Sweden: Introducing Falun Gong at Helsjön College

I am a Falun Gong practitioner and I’m studying Music in Helsjön College, 70km southwest of Gothenburg. There are about 120 students in the school and lots of them are Christian, so I had the chance to talk about spiritual issues with them. They were curious about Falun Gong. I provided them with some information and now I run an exercise class every Thursday before lunch. Students come to learn the exercises, and also hear about the persecution. -
European Practitioners' Chinese New Year Celebration Activities: Part 1 - Preparation Work

Although many practitioners didn’t know specifically which activities they were going to be involved in, everyone was lively and ready to help wherever they could. An exercise demonstration was followed by sending righteous thoughts; whilst some practitioners talked with passers by about the persecution and gave out leaflets. -
Germany: Western Practitioners in Passau City continued to Raise Awareness about the Persecution, Despite the Rain
2005-02-21One of the practitioners demonstrated the exercises and sent forth righteous thoughts whilst the other distributed leaflets to passers by, telling them about the Chinese Communist Party and the Jiang regime’s cruel persecution of Falun Gong practitioners over the last five years. Although the petition form was wet from the rain, there were still people signing it, calling for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong. -
Russia: Promoting Falun Gong and Appealing for People’s Concern for China’s Persecuted Practitioners

Practitioners from St. Petersburg, Moscow and Saratov gathered at the subway station of Kirovsko in St. Petersburg. The main aim of this activity was to introduce the practice of Falun Gong to the locals, expose the Chinese Communist Party’s brutal persecution under the Jiang regime and appeal for justice and conscience. -

At the same time as the exercises were shown, one of the practitioners spoke to the audience about what Falun Gong is and what cultivation is and what effects the exercises have. She also told everyone that Falun Gong-practitioners have been subjected to over five years of brutal persecution in China at the hands of the communist regime. -
Austria: Predestined Encounters during an Experience Sharing Gathering in Vienna
2005-02-18Three of the youth hostel residents joined me in the hostel’s main hall. They had come to Vienna from Israel. Once they saw the Falun Dafa banner on the wall they were curious about what it represented. One of them joined me for a while and I told him about Falun Gong and the persecution in China. He was already familiar with other qigong practices and was delighted to hear that there was a Falun Gong group exercise practice the next day. It was astounding to see him next morning; he was already able to do the first four exercises from beginning to end. -
Ukraine: Practitioners Receive a Warm Welcome at “Valentine's Day” Activities

Ukrainian Dafa practitioners were invited to attend a “Love and Friendship” performance held by a children’s library, as part of Valentine’s Day celebrations. They performed a beautiful lotus flower dance and held an activity in the name of ‘Petals of Peace’. 'Petals of Peace' symbolises hope for all the children who are suffering during the on-going persecution of Falun Gong in China. -
Germany: Stories of Promoting Falun Gong and Raising Awareness of the Persecution
2005-02-17A Falun Dafa Information Day was held in Nurnberg, a city located in southern Germany, on December 10th 2004. A middle-aged gentleman looked at every photo and illustrated drawing very carefully and then discussed them with several practitioners. He spent almost two hours developing an in-depth understanding of what Falun Gong is and how it is being violently persecuted in China. -
Belgium: Schoolchildren are Enthusiastic to Hear about Falun Gong and are Concerned about the Persecution

On the 16th of November, practitioners from Belgium were invited to a school in the city of Hasselt to introduce Falun Gong and the persecution against the practice in China to a class of ten to twelve year-old children. The children were very enthusiastic. The visit was successful and the teacher was very pleased that the practitioners were able to attend. -
Switzerland: Davos Residents and Officials from the World Economic Forum Support Human Right for China's Persecuted Dafa Practitioners

At the end of January 2005, the annual World Economic Forum was held in the famous Swiss ski-resort, Davos. Many countries sent their top officials to attend. During the last two days of the meeting (29th and 30th) Dafa practitioners in Switzerland organised anti-torture exhibitions and activities to let people know about Falun Gong. -
Russia: Raising Awareness about Falun Gong in Moscow City Centre and Appealing to End the Persecution

Moscow practitioners gathered at Slavyanskaya Square to make an urgent appeal. Recently, Jiang and his followers have utilised the Chinese Communist organisations to intensify their ongoing persecution. Russian practitioners felt that it is their responsibility to let people know the facts and call for their support in bringing the suppression to an end. -
Sweden: Celebrating Falun Dafa Day in Lerum

Sunday 30th of January was the third annual Falun Dafa Day in Lerum. A lot of shops close on Sundays so the practitioners met outside the Water Palace where there is a big swimming pool, gym and healthcare facilities. Lots of people passed by this area, took leaflets and waited in a queue to sign the petition calling for an end to the persecution. -
Italy: Raising Awareness about the Persecution to Tourists at the Coliseum in Rome

Ever since July 2004, Dafa practitioners have been displaying information boards at this tourist spot at least three days a week. While some of the Chinese tourists approach practitioners to take a leaflet and find out more, others are scared and keep their distance, simply staring at the banners reading, “Falun Dafa is Good” and “Righteousness will Prevail and Bring Jiang to Justice”. -
Russia: Saint Petersburg People Show their Support for Falun Gong

Falun Gong practitioners from Saint Petersburg went to Nevsky Metro Station to promote Falun Gong and raise awareness about the gross human rights violations happening to their fellow practitioners in China. After learning the truth about Falun Gong and that it is being wrongly persecuted, people took the initiative to sign a petition calling for an immediate end to the persecution. -
A Letter from the European Falun Dafa Association
2005-02-07"We have recently learned of a sinister campaign being conducted by the Chinese authorities to target foreign governments and their institutions. Their aim is to spread lies, incite hatred and create misunderstanding against people who practise a popular form of traditional Chinese practice called Falun Gong. In the Ukraine, for example, they have disseminated their sensational and outrageous propaganda to the Ministry of Education and Sciences forcing the authorities to disseminate it to all departments and areas. We would like to forewarn you of the latest ploy in their campaign both at home and abroad to “eradicate Falun Gong”."
