Falun Gong practitioners gave a beautiful performance of “The Wonderful Heart’ in Gotaplatsen Plaza. They used singing, dancing, photographs and a demonstration of the five sets of Falun Gong exercises to show people the beauty and peacefulness of Falun Dafa and the persecution in China, as well as traditional Chinese culture. -
Sweden: Falun Gong Exercise Demonstration was Part of Gothenburg’s Annual Cultural Night

On the 16th of October 2004, visitors and residents of Gothenburg City enjoyed the annual Cultural Night. Falun Gong practitioners are a regular part of this event and in the programme this year they introduced the five sets of Falun Gong exercises that have benefited 100 million people in more than 60 countries around the world. -
Switzerland: Short Stories of Exposing the Persecution in the City of Bern

As the Swiss Federal Parliament is meeting in Bern, all the parliament members gather in the city for meetings. Practitioners made the most of this precious opportunity to raise awareness about the human rights abuses against people who practise Falun Gong in China. More than 2000 German and French leaflets were given out and several hundred petition signatures were collected. -
Germany: Informing People about the Persecution of Falun Gong at the Annual Meeting of the Baltic Development Forum at Hamburg University

For the first time since the citizens and senate of Hamburg joined the Baltic Development Forum in 2003, the city hosted its annual meeting from Sunday September the 2nd to Tuesday September the 4th 2004. The practitioners stayed at the main entrance of the university until the end of the summit. They talked to students, lecturers, university staff and people from economic circles about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Everybody was very receptive and many people were glad to get more information. -
Austria: Activities in Linz to Tell People the Facts about Falun Gong and the Persecution in China

Many people took the opportunity to enquire about the persecution and to ask for details about local practice sites where they can learn the Falun Gong exercises for free. Many people came over and signed the petitions of their own accord or had a chat with practitioners about the human rights abuses that are happening to people who practise Falun Gong in China. -
Russia: Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in the World Book Exhibition in Moscow
2004-10-16Russian Falun Gong practitioners took part in this book exhibition. Their stall was on the second floor with a really eye-catching sign. At the stall, they showed Falun Dafa’s books in several languages and also honours that Falun Gong has been awarded from around the world. The main media and publishers in Russia also attended and they interviewed Falun Gong practitioners who participated in the exhibition. -
Spain: Promoting Falun Gong in the Ancient City of Toledo

Toledo is an ancient city of Spain which attracts a great deal of tourists from all over the world. Practitioners placed poster displays in a square in the city centre, demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and talked to people to raise awareness about the human rights abuses against Falun Gong practitioners in China. -
Germany: Raising Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Gong in Northern Germany

Large crowds of interested people gathered around the display boards. Many people also came to sign their names on a petition calling for the instigator of the persecution against Falun gong, former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin, to be brought to justice in a court of law for his crimes of genocide, torture and crimes against humanity. -

United Kingdom: Practitioners held Anti-Torture Exhibition at All Three Major Political Party Conferences
2004-10-14There have been many great offers of support and help from delegates of all three parties and in total about 1400 delegates signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong and for the human rights abuser and instigator of the persecution Jiang Zemin to be brought to justice. Delegates were appalled by the torture that Falun Gong practitioners have been subjected to and were shocked that some of the practitioners at the event suffered personally in the persecution. They showed great support to a practitioner who is trying to rescue his sister from a forced labour camp in China. -

Italy: Government Officials in Sardinia Show Concern for the Persecution of Falun Gong
2004-10-13From August the 23rd to September the 13th, a Swiss Falun Gong practitioner went to Olbia city on the island of Sardinia in southern Italy. Every morning he practised Falun Gong exercises in a park and set up a series of display boards so that passers-by were able to read about Falun Gong and the persecution that practitioners in China are suffering. -
Belgium: Promoting Falun Gong at the Hasselt Health Fare

On the second weekend in October, Belgian Falun gong practitioners took part in the Hasselt Health Fare. Many people attended the health fare and it was a big success. Almost every visitor to the health fare came to the Falun Gong stall or received a flyer. Children all over the exhibition hall were carrying “Falun Dafa is Good” balloons and paper lotus flowers made by practitioners. -
France: Falun Gong Practitioners were Invited to the Third Athletics and Sports Festival in Guadeloupe

The citizens of Guadeloupe are very sensitive to suffering. In the past, they were victims of slavery. Therefore, most people are very open and listen to practitioners explaining the genocide that is happening in China today. People express their complete disapproval of this kind of cruel supppression and can’t understand how such a peaceful practice could be persecuted like this. -
France: Promoting Falun Gong in Lyon City
2004-10-10
On October the 2nd, French practitioners went to the city of Lyon to promote Falun Gong to local people at a leading Asian marketplace and Lyon City Hall. Practitioners also handed out petition postcards addressed to French President Chirac for them to sign and post as an appeal for the end of this inhuman persecution.
