Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Liu Cheng Disabled from Torture at the Jinzhou City Forced Labour Camp in Liaoning Province

Guards attempted to make Mr. Liu give up Falun Dafa. They made him sit on a bed, and handcuffed him separately to each side of the bed's headboard. The officers then incited criminals to beat him. They beat his chest with their fists and used the bottoms of their shoes to hit his head and face. They further used a mop handle to poke his chest, knees and ankles and kicked his back. While this was happening, the guards electrically shocked Mr. Liu's face and neck. Following that abuse, the evildoers handcuffed him to a heating pipe in such a way that he could neither stand nor squat, and they continued to beat and shock him. -
Six Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested by Police from Jilin Province
2006-10-07Police arrested practitioner Ms. Yang Zhonghong. Ms. Yang spoke about the facts of Falun Dafa to a family member of police officer Liang, and she was reported to the police. During the arrest, Tang Longping tried to coax Ms. Yang's four-year-old daughter into naming all the people that had met with her mother. The child was so frightened that she was trembling. The neighbours protested strongly against the abusive behaviour of these police. People say the police these days are worse than gangsters. -
Older Practitioner Ms. Du Xiuhua Persecuted in Weifang City, Shandong Province
2006-10-0758-year-old Ms. Du Xiuhua was arrested on September 6th, 2006, while speaking to people about the facts of Falun Dafa. Ms. Du is currently detained at the Detention Centre in Weifang City. The police went to her daughter's home and asked her to sign a document promising to stop practising Falun Dafa. Her daughter went to the detention centre and asked the officials there, "What are the reasons and legal basis of my mother's arrest?" She pointed out that it was an illegal detention and demanded the immediate release of her mother. However, detention centre police summarily refused her request. -
The Dark Secrets of Xuchang's No. 3 Prison: Practitioners Pass Out With Agonising Screams
2006-10-07For those steadfast practitioners, the guards shock them with multiple electric batons for hours each day, or use rubber batons to beat their legs. Many practitioners' legs were crippled with wounds all over. The guards also force practitioners to do slave labour for eighteen hours a day. For the ones who have steadfastly refused to write the three statements, in a grotesque display of crude barbarity, the police had five or six inmates hold one practitioner on the ground and stripped off his clothes. They then tied his private part with a nylon string, and had two people pull hard on the string. The practitioner passed out after letting out a heart-wrenching scream. -
Elderly Practitioner Ms. Tang Shirong from Chongqing Has Been Missing Since September 2005
2006-10-06Practitioner Ms. Tang Shirong around 66 years old, from Chongqing City, went missing at the beginning of September 2005 and there has since been no information of her whereabouts since. Her family members went to Jingkou's local police station, and also the local police station in Tongjiaxi Town in the neighbouring Beibei District, to report her disappearance. The authorities at both stations denied any knowledge of Ms. Tang's disappearance and refused to investigate further. -
Gaoyang Forced Labour Camp in Hebei Province Persecutes Practitioners by Locking Them in Dark Rooms, Burying Them Alive, and Leaving Them with Poisonous Snakes
2006-10-06Gaoyang Forced Labour Camp is a hell on earth. There were 103 electric batons used to shock practitioners' mouths and sensitive parts until their skin blistered. Practitioners were tied up with a rope until their shoulders dislocated and buried in holes in the ground until they almost suffocated. Guards wrapped practitioners' fingers with copper wire and ran current through it. The guards also used scissors to stab underneath the practitioners' feet, cuffed the practitioners and locked the cuffs to rings buried in the ground, and beat, kicked and electrically shocked practitioners who were physically weak. They also put poisonous snakes on the practitioners. -
Practitioners Suffer Cruel Persecution at Sanshui Forced Labour Camp, Guangdong Province
2006-10-06Between 2002 and 2005, the Entrance Team of Sanshui Forced Labour Camp, which detains and persecutes male Falun Gong practitioners, four times enacted a procedure called "Attacking the Base," in order to "transform" practitioners by cruel torture. It labels practitioners as "class enemies" and uses electric shocks very frequently. For going on a hunger strike, practitioners are confined in a small room. -
Persecution Suffered by Three Practitioners in Anxian Village, Laiwu City, Shandong Province
