Tears and Blood of Dalian: The Persecution of Dafa Practitioner Ms. Sun Yan (Photos) (Part 3)

After enduring inhumane physical tortures and mental torment, Sun Yan still persisted in her Falun Gong practice. She was held in the Longshan Forced Labour Camp. On March 22nd, 2004, a Dafa-slandering meeting was held. One female practitioner, Gao Rongrong, refused to attend and was brutally tortured. Sun Yan tried to stop the beating. A guard immediately punched Sun Yan near the eyes. Her eyes became red and swollen and later turned black and blue. Sun Yan and Gao Rongrong were held in the same cell at the Longshan Labour Camp. Gao Rongrong's face was left disfigured when guards shocked her with electric batons. Sun Yan's face was also shocked with electric batons. -
Mr. Li Wenjun Sent to a Forced Labour Camp and Tortured, All Appeals Denied
2005-10-30In April 2004, police officers fabricated evidence against Li Wenjun and sentenced him to three years in the Jiutai City Yinmahe Forced Labour Camp. While incarcerated, Li repeatedly went on hunger strike to protest the persecution. His health was severely damaged as a result. Although his elderly family has approached the justice department to request freedom for Li Wenjun, the justice department and the government organisations keep shirking their responsibility and endlessly shift the responsibility to each other. -
How Are the Political and Judiciary Committee and 610 Office in Laizhou City Building a "Harmonious Society"?
2005-10-30Mr. Zhao Facheng and Ms. Ren Zhifang, Falun Dafa practitioners were arrested and detained by the 610 Office for distributing leaflets exposing the persecution on May 4th, 2005. During their detention, the 610 personnel interrogated them many times to find out their source of leaflets. Ms. Ren was detained for as long as three months and was persecuted both physically and spiritually. In early August 2005, she had a distended abdomen. The Chinese Communist Party and Jiang Zemin's regime recklessly violate human rights and persecute kind Falun Gong practitioners. At the same time, they lie to the general public, saying that they will build a so-called "harmonious society." -
Products Made With Slave Labour - Colourful Lanterns at the Zhongba Forced Labour Camp in Guizhou Province
2005-10-30There are seven brigades at the Zhongba Forced Labour Camp, each of which makes slave labour products. "Slave labour" here refers to the fact that the guards in the labour camp use brutality to force the prisoners to manufacture products under adverse conditions. At present, the slave labour products made in the Zhongba Forced Labour Camp include polished man-made crystal gems, various kinds of colourful lanterns, and electronic products. Prisoners must work about 16 hours every day. Those not completing their production tasks receive various kinds of corporal punishments, are subjected to barbaric torture, or have their terms in the labour camp extended. -
Mr. Zhang Xiangfu Dies As a Result of Torture in the Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp
2005-10-29Mr. Fang Xiangfu was a 33-year-old practitioner from Heilongjiang Province. Police arrested and tortured him many times because he practised Falun Gong. In 2002, police and 610 Office sent him to Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp, where guards tortured him, using over 20 torture methods. As a result, seven ribs and chest bones were broken, his skull was injured and the backs of his hands were scorched. The guards invented a torture to increase his suffering. They shot needles from a homemade gun at practitioners. The needles went deep into the flesh and caused excruciating pain. As a result of the brutal torture, Mr. Zhang died on October 15th, 2005. -
Four Dafa Practitioners from Heilongjiang and Henan Provinces Pass Away As A Result of Persecution
2005-10-29Ms. Bao Yuzhen was 66 years old. After the persecution began in 1999, together with her daughter and son-in-law, she went out to appeal and tell people the truth about Falun Dafa. They were stopped by police at the bus station and sent back. Ms. Bao escaped, but her son-in-law was captured. Afterwards, her son-in-law was arrested twice consecutively and was held in jail longer than the law allowed. Ms. Bao's body and mind suffered tremendously. Her diabetes recurred, and she suffered a cerebral hemorrhage. After witnessing the thug-like conduct of the police, living in extreme fear for a prolonged period of time, and suffering from the loneliness of a broken family, Ms. Bao passed away in the winter of 2002. -
Severe Persecution Cases of Several Women Practitioners in the Wangcun Forced Labour Camp in Shandong Province
2005-10-29Ms. Li Ping is over 50 years old and was sentenced to forced labour on September 30th, 2004. She suffered unimaginable tortures at that camp for assertively refusing to give up Falun Dafa. In a one-month period, Ms. Li was permitted only three nights' sleep. During the daytime she was forced to sit on a small backless stool and at night she was punished by having to stand for long hours. Because of long-term lack of sleep she frequently fell down while standing, often injuring her face and head. After long-term physical torture and extreme pressure and mental torment from threats and intimidation, Li Ping suffered a mental collapse. Now she keeps saying, "What crime have I committed? All I did is just practise qigong." -
