They demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises. People could see that the exercises are very peaceful and starkly contrast with the abuses that people who practise these exercises in China are subject to. -

It was snowing in St. Petersburg on that day. Not swayed by the foul weather, Dafa practitioners still peacefully demonstrated the exercises, sent forth righteous thoughts, handed out leaflets and told the people the facts about the persecution. People were shocked and enraged by the persecution happening in China. -

Many passers-by were attracted by Dafa’s elegant exercises. Some asked for information about the local exercise practice sites, while others took the initiative to talk to practitioners about the human rights abuses happening to people who practise Falun Gong in China. By the time the event finished, over 1500 flyers had been distributed. -
France: Anti-Torture Exhibition in Clermont-Ferrand City and Support for China’s Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners

People who saw re-enactments of some of the torture methods used to force Falun Gong practitioners to renounce their beliefs in China were shocked and enraged by the atrocities happening there, saying, “We stand by you and we all support you!” One middle-aged woman said that she used to think that human rights in China were improving but has since realised that this is not the case. Human rights workers have documented over 38,000 specific cases of torture or severe abuse against Falun Gong practitioners in China. -

There were always many people at our stand. People asked questions, voiced their opposition to the persecution in China and expressed their interest in learning the exercises for free at the practice site in the centre of Fribourg. Many people with an interest in spirituality told us that they felt the effects of the positive energy field around our stand. -

Germany: Exposing the Persecution during Cham Falun Dafa Day

Visitors had a comprehensive understanding of what Falun Gong is and the persecution of Falun Gong happening in China from the picture exhibition. Nearly all visitors signed the petition and supported bringing the instigator of the persecution Jiang Zemin to justice. On Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th of November 20004, Falun Dafa practitioners from England and Scotland gathered in Newcastle and Sunderland to inform people about the persecution of Falun Dafa in China and to help them find out more about the practice. Over the two days nearly 800 signatures were collected. -

Lots of tourists from Mainland China visit the arena every day. People all over the world are now calling for the main criminals in the genocide against Falun Gong to be held responsible for their crimes in a court of law. -
United Kingdom: Support for Bringing Jiang Zemin to Justice in Sheffield City Centre

After learning the truth of the persecution, people signed their names on a petition form to “Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice”. The former leader of China is the main instigator of the persecution against Falun Gong, so people were keen to support bringing him to justice in a court of law and holding him responsible for his crimes against humanity. -
Germany: Promoting Falun Gong and Exposing the Persecution in the Town of Cham

On October the 23rd and 24th, the 2004 “Earth Day” activities were organised in Cham Town Hall. Local practitioners took part in this activity by demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises and distributing information to people about the campaign of genocide being waged against Falun Gong in China. -
Finland: Promoting Falun Gong in Koli

People arrived in an endless flow for the whole two days. They asked what Falun Gong is, why Falun Gong practitioners are being persecuted in China and where they can learn the Falun Gong exercises. The occupant of the stall opposite couldn’t wait to ask us what Falun Gong was even before we finished setting up our stall. He made time to learn the exercises. -

2004-11-18“We are now on Marienplatz in Munich city centre. As everyone may know, there are almost one hundred million people practising Falun Gong in China, but they have been brutally persecuted. We are here to expose to everyone that in over a thousand labour reformation centres established to persecute Falun Gong practitioners in China, eight and a half million people are being persecuted to different extents; many people suffer agonising torture or beatings, and over a thousand people have been persecuted to death."