2006-10-06Communist Party Secretary Xian Baoyou summoned practitioners to his office. Xian Baoyou started loudly cursing the three Falun Gong practitioners and took a big knife from his pocket. He pointed the knife at their chests and shouted, "I'll stab you one by one!" Then he started yelling, beating and kicking them. He saw a thick wooden stick in the room. He grabbed the stick and swung it at Duan Mingxin saying, "Let me smash you to death!" Someone tried to seize the stick and took it out of his hands. He then noticed a saw in the room and picked it up. He put the saw to Duan Mingxin's neck and yelled, " I'll saw off your head!" -
Officials at Hebei University of Science and Technology Persecute Falun Gong Practitioners
2006-10-06Ever since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started persecuting Falun Gong on July 20th, 1999, officials at Hebei University of Science and Technology have been acting as political henchmen for the CCP. They deceive employees and students with lies to instigate hatred of Falun Gong, and actively persecute Falun Gong practitioners in the university. They force employees and students to write compositions that slander and denounce Falun Gong. The officials have applied the same methods used in the Cultural Revolution to instill terror and force everyone to denounce Falun Gong. -
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Kills Innocent Lives by Forced Abortions
2006-10-05Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Ying unexpectedly became pregnant with her second baby. As a loving and caring mother, Ms. Wang kept her pregnancy hidden for seven months because of the CCP high-pressure one-child policy. The officials of the City Administration Bureau, led by Zhang Zengzhen, and using the justification of carrying out the CCP's policy, forced Ms. Wang to have an abortion. In the hospital, Ms. Wang was tortured for many days, causing her to become very nervous. Due to the fact that she was very weak both physically and mentally, Ms. Wang was forced to abort in great pain. -
Practitioners in Huainan City, Anhui Province Sentenced For Steadfastly Believing in Falun Dafa
2006-10-0553-year-old Mr. Chen Xiu’an persisted in practising Falun Dafa and believing in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance," and was arrested in September 2005. During his detention in Huainan First Detention Centre, he was tortured and could no longer walk. In early December, 2005, the Tianjia’an District Court sentenced him to thirteen years of imprisonment. After torture his skin turned black, his eyes were sunken, and he couldn’t lift his legs. -
Mr. Song Zhendong from Liaoning Province Remains in Panjin Prison
2006-10-05Mr. Song Zhendong, 30, was persecuted by police and the 610 Office just because he practises Falun Gong. He was forced to leave home. Police went to Mr. Song's parents' home many times both day and night, demanding to know Mr. Song's whereabouts. They also went to the workplace of Mr. Song's wife. They harassed her and threatened, "If you do not cooperate, we will make you lose your job." She could not stand such mental torture. In the end the police even forced her to divorce her husband. In May 2004, police arrested Mr. Song and sentenced him to nine years in prison. -
The Inhumane Persecution of Practitioner Ms. Wang Jiping from Jiangsu Province
2006-10-05Ms. Wang Jiping, a 38 year-old practitioner was arrested and forcibly sent to a brainwashing class in November 2000 when she was giving out Falun Gong materials exposing the persecution. She refused to be "reformed" and was then detained again. She was sentenced to two years in a forced labour camp and was sent to the Judong Forced Labour Camp. The police shocked her using three electric batons at the same time, until she fainted. -
Fourteen Senior Citizen Practitioners Gained Health After Practising Falun Dafa, but Died After Being Forced to Giving It up
2006-10-05After the persecution began Ms. Cheng Shuangqin's husband went to appeal for Falun Gong and was detained at the county detention centre. Police and officials went to her home many times to harass the family and ransack their house. Her husband paid over ten thousand yuan before being released from custody. Under the intense pressures of harassment and extortion she stopped cultivating. Three months later her illness recurred. She suffered a stroke, which left her paralysed and unable to take care of herself. She suffered for three years and eventually died on May 12th, 2004. -
Practitioner Mr. Yu Zonghai Disabled with Eye Injury Due to Slave Labour at Mudanjiang Prison
2006-10-04On November 12th, 2001, Mr. Yu was arrested and was sentenced to a heavy prison term of 12 years. At the police station Mr. Yu was brutally beaten, and the police poured mustard oil into his mouth and nose. In the prison guards instigated prisoners to beat Mr. Yu until he had a bloody mouth and nose. Nevertheless he was still forced to continue doing forced labour. In late August 2006, Mr. Yu's left eye was injured while he was working in the machine room. His tear gland was cut.
