  The Falun Gong Human Rights Working Group submitted a case report on the abduction of Huang Xiong to Mr. Stephen Toope, Chairman of the UN Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances during the annual meeting of the U.N.H.R.C. in Geneva. He was surprised to know that Mr. Huang was abducted more than a year ago and said he would take action right away.

• German Practitioners Write to the Premier Calling for the Rescue of Jiang Renzheng and his Family

  The German Falun Gong Information Centre disclosed that practitioners are now actively informing the German authorities, politicians, media and human rights organisation about the situation of Jiang’s family. They are appealing to the German Government to rescue the family and they want to help the public understand the situation under the Communist Party’s rule.

  Once I was on a boat ride back to my home country when I met a young Chinese couple. I began a discussion with them, telling them that I practise Falun Gong. They were happy to talk to me and we had a long discussion, mostly about the persecution against Falun Gong in China. They both had a higher level education, so we discussed issues on many levels and they asked many questions, most arising from the lies that the Chinese Communist Party have spread.

• United Kingdom: People from the City of Canterbury Learn about Falun Dafa and Support Practitioners’ Human Rights

  On Saturday the 9th of April, Dafa practitioners from Kent in the south of England held an event in the centre of the historic city of Canterbury to promote the local Falun Dafa class and raise awareness of the ongoing persecution against the practice in China. People showed their support for Falun Gong practitioners’ human rights by signing a petition calling for former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin to be brought to justice through a court of law.

• Germany: The first Falun Gong Workshop at a School in Cham City

  Four local newspapers and some newspapers from neighbouring cities published adverts for the Falun Gong workshop. One of them even printed a report about the workshop on its front page, as well as a thesis by an American medical doctor about Falun Gong’s beneficial influence on human health. Consequently, Falun Gong became a popular topic among residents and the workshop was attended by a lot of people.

  On April the 2nd and 3rd, Falun Gong practitioners participated in a health fair called ”Harmony Expo” in Liljeholmen, Stockholm. They demonstrated the five sets of exercises on a stage several times during the two days and handed out hundreds of leaflets and newspapers about Falun Gong and the persecution that has been taking place in China for the last six years.

• A Swedish Girl’s Wish: Making One Thousand Paper Lotus Flowers to Help End the Persecution

  Twelve-year-old Elvelina attended the activities that Nordic Falun Gong practitioners held during the Easter holidays. She had a dream during the night of March 26th 2005. She dreamt that if she could make one thousand paper lotus flowers, the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners in China would end. She told the dream to her friend, another girl of the same age, when she woke up in the morning. The two girls started folding paper lotus flowers right away.

• Denmark: Practitioners gather in Copenhagen to Share Experiences and hold Activities during the Easter Holidays

  Falun Gong practitioners from all over Denmark gathered in Copenhagen and spent the Easter holidays together. On the third day, they held activities in Copenhagen city centre to raise awareness about the human rights abuses against their fellow practitioners in China, and also held a peaceful appeal outside the Chinese Embassy calling for an end to this persecution.

On display were various kinds of Falun, painted or embroidered by the children, and many different artistic works featuring Chinese characters saying “Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance” and “Falun Gong Is Great.”

  Nordic Falun Gong practitioners gathered in Stockholm during the Easter holidays to study the teachings of Falun Gong and share cultivation experiences. Little practitioners also got together to play, sing, make all kinds of Falun emblems or lotus flowers and recite Master Li’s poems. Every one of them had glowing healthy faces. Their innocence and sincerity deeply moved everybody.
