father's Funeral
2006-12-13In November 2006, practitioner Ms. Jing Honghua, who was forced to leave home and became homeless in order to avoid arrest and persecution, went to Shandong Province to attend the funeral of her father, who had died suddenly. She was arrested by the police officers at the Harbin Airport simply because she brought with her a copy of Zhuan Falun, a Falun Dafa book. She was then detained at the Yilan No. 2 Detention Centre for more than ten days. -
Mr. Gao Song Is on the Brink of Death, Imprisoned in a Forced Labour Camp by Police in Baishan City in Jilin Province
2006-12-13Mr. Gao Song was recognised as a good person. It became known throughout the city that police had arrested and were persecuting Mr. Gao. On November 15th Gao Song's family members took his child and went to the detention centre to visit him. Mr. Gao had been on a hunger strike for five days and his lips were dry and chapped. He was extremely weak, and his face had turned purple and he looked thin and pale. Yet on November 20th they quietly sent him to Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp in Changchun for two years of forced labour. -
Qinghua University PhD Student Wang Xin from Shenyang City, Liaoning Province Is in Jail for Practising Falun Gong
2006-12-13Because 27-year-old Mr. Wang Xin, a PhD student at Qinghua University, has held fast to his belief, he has been sentenced to nine years in prison. Wang Xin was suspended by the university and was told, "If you cannot break away from Falun Gong mentally and spiritually, do not come back to school." He is being held in Huazi Prison in Liaoyang. The brutal persecution has made him very weak. His girlfriend was not allowed into a postgraduate programme because she practised Falun Gong. -
The Persecution of Elderly Ms Sun Shuhua and Her Family in Yitong County, Jilin Province
2006-12-13Sun Shuhua, 68 years old, is from Jilin Province. Since July 1999, she and her family have been brutally persecuted by the Chinese Communist government for practising Falun Gong. Her husband died, her first daughter was sentenced and divorced, and her second daughter died, leaving behind an 11-year-old daughter and a 20-month-old daughter. Her once happy family was destroyed because of the persecution she suffered just for practising Falun Gong and trying to be a good person.