Masanjia Forced Labour Camp Has Thrown Female Practitioners into Cells with Male Criminals at Least Three Times
2005-10-29"I am a Falun Gong practitioner who has been held in Masanjia Forced Labour Camp many times. When I was at home, I learned that many people knew about the 18 female practitioners imprisoned at Masanjia who were stripped of their clothing and thrown into male criminal cells. That case was widely publicised. But it did not just happen once; it happened at least three times. At another time, the police took ten female practitioners to Zhangshi Training House. They stripped nine of the ten practitioners and threw them into a cell with men. Another time they stripped four female practitioners and forced them into the men's cells." -
The Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners at the Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp in Changchun City, Part 1
2005-10-28To destroy people's will, the Chaoyangou Forced Labour Camp has tortured kind people in the most vicious ways, making it the chief place in the province for the violation of human rights. Details of methods of abuse and mistreatment include inciting prisoners by means of rewards and promises of reduction of their prison terms if they openly beat practitioners. They also include using torture, recklessly maltreating practitioners, forcing practitioners to work beyond their capacities, long-term sleep deprivation and forcing practitioners to write a guarantee statement to give up their belief. -
Over 50 Ms Zhao Huiru from Shenyang Dies as a Result of Persecution
2005-10-28Falun Dafa practitioner Zhao Huiru, who was in her 50s, was repeatedly subjected to illegal detainment and torture. As a result of the beatings one of Zhao Huiru's fingers on her right hand was broken, large locks of her hair were pulled out, her clothing was soaked with blood and she couldn't walk. After a few months of treatment in the hospital she was taken home by her family. By that time, her hair had turned completely white. The torture caused her to not be able to walk normally, to not be able to focus her eyes, drool constantly and become absent minded. She passed away on September 7th, 2005. -
610 Office Has Falun Gong Practitioners Tortured at Shengli Oil Field Hospital's Mental Illness Department
2005-10-28At the Shengli Hospital some staff members have used the mental illness department to torture Falun Gong practitioners over the past six years. The medical staff at the mental illness department falsely diagnosed practitioners as having mental problems, and then put them together with real mental patients and subjected them to "treatment." Using medication to torture practitioners, they hope to "transform" them into real mental patients. These doctors forced practitioners to wear white clothes and white hats while some nurses forced them to take drugs and receive injections every day. They wanted to destroy practitioners' bodies with the unidentified drugs. -
Three Falun Dafa Practitioners in Sichuan and Henan Provinces Die Due to Persecution
2005-10-2850-year-old Ms. Liu Renshu lived in Sichuan Province. In July 2000, police ransacked her home, detained her for more than fifty days because they found a copy of the Falun Dafa book Zhuan Falun, and extorted three thousand yuan from her. Later, police and lawless officials continually harassed her at home, threatened her, and caused huge mental and physical pressure. She died on January 2nd, 2003. -
A Mother Dies Alone While Her Son is in Prison
2005-10-27We heard in April 2005 that Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Huzhe from Jilin Province was tortured until he was very weak and could not take care of himself. In the middle of September, Mr. Li's over seventy year old mother wept a lot because she missed her son and because she was blind she could not go visit him. She died in her home. Her decomposed body was found many days later, with her fists clenched tight. It was a tragic scene, as it was obvious that she died in great pain. -
Mr. Wang Shaoqing from Shandong Province Died After Being Tortured in Mental Hospital
2005-10-2742-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Shaoqing was tortured in the Wangcun Labour Camp for two years. Falun Dafa practitioners were forced to get up early in the morning at around 5:30 a.m., and had to labour until 10 p.m., except for meal times, which were as short as a little over ten minutes. Mr. Wang Shaoqing protested and requested the authorities to reduce the labour time and improve the living conditions. As a result, prison guards handcuffed him, hung him up by the handcuffs, and tried to force him to "admit his mistakes." He was arrested again and tortured in a mental hospital for a year. It caused him to have a nervous breakdown, and he died in July 2005. -
Three Falun Dafa Practitioners in Jilin and Liaoning Provinces Die as a Result of Persecution
2005-10-27Ms. Zhao Shufen, 55, was a Falun Dafa practitioner from Liaoning Province. She learned Falun Dafa in 1997. She used to have high blood pressure and could not take care of herself, but was cured after cultivating Falun Dafa. She went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong after the illegal persecution started in 1999. She was detained in the Shenyang City Detention Centre, and later was detained in the Dongguan Township Police Station. She was constantly harassed by the authorities, placing huge mental pressure on her. She died on September 10th, 2005.
