The Brutal Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners by Qian'an Police in Hebei Province

Almost all of the practitioners were beaten or verbally abused in the brainwashing centre. Guards stepped on practitioner Mr. Pang Wendong's head and slapped his face fiercely; Mr. Song Naiwen was tortured until he was unconscious. The practitioners were given only three tenths of a pound of food daily and, as a result, became very skinny. Not only were the practitioners relentlessly tortured, the CCP also pressured their families and told them to participate in beating practitioners. When practitioners held hunger strikes, guards force-fed them; the victims' noses and mouths bled when the guards forcibly inserted feeding tubes into the practitioners' stomachs. -
Ms. Jin Huizhen of Shanghai Sent to Qingpu Women's Forced Labour Camp

Ms. Jin Huizhen was taken into police custody on July 21st, 2007. When she arrived at the detention centre Ms. Jin's calves were black and blue, possibly from being kicked by the police On August 15th, she was sentenced to one year of forced labour on a charge of "distributing three pieces of Falun Gong materials. Other so-called "evidence" was the paper bag she left, containing--according to the authorities--125 pieces of leaflets exposing the persecution. According to her count, there were only 90 fliers. -
Yaan Prison in Sichuan Province Subjects Mou Qiang to Trauma and Inhuman Torture
2007-09-28In October 2000, Mr. Mou Qiang was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment and sent to Yaan Prison. When he was detained, a prison guard named Wu Yun tortured him, attempted to brainwash him, and violently force-fed him. Now, after suffering a month of physical and mental torture, Mr. Mou Qiang can barely move, his face has become pale and full of deep wrinkles, and his hair is completely grey even though he is only 35 years old. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Zhang Zhan'an Subjected to Persecution
2007-09-28On July 20th, 2007, police officers from the Security Division of the Lianshan District Police Department in Huludao City, Liaoning Province arrested Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Yue Peng, his father Mr. Yue Yunlin, Mr. Zhang Zhan'an, Ms. Li Xiuzhen, and her son Mr. Zhang Xin. Ms. Li Xiuzheng and Mr. Zhang Xin were released the same night that they were arrested. Mr. Zhang Zhan'an, Mr. Yue Peng and Mr. Yue Yunlin were held in a detention centre. Mr. Yue Yunlin was released 20 days later, covered with wounds. After his unlawful detention, Mr. Zhang became sick. He vomited continuously and could no longer hold down food. His body became emaciated. His family appealed for his release several times but were denied each time by the Division Deputy Director. -
Ms. Shang Yuqin and Ms. Ruan Jing in Jilin Province Tortured with Electric Batons by Guards
2007-09-28Ms. Shang Yuqin, 63, was tortured on July 9th, 2007 in Heizuizi Women's Forced Labour Camp in Jilin Province. Female brigade captain Wang Limei beat Shang Yuqin's entire body with an electric baton three times. Ruan Jing, 52, has been detained in Jilin Province Women's Forced Labour Camp since May 17th, 2006. On June 14th, 2007, she was tortured by female guard Yu Bo with an electric baton. Yu Bo beat Ruan Jing on the inner thigh and stomach continuously for more than ten minutes. -
Mr. Zhang Junan and His Wife, Cai Baoju, from Shenyang City Secretly Sentenced in Liaoning Province
2007-09-28Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Zhang Junan and his wife, Ms. Cai Baoju were arrested by Taoxian police officers on June 24th, 2007. It has been confirmed that they were secretly sentenced without their family being notified, they were not permitted a public trial with a defence lawyer, and they never admitted to any wrongdoing. Mr. Zhang Junan, who was born with polio, was sentenced to six months in prison and Ms. Cai Baoju to three and a half years. -
Older Practitioner Ms. Huang Dingyou Tortured to Death
2007-09-27In 2003 61-year-old Ms. Huang Dingyou was arrested when she appealed to the police for the release of another practitioner.In July 2007, authorities from the Guangdong Province Women's Prison called Ms. Huang Dingyou's family and asked them to take her home. Without informing any of her family members that she was in the last stages of leukaemia, the authorities got her family to sign the release form. On August 8th, less than one month after her release, Huang Dingyou passed away. -
Recent Cases of Persecution of Practitioners in Zhuanghe City, Liaoning Province
2007-09-27The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is preparing to hold its "Seventeenth Conference" on October 15th. Meanwhile, international voices of justice are appealing to the CCP to stop its human rights abuses prior to the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. However, all police stations, judicial bureaus, community Party councils, municipal governments, Party secretaries, public security sections, and other departments manipulated by the Party in Zhuanghe City, Liaoning Province have, under the CCP's top-down commands, begun harassing Falun Dafa practitioners and instigating manipulated civilians to report practitioners to authorities. As of this writing, several Falun Dafa practitioners have met with persecution. -
Nearly 400 Falun Dafa Practitioners Tortured at the Second Women's Forced Labour Camp in Shandong Province
2007-09-27Practitioners imprisoned in the Second Women's Forced Labour Camp are tortured and forced to perform hard labour. There are four brigades in the camp. The majority of people in these brigades are practitioners, and the rest are drug abusers and religious believers. The torture practitioners suffer is getting worse and the time to do slave labour is getting longer. Practitioners are forced to get up at 4 a.m. and begin to work at 5 a.m. until 10 p.m. But, sometimes they have to work until midnight or 1 a.m. The skin on practitioners' bottoms often ruptures and becomes infected because of sitting on hard stools. Cushions are not allowed. Guards will confiscate it and berate practitioners if they find one. The food is awful. Drug abusers don't eat that food. Slave labour has become more backbreaking, practitioners lack nutritious food and there are many practitioners who faint. -
Ms. Lin Daihong Abused and Critically Ill in Jiangyuan County Detention Centre, Jilin Province
2007-09-27On August 31st, 2007, Ms. Lin Daihong was arrested by police officers and detained in the Jiangyuan County Detention Centre. Her family continuously appealed to the Shiren Police Station and to the State Security Division of Jiangyuan County for her release, but they pushed responsibility back and forth. Meanwhile, the authorities of the Shiren Police Station tried to extort money from her family. On the afternoon of September 8th, Ms. Lin Daihong, who had been detained for nearly ten days, became critically ill due to mistreatment in the Jiangyuan County Detention Centre. In order to evade responsibility, the officers of the State Security Division called her family and asked them to bring her to the hospital for an infusion. Since Ms. Lin's family was short of money they had to bring her home. -
Panjin City National Security Bureau Officials Recently Arrested Many Falun Gong Practitioners
2007-09-26According to a preliminary investigation, numerous Falun Gong practitioners in Panjin City, Liaoning Province were recently arrested. Participating in the early morning arrests on August 30th, 2007 were officials from the National Security Bureau and local police stations. The practitioners were taken to the Panjin City Detention Centre in Shisanlipu. Two or more police cars were dispatched to each practitioner's home to carry out the arrests. These officials broke into Falun Gong practitioners' homes between 5:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. that morning, arrested the practitioners and ransacked their homes. They also took money and personal belongings. The police knew the exact location of computers, printers and other equipment, and they carried a list of names and addresses. -
Ms. Zhen Haiyan Arrested Again Just Fifteen Days After Her Husband Was Tortured to Death
2007-09-26On May 31st, 2007, Jiexi Police and 610 Office agents arrested Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Yang Yuxin and his wife, Ms. Zhen Haiyan. The couple had been married for only a month. Zhang Shibin pointed a handgun at Mr. Yang Yuxin's head while four or five agents carried him to a vehicle. The agents ransacked their home and took Mr. Yang and Ms. Zhen Haiyan to the Morin Dawa Prefecture Detention Centre. When Mr. Yang was being tortured in the detention centre, a relative went to visit him twice, but the detention centre administration refused to let him see Mr. Yang. They called his family only after Mr. Yang died. Mr. Yang's body had dark bruises under his neck, his mouth would not close, and both of his arms were crossed in front of his chest. -
Xie Linli and His Sister in Changsha City Have Not Been with Their Imprisoned Parents for the Past Eight Mid-Autumn Festivals

