Exposing the Inhumanity of the Luotai Villa Provincial Brainwashing Centre in Fushun City (Photo)

The Liaoning Provincial government gave the Luotai Villa Provincial Brainwashing Centre in Fushun City 1.4 million yuan ($171,000). It is used to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. To deceive the public, this brainwashing centre is called the "Liaoning Provincial Caring and Loving Centre" or the "Fushun Municipal Legal Education Centre." It has been expanded in scale several times after the first session was launched in March 2003. -
Crimes Committed in the Xinkaipu Forced Labour Camp
2005-10-23All Falun Dafa practitioners sent to Xinkaipu Labour Camp in Hunan Province are forced to take off all their clothes and are searched as soon as they arrive. They are then immediately isolated. If the practitioner goes on a hunger strike to resist the persecution, guards order the monitors to tie the practitioner to the operation table in the clinic. Dr. Yu in the labour camp then pries open his mouth with an expander. He turns the screw rods to hold the jaws open. Then he clamps the practitioner's tongue with a surgery grip. He inserts a bamboo tube into the mouth, and fills it with fluid, such as gruel or soup mixed with the rhizome of Chinese goldthread, an herb that tastes extremely bitter, salt or chilli powder. -
Lawless Officials from Shandong Province Arrest Many Falun Dafa Practitioners
2005-10-22Recently, Diao Dechang of the Police Bureau of Luancheng City, was appointed director of the police bureau in Guan County, Shandong Province. He has declared publicly that he will eradicate Falun Gong. He said that the whole county would work together to "meet, visit, register, search, and arrest" Falun Dafa practitioners (especially those who had previously been arrested or sentenced) during the October 1st holiday. -
Six-Year Persecution of Practitioner Ms. Zhang Jingyu From Hubei Province
2005-10-22Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Jingyu was persecuted numerous times during the last six years. She whas been detained seven times in this period, each time tortured and treated in the most inhuman way. When she went on a hunger strike to protest the unjust treatment she was brutally force-fed by several men. They slapped her with such brute force that her face turned red. Eventually they were able to insert the tube. They force-fed her the same way in the following days. The tube scarred her throat and caused great pain. -
Female Practitioner Mentally Disabled Due to Persecution in the Jiamusi Forced Labour Camp
2005-10-2249-year-old Ms. Sun Shujie, a Falun Gong practitioner from Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province was sentenced to forced labour again in 2002. Because of the violence from torture and from brainwashing, she is now mentally disabled. In spite of her condition, the policemen still forced her to work. They also kept verbally abusing and slandering her, making her mental state much worse. Once, when she was doing chores in the workshop, she picked up scissors, trying to slash her own throat. -
Practitioner Dismissed from Yunnan University without Cause
2005-10-22"I began working toward an MA in Legal Science in 2002 as a part-time graduate student at Yunnan University. On September 28th, 2005, because I practise Falun Dafa, I received a Decision (Yunnan University Graduate School Document no 8, 2005) to dismiss me from the Yunnan University. The document was sent by my teacher in the Legal Science Institute. I am not aware of any rules or regulations that would lead to my dismissal. According to General University Student Management Regulations, article 56, 58 and 61, I appealed my case to Yunnan University. Please take back such an unreasonable decision, so that I can finish my studies." -
A Woman's Breasts Disfigured and Infected from Severe Electric Shock Torture by Masanjia Forced Labour Camp Guards (Photos)
2005-10-21Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Yunjie's breasts were horrifically disfigured and infected as a result of long-term torture, which included being tied up, hung up and shocked with electric batons. It was difficult to look at her and see her suffering. The long periods of torture took a severe toll on Ms. Wang's health. Although she had become extremely frail, she had to do forced labour. She was forced to make handcrafts for export, such as paper flowers. Finally, Ms. Wang gained her release. Later her family found out that the camp staff believed that she had only two months to live. -
Cruel Tortures in the Women's Forced Labour Camp of Hohhot, Ms. Zhang Yuhua Suffers Mental Collapse
