Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Liu Fengchun was one of the "Top Ten Schoolteachers of the Year," the "Excellent Young Schoolteacher of Changyi Precinct," Chairman of Education at Changyi Precinct's Lianhua Elementary School, and a top-level schoolteacher. However, Lianhua Elementary School suspended him from his post when he refused to give up his personal, spiritual belief in Falun Gong. To make ends meet, Mr. Liu had no choice but to work as a salesman and a janitor. Eventually, they forced him to resign. -
Two Hundred Falun Dafa Practitioners Still Illegally Imprisoned in Shandong No. 2 Forced Labour Camp
2005-06-30Two hundred male Falun Dafa practitioners are still imprisoned in Shandong No. 2 Forced Labour Camp. The torture methods used there are ruthless. Dafa practitioners who dare to say "Falun Dafa is great!" are tortured with electric batons, deprived of sleep, hung up by their handcuffs, beaten with iron and wooden tools, stripped and exposed to the cold, or scratched, imprisoned in solitary confinement, forced to stand for extended periods, denied use of the toilet, given extensions to their prison terms, etc. Young and old, practitioners are ruthlessly persecuted mentally, physically, and financially. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Jin Xingbo Tortured to Death in 2001
2005-06-30On November 27, 2000, Mr. Jin Xingbo was arrested at his home and jailed in prison. He went on a hunger strike to protest and was brutally force-fed. On July 3, 2001, he was suddenly sent home by the local police, who said he had a lung infection and was dying of lung cancer. Mr. Jin could not take care of himself and was dying. On July 21, 2001, Mr. Jin left this world. The family requested an autopsy to properly determine the true cause of death. Local police and government officials, however, ignored his family's requests, and forced them to take his body on the afternoon of July 23, 2001, and have it cremated. -
Seven Falun Dafa Practitioners from Xinjiang, Beijing, Sichuan, and Liaoning Provinces Die Due to Persecution
2005-06-3065 year old Mr. Li Xingquan was from Sichuan Province. His wife was repeatedly persecuted because she appealed and told people the truth about Falun Dafa. In May 2003, she was again sentenced to four years because she distributed leaflets exposing the persecution, and was severely persecuted at the Chunxi Prison for Women. She was incarcerated in solitary confinement for a long time, and her family members were not allowed to visit her. Mr. Li Xingquan persisted in cultivating Falun Dafa, but because he bore such extreme psychological pressure for so long, he suffered from sudden apoplexy and passed away on June 16, 2005. -
Junior High Student from Shandong Province Is Expelled from School for Reading the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party
2005-06-3015 year old Ms Duan Xirong is a junior high school student in Shandong Province. Her teacher slapped her face for possessing a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Not only did she physically assault her, but the principal and the local 610 Office expelled her from school. Miss Duan Xirong's parents have been sent to a forced labour camp for refusing to renounce Falun Gong, and her mother is currently jailed at the Jinan Forced Labour Camp. -
Police from Chengdu City Arrest Ms Zhang Weihua, Her Husband and Her Mother - Her Father Passes Away Due to the Persecution
2005-06-29In May 2005 the police in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province arrested Falun Gong practitioner Ms Zhang Weihua, her husband, and her mother. Even her father, who does not practise Falun Gong, was affected. He passed away due to the persecution. After Zhang Weihua was detained, she had to start a hunger-strike to resist the persecution. The police attempted to force her to eat by beating her and cursing, but it was no use. They then sent many criminals to persuade her to eat. Seeing that Zhang did not listen to them, they force-fed her. -
Daqing Police Department Arrested Elderly Ms. Mu Yongxia and have Refused to Issue an ID to Her Son (Photos)

Police in Daqing City coerced Ms. Mu Yongxia into writing a Guarantee Statement to give up practising Falun Dafa with the threat of not issuing her son ID. Without a valid ID, it would be hard for her son to find a job. She was soon arrested and beaten badly by police. This is how they treated an innocent woman in her 60s. -
Practitioner Ms. Guan Shujuan Relentlessly Persecuted - Her Grief-stricken Teenage Son Commits Suicide
2005-06-29Ms. Guan Shujuan and has been abducted multiple times and sent to brainwashing classes, placed under house arrest or had money extorted by the police. In January 2001, Liaolan Town Police Station officials fabricated an excuse to secretly send Ms. Guan Shujuan to the Jinan City Forced Labour Camp to serve three years of forced labour. During that time period when Ms. Guan was serving the term, her fifteen-year-old son (not a practitioner) could not bear the injustice committed against his mother. He took poison and died on August 30, 2001. -
