Luan Fusheng's Life Is in Danger Due to Persecution; Qi County Jail in Shanxi Province Still Refuses to Release Him

55-year-old Mr. Luan Fusheng is imprisoned at Qi County Jail in Shanxi Province. Because of the cruel physical and mental torture and adverse living conditions in jail, Luan Fusheng's health condition has constantly worsened. Recently he was taken to hospital for emergency treatment. This is already the third time that the hospital has issued a critical condition notice for him, but the jail still refuses to release him with the excuse that releasing him on bail for medical treatment has not been approved yet. On July 7th, 2003, Wanbolin District Court in Taiyuan City sentenced Luan Fusheng to eleven years of imprisonment because he printed Falun Gong materials. -

2007-03-20On January 11th, 2007, Falun Dafa practitioners Piao Guangxun, Li Hongyuan, and Shen Xueshan from Chaoyang River in Yanbian State, Jilin Province were arrested while informing people about the true nature of Falun Gong in a countryside village. They were brutally interrogated at the Longmen Police Station. Falun Dafa practitioner Piao Guangxun could no longer move due to being beaten for an entire night. On January 12th, an older female Falun Dafa practitioner was arrested in a neighboring building. The police kicked and tortured this older woman until she lost consciousness and nearly died. One of her ribs and a toe were broken. The police also yelled, "To anyone who does not obey, we will have their organs harvested." They also shouted, "Why don't you die? Go to hell. We will say you died due to falling down the stairs yourself." -
Practitioner Ms. Ou Xiangyuan of Baoqing County, Heilongjiang Province Died from Torture in 2003