On July 14th, 2007, police in Changsha City arrested Ms. Tan Xiangyu and Mr. Xie Wutang. They have been detained for two months. The only reason for their arrest is because they practise Falun Gong and expose the truth of the persecution. It is nearing the Mid-Autumn Festival, and every family in Changsha City, Hunan Province, is busy ordering moon cakes and planning a dinner for their family gatherings. However, Xie Linli and his sister miss their parents a great deal, because their parents have again been unjustly imprisoned. -
I Suffered Four Years in the Prisons of Heilongjiang Province
2007-09-26I am a Falun Gong practitioner in Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province. Staff from the local police department arrested me in May 2002. They cuffed me to a metal chair and took turns interrogating me. I refused to answer their questions, so the police verbally abused me and threatened me. A police officer surnamed Zhang slapped my face and hit my head. Another policeman surnamed Xue from the local 610 Office kicked me fiercely when I refused to answer the questions in the way he demanded. In the evening, I was locked to the leg of a desk inside the conference room and forced to sit on the floor with my back straight. The police took one-hour shifts monitoring me for the entire night. I was locked onto a mental chair for two days at the police department. Later, I was sent to a local detention centre and was held there for almost three months. -
The Brutal Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners at Nanmusi Women's Forced Labour Camp in Sichuan Province
2007-09-25Because we cultivate Falun Dafa and believe in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance," we were arrested by police and sentenced to forced labour. The guards always discussed how to make us suffer more. Under their instigation, drug offenders or prostitutes did their best to torture practitioners in order to decrease their prison terms. Their ruthlessness went to extremes. Innocent practitioners were tortured every day with beatings, being handcuffed with their arms behind their back, being hung up while handcuffed, shocked with electric batons, tied up with ropes, tortured with the "tiger bench", splashed with dirty water or excrement, being forced to stand for long hours, not allowed to go to the toilet, were deprived of sleep, not allowed to brush their teeth or wash their face, and so on.
