The manageress of a local shopping centre told Turkish Falun Gong practitioners, “You can come to spread Falun Gong here every week over a long period of time if you would like to. This place is for Falun Dafa.” Practitioners were very happy and thanked her, and now they regularly hold activities in the centre. -

Practitioners from Helsinki and other cities in Finland held a retreat from the 6th to the 8th of January 2005. They studied the Falun Gong teachings, shared experiences and insights, and practised the exercises together. A peaceful appeal was held at the Chinese Embassy calling for an immediate end to the campaign of genocide against Falun Gong practitioners. -

The movie “Sandstorm” was shown at the Human Rights International Cinema Festival. On the 15th of December, a national Ukraine TV channel screened a brief report about “Sandstorm”. Scenes from the film depicting the torture used against Falun Gong practitioners were also shown. -

Passersby were shocked by the brutality of the scenes and the depiction of torture victims on the posters and banners was able to touch even the most hardened of hearts. -

The France-China Friendship Association and the French Falun Gong Association took advantage of this occasion to jointly hold a one-day petition signature collection activity in France’s second largest city, Marseille. Over eight hundred people signed a petition and wrote down many encouraging messages of support. -

On World Human Rights Day, 10th December, Amnesty International Gothenburg branch held an anti-torture parade and a candlelight vigil. Falun Gong practitioners from Gothenburg and the surrounding cities were invited to take part in the parade.This is the third time that Falun Gong practitioners have taken part in these activities. -

The ongoing persecution against Falun Gong by Jiang Zemin’s Chinese communist regime raised concern and attracted the attention of every organisation and participant in the conference. The persecution was strongly condemned. -
Russia: Promoting Falun Gong and Exposing the Persecution in Moscow City Centre

The activities on Saturday were held in the centre of the city, which was crowded with people. Over two thousand flyers in Chinese and Russian were given out within three hours. As practitioners spoke to people one-on-one, those who came to know the truth signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution.
