Germany: Protesting Against CCP Violence and Supporting the Global Hunger Strike Campaign for Human Rights

On February 11th in Munich city centre, Mr. Solomon and Mr. Yuan Zhang carried out a 24-hour hunger strike to strongly condemn the CCP’s gangster violence in attacking Falun Gong practitioners Dr. Yuan Li, and also to support the renowned Chinese human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng’s hunger strike to protest against CCP human rights abuses. -
Norway: A Practitioner's Painting Touches School Children's Hearts

In early 2006, a practitioner made a presentation to several classes at an elementary school to tell the children about the persecution and the torture of Falun Gong practitioners that is taking place in China. The pupils also got to know the story of a little Chinese girl through a painting entitled "Homeless" by Daci Shen, a Chinese artist who lives in New York. The children hoped that everything would turn out fine for the little girl in the end. -
Slovakia: “The things you're doing are very good. Please continue”

On the morning of Saturday 11th February, Slovakian Falun Gong practitioners visited Piestany in the middle of western Slovakia. They went there to let local residents know about Falun Gong and the cruel campaign of human rights abuses that has been waged against the practice by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for almost seven years. -

Tourists in France will often encounter practitioners handing out leaflets and demonstrating the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. There is a weekly Falun Gong activity at the Human Rights Square under the Eiffel Tower where practitioners go to help people learn more about Falun Gong and the human rights abuses against the practice. -

United Kingdom: Falun Gong Practitioners Celebrate Chinese New Year in Central London

On February 4th 2006, UK Falun Gong practitioners held a small concert to celebrate the Chinese New Year in Leicester Gardens, which is near Chinatown in London. The practitioners performed a Lion Dance, played instruments, danced and sang. They also distributed fliers to let people know about the persecution of Falun Gong. -

Austria: The Story Behind Two Falun Gong Banners in Salzburg

To let tourists know about Falun Gong and the persecution happening in China, the practitioners give out leaflets and other materials at tourist hot-spots around the city. Many people who visit the historical part of Salzburg are often surprised to see a huge Falun Gong display board. Whenever we practise the Falun Gong exercises, there are always tourists passing by. We give out leaflets in Chinese, English, French and German. We also noticed that the Chinese tourists would often take photos of us. In order to show them our respect for the practice, we started to display the following sentences in Chinese: “The Pride of Chinese People” and “The Whole World Says Falun Gong is great!” -
France: Historical Decision by the Council of Europe in Strasbourg

On January 25th 2006, the Council of Europe handed down a historical decision. For the first time, crimes committed by totalitarian communist regimes were looked at from the European point of view and condemned. Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated in support of the PACE-Resolution outside the Council of Europe headquarters. -
Finland: Practitioners in Helsinki Expose the Persecution of Falun Gong in China on the Eve of Chinese New Year

On the eve of Chinese New Year, practitioners in Helsinki introduced Falun Dafa and exposed the persecution of Falun Gong in China to passersby near the train station. One man said while looking at the pictures of the persecution, “It’s horrible. The Chinese people should have a change. The persecution cannot continue. They need the help of people in other countries.” -
Bulgaria: Practitioners Introduce Falun Dafa and Expose the Persecution to People Celebrating the Chinese New Year in Sofia

On January 29th 2006, Bulgarian practitioners gathered in front of the National Palace of Culture in downtown Sofia. The event marked the start of the Year of the Dog. Falun Gong practitioners were the only ones who celebrated the Chinese New Year in Sofia and pleasantly surprised the citizens of the capital by wishing them “Happy Chinese New Year”. -
Switzerland: "Well done and we support you"

When the annual World Economic Forum convened between January 23rd and January 28th 2006, some Falun Gong practitioners came to the famous Swiss skiing spot, Davos. They disclosed the brutal persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP to the participants and the media at the Forum as well as the tourists on holiday there and the local people.
