  Without waiting until we swallowed the salt water, Xu Changbao would again force-feed us with another bowl of extremely salty water causing us to cough and vomit. I used my tongue to block out the salt water and vomited it out. He became very angry seeing me vomit and continued forcing me to drink the salt water and shouted, "force-feed them to death and let's see if they want to eat or not!" My neck, cotton jacket, and the clothes I was wearing became all wet, causing me to become extremely cold. Due to not eating for several days, my stomach felt very uncomfortable as if it was burning from the salt water. We had to suffer this kind of force-feeding every day.

• Hengshui City Detention Centre Chief Viciously Beat Dafa Practitioners

  After that, the detention centre guards kept mercilessly beating practitioners one by one for a whole day (except lunch time). At that time, I counted that only three among all the 28 Falun Gong practitioners had not been beaten mercilessly. The other 25 were all savagely beaten by Geng Zhanwu, then by Guo Yangying and Li Jinliang. The next morning, Geng ordered policeman Gao to brutally beat Ms. Liu Shujun, breaking her ribs. A female practitioner (Zhang Yongli's mother, who was in her 50s) vomited after the brutal beatings, but her hands were still cuffed behind the back. As a result, she urinated in her pants. After a female practitioner was beaten for a while, I began to count the beating sound of the police baton. When the policeman stopped, I had counted 396 blows.

• Kaifeng City Detention Centre Guards Force Practitioners to Meditate on Snow-Covered Ground in Freezing Weather

  Shortly after 8:00 P.M. on February 8, 2000, guards at the Kaifeng City Detention Centre in Henan Province yelled, "Falun Gong! Come out and practise your exercises!" It was freezing cold, with bone-chilling winds. Policemen poured basins of water on the snow-covered ground and then forced practitioners, barefoot and dressed only in underwear, to meditate on the ground. Some were even forced to sit on the snow bank by a wall. The guards didn't even spare practitioners who were having their periods.

• Shuanghe Labour Camp in Heilongjiang Province Purchases 80 Torture Chairs

  They allow persecutors to take turns to hound those who have not given up their beliefs. Sometimes, they harass the practitioners until late into the night, and the practitioners are not permitted to interact with anyone else during that time. They supervise the practitioners 24 hours a day, and force them to watch videos that defame and slander Dafa. If the practitioners refuse to cooperate, they are tortured using various tools, such as metal torture chairs, until they give in. This summer, the Shuanghe Labour Camp purchased 80 of these chairs.

Up until November 15, 2003, ninety-four deaths of Falun Gong practitioners were verified, which placed the death toll in Shandong the 3rd highest nationwide...The main agencies involved in persecuting Falun Gong in Shandong Province are the "Leadership Team to Deal with Falun Gong Problem" in Shandong Province Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Committee and its long-term standing work office "610 Office," whose corresponding government agency is "The Office of Preventing and Handling the Evil Cult Problem." Starting from the second half of 2002, its formal name released to outside changed to "Provincial Leadership Team for Maintaining Stability" under the Shandong Province CCP Committee.

• Wuxue City Prison Hospital Administer Brutal Force-Feeding to Dafa Practitioner

  Mr. Liao Yuanhua was arrested in 2000. After he was detained in Wuxue City prison for more than one year, he was sentenced and sent to Shayang, where he suffered inhuman abuses. In October 2003, when some officials visited Mr. Liao in the prison hospital, they showed him fliers describing the inhuman abuses he and other Falun Gong practitioners suffered. Mr. Liao read through the flier carefully and said, "These things are all true; it was even worse than what the flyers describe." While pointing to policemen Xiao and Xiong who were monitoring him, he said, "It was they who did this." When Mr. Liao raised his feet to show the visiting officials the burned skin on his feet, policeman Xiao fiercely struck his feet to prevent him from doing so. Xiao accused Mr. Liao, "It was your fault; you leaked information about all of this. Otherwise, how would people know all the details?"

They used vicious means to harm my body and nervous system, and they tried to hound me to death or to the point that I suffered mental collapse. To quote their words, a person like me must "either be killed or made mentally disordered." It was not me who is the criminal, but these people of the concerned administration authority.

  The police transferred Ms. Luu the following day, September 21, to the Jinan provincial female prison where she was subjected to all kinds of torture, including forced brainwashing.