"610 Office" Personnel in Meizhou City Arrest Dafa Practitioners
2005-06-29At midnight on May 23, 2005, officials from the "610 Office" of Meizhou City, Guangdong Province broke into the home of practitioner Mr. Zeng Qinglin (who is over sixty years old). They ransacked his home and abducted him and his wife. Recently "610 Office" officials and police arrested many more practitioners. One time police went to a practitioner's home and asked him if Falun Dafa is good or not. If the answer was no, he would be released. Otherwise, he would be taken to a brainwashing class. -
Severe Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners in Guangyuan Jail
2005-06-28It was reported that under the order of the Sichuan Provincial Labour Camp Bureau, Guangyuan Jail launched a brutal persecution of steadfast Dafa practitioners. Mr. Xu Weidong did not obey the prison guard's orders, so he was hung up by handcuffs by a prison guard and was left in the pouring rain for two hours. Later, the chief of the fifth squadron and prison guards stripped off his clothes, leaving him in only his underwear. They then handcuffed him to an iron gate and forcefully put a prison uniform on him. Later Mr. Xu was dragged to the playground by criminal inmates. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Lin Shusen's Whereabouts Unknown After Beijing Police Arrested Him in May
2005-06-28At the beginning of May 2005, 32 year old Mr. Lin Shusen from Xicheng District, Beijing City went missing. His family has lost all contact with him for nearly one month. His family is located in Heilongjiang Province, a considerable distance from Beijing. They have tried very hard to locate him and have learned that he was arrested in Beijing. They are not sure whether he is alive or not. The family of Mr. Lin Shusen has called on all kind-hearted people in the world to extend a helping hand to stop this most evil persecution of Falun Gong. -
Twelve Falun Gong Practitioners from Shandong, Jilin, Hebei and Helongjiang Provinces Died Due to the Persecution
2005-06-28Ms. Wang Shuzheng, 63 years old, was a practitioner from Yitong County, Jilin Province. She began to practise Falun Dafa in April of 1996. After practising she no longer suffered from many of her illnesses. She was in good physical and mental health. After the persecution began on July 20, 1999, the police detained and interrogated Ms. Wang many times. She was kept away from home and from taking care of her husband, who had suffered a stroke and was an invalid. The police often searched her home. Her entire family was affected and under constant pressure. Due to the prolonged persecution, Ms Wang's illnesses recurred. She died in July of 2001. -
Sixteen Dafa Practitioners Died Due to the Persecution
2005-06-28Ms. Sun Jihua, 64 years old, was a Falun Gong practitioner from Hebei Province. She started to practise at the end of 1996 and recovered from all of her diseases. In October 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa, and the police arrested her. She was illegally held for more than ten days in a detention centre, and fined more than 1,000 yuan. After she returned home, officers from the local police station and the local community leaders visited her home and harassed her many times. She suddenly died in March 2002. -
Mrs Li Ling Died of Persecution Shortly After The United Nation's "Team for Investigating the Issue of Arbitrary Detention" Left China
2005-06-2751 year old Mrs. Li Ling peacefully appealed on behalf of Falun Dafa but was unjustly sentenced to one and a half years in prison. She was arrested again and was again unjustly sentenced to four years in prison. Li Ling was persecuted to death on November 17, 2004. Shortly before she was persecuted to death, from September 18th to the 30th, 2004, the United Nation's "Team for Investigating the Issue of Arbitrary Detention " came to China for an on-site inspection. At the time, Li Ling was suffering brutal torture and persecution, and the Chinese government not only lied about her condition, but also refused to arrange an interview between Lin Ling and the United Nation Investigation Team. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Cao Jinxian of Shanghai City Died Due to the Persecution
2005-06-2748 year old Ms. Cao Jinxian remained firm in her cultivation of Falun Dafa. Because of this, she was persecuted by the Shanghai City police. They sentenced her to a forced labour camp without any legal process, where she was tortured. After being granted medical parole, Ms. Cao was forced to become homeless in early 2005 to avoid being persecuted further. Later, the police arrested her and brought her back home, where they monitored her closely. Her health deteriorated from that time onwards. Cao Jinxian died on June 18, 2005.