After the the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began to persecute Falun Dafa on July 20th, 1999, Ms. Ou Xiangyuan, 53, wanted to appeal for Dafa. Police officers arrested her on her way to Beijing in December 2000, and then detained her at Shanhaiguan Detention Centre. The guards shackled Ms. Ou's hands behind her back, then hung her from the ceiling by her hands until her limbs were numb and she lost consciousness. Ms. Ou lost consciousness many times from the torture she suffered. Then the police imprisoned her at home. Ms. Ou died in hospital on April 23rd, 2003. -
Doctor Approves Further Beatings After Practitioner Is Already Badly Injured
2007-03-20Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Lei Xin taught at the Taoxu Town Elementary School in Mengyin County, Shandong Province. She went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong at the end of 1999 and was arrested. . She was held at the Mengyin Detention Centre. Because Ms. Lei did the Falun Gong exercises she was forced to wear 80-lb shackles. She was arrested again in March 2000. Eight people took turns beating Ms. Lei and struck her to the ground several times. They forced her to remove her shoes and socks and stand barefoot on the floor before they continued the beating. A policeman dragged her to a doctor and asked him whether Lei Xin could tolerate more beating. Shockingly, the doctor said, "More beating is just fine!" -
The Thug-Like Behaviour of Train Station Policemen in Sanhe County, Hebei Province
2007-03-20Some practitioners and I went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Dafa in October 1999. The police authorities at the Sanhe County Train Station arrested us when we passed by. The policemen there intentionally verbally abused and beat the practitioners held there everyday. They unlawfully interrogated and tried to extract confessions from us. We were shocked with electric batons, and they confiscated our cash and identification. They performed illicit body searches on the female practitioners. Two male officers put the female practitioners in separate rooms, locked the doors, and drew down the window blinds. They forced us to take off our shoes and socks and our clothes down to our underwear. When they didn't find cash on us, they groped us over, molesting us thoroughly. -
After Recovering from Paralysis Through Practising Falun Gong, Mr. Jiao Meishan from Hebei Province is Detained and Persecuted for Almost One Year
2007-03-19Jiao Meishan, almost 60 years old, a staff member at the Shijiazhuang Casting Pipe Factory, Hebei Province, was paralysed during an accident at work. In September 1996 he started practising Falun Gong. After three months he was able to stand up and walk again. Since then, he has not spent any of his employer's money for medical costs. After the persecution of Falun Gong started in July 1999, the street office and police station frequently came to his home to harass him. Jiao Meishan was forced to leave home and became homeless. In March 2006 he was arrested by police and detained at the No. 2 Police Station in Shijiazhuang City. On November 30th a court hearing was held, and currently he is still detained. -
The Crimes Committed by Chen Jun from Qianjin Prison in Beijing
2007-03-19Practitioner Mr. Zhang Yanbin was imprisoned for eight years because he practises Falun Gong. Because he refused to cooperate with the unreasonable demands of the guards, he was forced to sit for over 20 hours every day. He could only sleep for one or two hours a day, and the guards often woke him up. He was tortured close to insanity. When the prison guards used brainwashing tactics on Mr. Zhang, he would not cooperate. Chen Jun slapped him on the face and prison guard Meng Fanguo poured a glass of hot tea on his face. Some prisoners lifted him up by his head and feet, and then forcefully hit his buttocks onto the ground. Sometimes, one prisoner would hold his legs, another would hold his body, and a third would use a tooth brush to roughly brush his private parts. -
The Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in Weiyuan County, Sichuan Province
2007-03-19Miu Yongli and the head of the Gaoshi Township, Li Gang, lured Tang Yichun from Hefeng Village, Gaoshi Township, by promising 200 yuan and reimbursement of medical expenses, to frame Falun Gong. They took her to a place called Zhimapu, located on the highway linking Gaoshi and Weiyuan Counties, some 400 metres from her house. They told her to dance for joy and shout, "I became insane as a result of practising Falun Gong." At the time Tang Yichun had been insane for 25 years. This act was videotaped and broadcast by the Weiyuan County TV Station. The repeated broadcast created a very bad impression and poisoned the minds of 700,000 people in the neighbouring counties and cities, including Neijiang, Zigong, Leshan, Ziyang and Chengdu. They wanted to incite hatred against Falun Dafa and its founder Mr. Li Hongzhi. -
Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Gao Weiling of Beijing Has Been Detained by Shunyi County Police for Six Months
2007-03-19National Security officers and a gang of policemen, suddenly surrounded the home of practitioner Ms. Gao Weiling. This happened on August 31st, 2006. Because Ms. Gao and her husband (a non-practitioner) refused to open the door, Xiao Changjun found someone from the local community office and pried open their door in broad daylight. They arrested Ms. Gao and confiscated many items from their home. The police first sent Ms. Gao to the Shunyi Brainwashing Centre. They planned to forcefully "reform" her, but they failed. Then they sent her to the Nihe Detention Centre. -
Mr. Zeng Zhizhong Severely Mistreated at Jinshi Prison in Changde, Hunan Province
2007-03-19Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zeng Zhizhong has been severely beaten since he was detained October 2005 at Jinshi Prison in Changde, Hunan Province. The guards have made things difficult for him. He was insulted and forced to lick sputum off the floor. Mr. Zeng worked in the wool fabrication workshop continuously for over 12 hours. Guard Liu Yanbo (male) beat him many times and made trouble for him. He was not allowed to wear a mask even when there was a lot of dust. Wang Lin (male), the leader of the group did not allow him to use the toilet except during breaks. On February 15th, 2007, his mouth became swollen when Luo Qingwu (the leader of the guards) beat him. The head of the group, Tian Yubao (male) who is very evil, ran over and severely kicked Mr. Zeng, who then fell to the floor. -
Heilongjiang Province Hulan Prison Plots to Harvest Organs from a Live Practitioner
2007-03-18Practitioner Mr. Zhu Lijun was detained in Hulan Prison in Harbin City. In January 2007, Mr. Zhu was hospitalised due to illness symptoms. Then, without any warning, a nurse told him that that he would be taken to a doctor outside the prison. Mr. Zhu was carried up and down many stairs. He remembers that the place was not a regular clinic and he had the strangest feeling that they were preparing his death! They put him in a room. It seemed that they were preparing him for surgery. Suddenly he realised that they were going to remove his organs while he was still alive. With a strength that came from the unknown, Mr. Zhu suddenly shouted at them, "What are you doing? I believe there are still good people in this world. Good people don't do this kind of heartless thing." When Mr. Zhu Lijun repeated his words, Chen Weiqiang said, "Didn't we stop?" -
Urgent Call to Rescue Practitioners Mr. Zhao Hua and Ms. Ye Hongmei from Fuxin, Liaoning Province
2007-03-18Mr. Zhao Hua is being jailed in the No. 2 Prison of Dabei Prison in Shenyang City. Currently, Mr. Zhao has been on a hunger strike for 43 days to protest this persecution. The director of the prison hospital has already issued a notice to Mr. Zhao's family that he is critically ill. It is said that he has been transferred from the prison hospital to the local hospital, and the hospital told Mr. Zhao's family to pay for high protein injections. His family did not agree to this and demanded his release. Dabei Prison has already reported Zhao Hua's situation to the Prison Administrative Bureau, the Provincial Public Security Bureau, and the Judicial Bureau. -
Ms. Xuan Hehua from Yuanlin County, Hunan Province Forced to Become Homeless
2007-03-18In July 2005, Ms. Xuan Hehua, 55 years old, was arrested by local police when she was distributing leaflets exposing the persecution and was held in the local detention centre for 15 days. In March 2006, Ms. Xuan was reported to the police when she sent the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to officials of her work unit. On May 16th, 2006, police got Ms. Xuan out of her bed to arrest her. She received a suspended trial and an announcement that the local prosecutor was suing her four months later. -
Crimes Committed inside Nanmusi Women's Forced Labour Camp in Zizhong City, Sichuan Province
2007-03-18There are five types of labour practitioners are forced to do: embroidering flowers on fabric (such as bedsheets, curtains, and table cloths); b. making toys; making ornamental items for clothes; making artificial pig hairs; and carrying and transporting goods (to and from the trucks). Every person has a fixed amount of labour they must perform, and they are not allowed to stop or sleep until it is finished. If they finish early, they must help those who are slower. Works starts at 7:30 a.m., and finishes at 11:00 p.m. (in 2005 it was even worse - they got off work every day at 2:00 a.m.). Even taking out an hour and a half for the three daily meals, the amount of time worked each day is as many as 13.5 to 15 hours. -
Jilin Prison Fabricates Excuses to Rampantly Persecute Falun Dafa Practitioners
2007-03-17Lei Ming was twice placed under "strict control" in the Jilin Prison. The first "strict control" lasted three months. He was locked on the "Dead Man's Bed" (the bed is flexible, it can be extended in length until the person on the bed loses his limbs). Lei Ming's body was stretched. His feet became disabled and he then walked with a limp. On March 20th, 2004, Lei Ming was again sent to the Dead Man's Bed. He firmly believed in Falun Dafa and didn't yield. The prison guards locked him up for more than six months. After Lei Ming was released from the detention cell, his life was in great danger. He was released on bail for medical treatment. Lei Ming died on August 6th, 2006.
