More Facts about the Persecution and Death of Schoolteacher Ms Hou Youfang from Gansu Province

On one occasion she escaped but didn't make it far. A policewoman immediately beat her so hard that Ms. Hou could no longer stand. When Ms. Hou Youfang was carried back to Team 2, she screamed in pain, "It hurts so badly. My arms and legs have been broken!" Not long after the police officers carried her to the labour camp hospital. The police took Ms. Hou to the hospital, planning to destroy the evidence. -
Practitioner Ms Wang Aihua from Chongqing City Is Imprisoned
2005-07-20On the evening of June 30, 2005, practitioner Wang Aihua was arrested when she was distributing leaflets exposing the persecution. The police searched her home and took away two computers (one was newly bought for her child's studies), Falun Dafa books and other materials. Her daughter was left at home with an eighty-year-old grandparent. Wang Aihua is currently detained at the detention centre in Chongqing City. -
Ms Rao Mianhua Arrested Again After Being Paralysed as a Result of the Persecution
2005-07-20Ms. Rao Mianhua, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Hubei Province, was blinded and paralysed as a result of the persecution, and now relies on a wheelchair to move around. Even in this condition, the local police officers often harass her at her home. Recently, they arrested her in mid-June. After five days on a hunger strike, she was released in an emaciated state. -

2005-07-19An insider from the Jinqiao Public Security Bureau in Dashi City, Liaoning Province, recently revealed how practitioner Ms. Su Jingyan died. On August 21st, 2001, Ms. Su Jingyan was distributing leaflets exposing the persecution when local police arrested, tortured and interrogated her. After she was beaten to death, her body was thrown into a local pond, making it look like an accidental drowning. -
Savage Torture Methods at the Shandong No. 2 Forced Labour Camp: the So-called "Five Passes"
2005-07-19I was arrested in 2002 and locked up in the Shandong No. 2 Forced Labour Camp for three years and three months. Because I didn't give up practising Falun Dafa or stop believing in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," I was ruthlessly tortured as a "key" person with sleep deprivation, sitting on a narrow bench, hung up by handcuffs, beaten and brainwashing. I escaped death many times, but even now, I still tremble when recalling those experiences. -

