The Slovakian people were shocked that such a peaceful practice, which has brought improved physical and spiritual wellbeing to 100 million people in 60 countries, could be persecuted so brutally. -

On World Human Rights Day, December the 10th, the Munich branch of the International Society for Human Rights and German Falun Gong Practitioners held activities at the square in front of the National Theatre to call on German society to pay attention to China's human rights situation and put an end to the atrocities launched by Jiang Zemin and his Communist regime. -

On the 10th of December 2004, World Human Rights Day, Falun Gong practitioners in the UK held a press conference to remind people of the continuing five-year campaign of genocide against Falun Gong practitioners in China and to support bringing to justice the people responsible for the abuse, torture and killing of countless men, women and children. -

The 10th of December was World Human Rights Day. Helsinki Falun Gong practitioners went to the city centre to raise awareness about the cruel persecution in China. Widespread human rights abuse has been happening there for the last five years against people who practise Falun Gong and follow the principles of truthfulness, compassion and tolerance. -

Switzerland: Exposing the Torture Methods Used in China’s Labour Camps to Force Falun Gong Practitioners to Betray their Conscience

On a Saturday in November, Falun Gong practitioners met in Glarus Town Hall Square and set up an information booth. They talked to local people about the human rights atrocities that have been perpetrated against people who practise Falun Gong in China over the past five years. Passersby were shocked when they heard that over 1,100 people have lost their lives because they practice this peaceful meditation and exercise system, and because they refuse to renounce their belief in Falun Gong’s guiding principles of truthfulness, compassion and tolerance. -
United Kingdom: Practitioners Hold a Press Conference on World Human Rights Day

In London, Falun Gong practitioners gathered opposite the Chinese Embassy to draw attention to the five-year campaign of persecution waged against fellow practitioners in China. Turkey: Short Stories of Turkish people Embracing Falun Gong
2004-12-11One day I went to Istanbul on a business trip and met eight schoolteachers in a restaurant. They were chatting and I introduced myself to them. I mentioned Falun Gong to them and the ongoing persecution in China and told them that the main instigator of the persecution, former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin, is being sued in the international courts of many countries for the crime of genocide. They showed great interest in Falun Gong and some of them immediately wanted to learn the exercises. -

Germany: Exposing the Torture Against China’s Falun Gong Practitioners during the “China Meets Europe” Economic Convention

As soon as we heard about the Hamburg Economic Convention from November the 11th to the 27th 2004, we decided to organise an anti-torture exhibition near the meeting location. This included re-enactments and demonstrations of the methods of torture used to force Falun Gong practitioners in China to renounce their beliefs. -
United Kingdom: Promoting Falun Gong and Exposing the Persecution in Leeds and Middlesborough

On November the 27th and 28th, a group of British Falun Gong practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition and activities to promote Falun Gong in Leeds and then Middlesborough. Leeds and Middlesborough were the final stops of the anti-torture exhibition tour by practitioners from North Britain. Previously, the tour visited Newcastle, Sunderland, York and Huddersfield. -

People were busy shopping for Christmas on the last Saturday in November but still found time to show their concern for the Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted in China. Lots of people passed our stalls and took leaflets. After they had read through the leaflet carefully and found out more, they came back to sign a petition to help stop the persecution. -

Despite the chilly weather, the practitioners determinedly told the people of Middlesbrough about Falun Gong and exposed the terrible crimes that have been committed against Falun Gong practitioners under the direct orders of former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin.Many people signed a petition calling for Jiang to be brought to justice in a court of law. -
Turkey: Promoting Falun Gong and Exposing the Jiang Faction’s Persecution (1)
2004-12-04After learning and practising the five sets of exercises, he felt Falun Dafa was very good. This young Turkish man who had just obtained the Fa started to tell people the facts about Falun Gong. A Chinese textile delegation with over thirty members visited Turkey and stayed in a hotel not far from his home. He was delighted to find out about this. With eagerness, he found the person in charge of the delegation. The enthusiastic young man told him how good Falun Gong is and that he practises Falun Gong. His statements dumbfounded the delegation leader.