2005-10-21In the Women's Forced Labour Camp of Hohhot, guards force Falun Dafa practitioners to stand for several days, lock them in solitary confinement, forbid them from going to the toilet or washing or brushing their teeth, and deprive them of sleep. If these tortures do not change practitioners' minds, the guards coerce inmates to torture practitioners day and night. Inmates cuff practitioners' hands behind their backs and hang them up so that the tips of their feet barely touch the floor. This torture is named "riding an airplane." -
Ms. Zhang Xinyi from Hunan Province Unjustly Sentenced to Three Year Prison Term
2005-10-21It has been reported that after 51-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Xinyi was secretly tried on August 4th 2005, she was sentenced to three years in prison by the Tianxin District Court in Changsha City. The reasons for Ms. Zhang's sentence are as follows: she was caught on two occasions distributing leaflets exposing the persecution about Falun Gong and the police found leaflets at her home. Ms Zhang was sued for violating criminal law article 300 and the so-called "obstruction of criminal law." -
Authorities at Gaoyang Forced Labour Camp Brutally Persecute Ms. Ding Shumei from Hebei Province
2005-10-21On August 10th 2005, officers from the Xhanhua Police Department arrested Ms. Ding Shumei, a Falun Dafa practitioner. Without a warrant, they sent her directly to the Gaoyang Forced Labour Camp. Since Ms. Ding refused to cooperate after the arrest, they beat and tortured her with electric batons. To protest the persecution, Ms. Ding held a hunger strike. In return, the authorities brutally force-fed her. Currently Ms. Ding is in an extremely weak physical condition. We appeal to all kind-hearted people to pay attention to Ms. Ding's situation. -
Policeman Han Xinlei Murdered Due to Openly Withdrawing From the CCP
2005-10-20On September 9th 2005, policeman Han Xinlei of Xi'an City Police Department in Shaanxi Province was murdered because he openly declared that he was withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) by written declaration. Mr. Han Xinlei's parents and grandparents are all living under terror of the CCP right now. Mr. Han's family members are all working in the Police Department, but the CCP is not letting them live in peace. -
Four Practitioners from Shandong, Jilin, and Hebei Provinces Died After Suffering Persecution
2005-10-20Ms. Yan Guoping was around 45 years old. She was a librarian at Hebei Jingmao University. In May 2002 people from her work place and the police from the local police station "arrested" her and sent her to the notorious Hebei Province Legal System Education Centre to be brainwashed. Under pressure, she stopped cultivating Falun Gong and developed kidney cancer, which quickly spread. Even though she had given in to the brainwashing, people from the local police station and residents' committee still came to her home to harass and exert pressure on her while she was undergoing treatment. Ms. Yan Guoping died in the autumn of 2002. -
Four More Cases of Falun Dafa Practitioners Being Persecuted to Death in Guangdong, Liaoning, and Sichuan Provinces
2005-10-2058-year-old Mr. Gong Jinyin, 58, lived in Sichuan Province. In January 2001, Gong went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Dafa. As a result, he was arrested and sentenced to two and a half years of forced labour without proper legal trials. On February 2nd 2001, the local police took Gong Jinyin to the Xinhua Forced Labour Camp, where he was brutally beaten. A prisoner repeatedly stabbed Gong's thigh with sharpened bamboo sticks, causing permanent damage to his leg. Despite the fact that these actions are illegal, the camp officer on duty simply turned a blind eye to the whole affair. In June 2002, Gong was released to go home, but he died on February 8th 2003 of poor health induced by torture he suffered while in detention. -
Father Confined In Brainwashing Centre After Over Three Years of Forced Labour, Daughter Forced to Quit School
2005-10-20Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Guoli lives in a village in Inner-Mongolia Autonomous Region. After being tortured for three and a half years in a forced labour camp and his body bears the scars. He is now locked in a brainwashing centre. His daughter had to quit school in 2002 when she was only 14 years old, despite the fact that her grades were excellent. -
The Persecution of Ms. Cheng Aiyang's Family in Shenzhen City
2005-10-19Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Cheng Aiyang, 40 years old, is a kindhearted housewife, who started cultivating Falun Dafa in 1998. She attained a healthy body, and became a good person by following Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance. After the brutal persecution to Falun Gong started on July 20th 1999, she and her husband endured numerous hardships. They were both sentenced to forced labour just because they kept practising Falun Gong. The apartment allocated to them by her husband's workplace was taken away, her husband lost his job, and their daughter was forced to become homeless.