2005-07-1969-year-old Ms. Cao Guimei lived in Liaoning Province. Between July of 1999 and December of 2000, she was arrested twice and tortured at Longshan Forced Labour Camp. She went on a more than 40-day hunger strike and the guards repeatebly force-fed her with highly concentrated salt water. Afterwards, Ms. Cao could not stop coughing and vomited blood for a month. She became emaciated. The authorities finally released Ms. Cao who then died at the end of 2002. -
Twelve Practitioners in Tianjin, Shangdong and Liaoning Provinces Died Due to the Persecution
2005-07-19Mr. Hu insisted on practising even after the government suppression of Falun Gong began. He was ordered to the police station to talk about his "realisation of Falun Gong." He went to Beijing in July of 2000 to tell people about the goodness of Falun Dafa and was detained for half a month. From February 28th to March 15th, 2001, Mr. Hu was detained at a farm, where he was brainwashed and persecuted. Mr. Hu got a high fever from the harsh treatment but was not allowed to go home. In May of 2001, because of the great mental pressure and having no way to live since his salary had been suspended, Mr. Hu became ill, fell down, and never got up again. -
Ms. Zhang Xiaoli and Her Family Suffer Brutal Persecution in Hebei Province
2005-07-18Ms Zhang Xiaoli is critically ill and extremely weak due to persecution in Balizhuang Forced Labour Camp. She has been examined in hospital and found to have tumours in her abdomen and uterus. One is as big as a goose egg, and another one is as big as an egg. She also has a cyst in her ovary. She cannot eat; if she does, she will vomit. Ms. Zhang has become so emaciated that she now weighs just 100 pounds. The doctor in the No. 252 Hospital suggested that she be treated outside of the labour camp; however, Baoding City Balizhuang Labour Camp has shown no concern for her life at all and they refuse to let her go. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms Yan Xiaoge from Hebei Province, Abducted and Persecuted, Her 12-year-old Daughter Suffers Intimidation from Police
2005-07-18On June 29, 2005, the 12-year-old daughter of Falun Dafa practitioner Yan Xiaoge from Li County, Hebei Province was waiting for some delicious food to be brought by her mother after she completed the elementary school graduate exam. But her mother didn't arrive. Instead, the police came and banged on the door. The daughter spent a fearful night at home, alone. Upon seeing the strangers outside the door, she was so frightened that she curled up in the corner of the room, trembling. She didn't dare to open the door. Whenever the police banged on the door, the child recoiled with fear. She still didn't know her mother had been arrested. The young girl had to silently weep alone for an entire night. -
The Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioner Wang Jianfu's Family in Beijing: Husband Imprisoned, Wife Mentally Traumatized
2005-07-18Without any evidence and despite her daughter having no one else to look after her, the police incarcerated her mother in the police station for as long as a week. Zhang Zhiyun protested with a hunger strike and the police then had to release her; however, they still kept harassing her. The severe hardships in her life and the long-term harassment from the police traumatized Ms. Zhang, which eventually led to her mental collapse. -
Update on the Atrocities at the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp
2005-07-18On May 14, 2005, Masanjia Forced Labour Camp Team Leader Shi beat Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhu Yun, who had been on hunger strike for one year. Shi was drunk and hit Ms. Zhu's head and slapped her repeatedly until she lost consciousness and collapsed on the ground. After she came to, Ms. Zhu discovered the guards had covered the mirror in the toilet with paper so she could not see herself. According to witnesses, her eyes were bloodshot and her face was seriously swollen and deformed. -
Practitioners Tortured with "Life Tiger Bench" Technique and Dragged Behind Moving Vehicles
2005-07-17Ms. Xi Liying, a woman over 60 years old was continually tortured by police. She was forced to sit on the "life tiger bench," a torture method in which a person's hands are bound behind the back, using rope to tie the forearms. The person is then suspended by the rope from a high iron frame, so the toes barely touch the floor. The feet are then bound together with a rope which is pulled by several police, so the victim hangs in the air. Then another rope binds the victim's waist, with the other end secured to the floor. With several guards pulling the feet, the person's suspended body is bent into a right angle, like the posture of sitting on the tiger bench. Ms. Li lost consciousness several times during this torture. They would then take her down so she could be doused with cold water from head to toe. After she was revived, the guards would resume their torture. -
Ms. Chen Guoxiang, a 70-year-old Practitioner, Died Due to the Persecution
2005-07-17Ms. Chen Guoxiang was a 70-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner. After the persecution of Falun Dafa started, although she was illiterate, could not speak clearly and had never gone far from home, Chen Guoxiang travelled to Tiananmen Square in Beijing by herself around December 8, 1999, to appeal for Dafa and tell people about the goodness of Falun Dafa. She was arrested on the outskirts of the city and detained in Beijing. She was beaten, made to suffer freezing cold weather and was forced to stand for extended periods of time. After she was released she was forbidden to return to her daughter's house, who had been arrested and tortured for practising Falun Gong, and was harassed frequently by police. She suffered terrible mental strain, the magnitude of which is hard to image. In the early morning of May 21, 2005, the elderly Mrs. Chen fell over suddenly while on the toilet and slipped into a deep coma. A week later, she died. -

And there are some people who became enemies of the honourable, thus ruining their futures forever. I wish that all mankind would protect goodness and maintain their most precious thing in life - their conscience. Telling people about the goodness of Falun Dafa is not meant to create hatred towards the perpetrators, but instead, is meant to bring people a brighter future." -
Dafa Practitioner An Fengbo Sentenced - His Family Has No Way to Appeal

In 2001, Mr An Fengbo was sentenced to a two-year labour camp term in Jiutai Yinmahe Forced Labour Camp for practising Falun Gong. He suffered inhuman tortures and abuses by police and inmates. He lost all his front teeth from being savagely kicked in the mouth. He never gave in to the evildoers and continued to firmly appeal for Dafa.
