  • Finland: Falun Gong Practitioners Expose the Brutal Persecution

    September 3 marked Police Day in Finland. Falun Gong practitioners took this chance to hold an activity at the train station plaza in Helsinki, exposing the 12-year-long brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. They set up display boards and passed out information to the public. They also demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises.
  • Russia: Practitioners Take Part in Moscow City Day Activities

    Moscow City Day was held on the first weekend of September 2011. Falun Gong practitioners participated in this event with several activities over the course of the weekend. They demonstrated the five sets of exercises in the gymnasium at Moscow State Technical University and performed traditional Chinese dances.
  • Spain: Falun Gong Activities at Madrid's Plaza del Callao Draw Support

    On September 3, practitioners in Spain held a group practice at the famous Plaza del Callao in Madrid to promote Falun Dafa and raise awareness about the persecution in China. The practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises, which attracted many tourists and local residents, and many of them either videotaped or photographed the event.
  • Germany: Practitioners Help Celebrate Children's Day in Bremen

    On August 21, 2011, Falun Gong practitioners took part in the celebration of Children’s Day in Bremen, Germany. This is the largest festival for children in Northern Germany, and about 50,000 people came to the event in People's Park. In the event, Falun Gong practitioners set up a booth and showed children how to fold paper lotus flowers.
  • Slovakia: Practitioners Tour Cities with a Petition Opposing the Persecution of Falun Gong

    Falun Gong practitioners held a one-week tour of Slovak cities with a petition opposing the persecution in China. The practitioners visited Bratislava, Piestany, Zilina, Ruzomberok, Liptovsky Mikulas, Spisska Nova Ves, and Poprad. The petition was a request to Slovak state officials to raise the question of the persecution of Falun Gong in China in negotiations with Chinese delegations.
  • Italy: Falun Dafa Takes Root in Rome

    Every summer, residents in Rome hold activities in the garden of Castle Sant'Angelo, located at the west bank of the Tiber River. On July 13, 2011, the government of the 17th District in Rome held a forum “Religions and Non-Religions in Italy” in the garden and invited Falun Gong practitioners to participate.
  • Poland: Signature Collection in Wroclaw to Protest the Persecution of Falun Gong

    On July 9 and 10, 2011, Falun Gong practitioners from Poland gathered in Wroclaw City and introduced Falun Dafa to the local people. Wroclaw is the fourth largest city in southwest Poland. Before World War II, Wroclaw was famous as both a commercial and industrial city as well as a culturally German city.
  • Belgium: Falun Gong Attracts Visitors at Summer Events

    Summer in Belgium is a season of music festivals, multicultural festivals, and other kinds of fun activities, providing residents a rich selection of outdoor activities. Falun Gong, because it benefits both mind and body, is free to learn, and is deeply rooted in the culture of Asian cultivation practice, has become a permanent attendee to many summer community events.
  • Finland: Raising Awareness about Falun Dafa in Helsinki's Esplanade Park

    Finland Falun Dafa practitioners held activities in Esplanade Park in Helsinki on July 2, 2011. They introduced Falun Dafa, also called Falun Gong, and raised awareness about the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) that has continued for twelve years.
  • Italy: Introducing Falun Gong in a Local Gymnasium in Padova

    On June 17, 2011, local practitioners from the region of Veneto introduced Falun Gong at the “Power Gym” facility in Padova, after being invited by the CESN (National Centre for Sport and Education in Italy). Practitioners explained how Falun Gong had become the most popular Qigong practice within only a few years of being introduced to the public in China in May 1992.
  • United Kingdom: Oxford City Councillor says, 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Is Very Good'

    On July 3, 2001, Sunday, the Cowley Road Carnival presented “Carnival in the Park” in South Park, Oxford. Local Falun Gong practitioners, who were invited to join the event, set up a booth to demonstrate the exercises, introduce Falun Gong, and expose the CCP's brutal persecution of the practice.
  • Italy: A Falun Gong Activity and Press Conference in Rome

    On June 1, 2011, the Twelfth District government in Rome and Falun Gong practitioners jointly held an activity entitled "Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong" at the District Government Conference Hall. As a district government representative, Mr. Peter Roan Angelo Massaro, Chairman of the Sports and Culture Committee, attended the event.
  • Bulgaria: Celebrating World Falun Dafa Day in Ruse

    On May 16, 2011, Falun Gong practitioners held an event in Ruse, the fifth largest city in Bulgaria, to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day and to wish Master Li happy birthday. Many people came to know about Falun Gong for the first time and expressed their stand against the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong.
  • Russia: Celebrating World Falun Dafa Day in St. Petersburg

    On May 13, 2011, Falun Dafa practitioners in St. Petersburg, Russia celebrated World Falun Dafa on Children's Theatre Square. They held group practice, performed on waist drums and conducted other activities to introduce Falun Gong to the public.
  • Spain: Celebrating World Falun Dafa Day and Introducing Falun Dafa

    To celebrate World Falun Dafa Day (May 13) this year, Falun Gong practitioners in Spain held various events to introduce Falun Gong and expose the persecution taking place in China. In Madrid, Falun Gong practitioners held group practice in the well-known Retiro Park and introduced Falun Gong to visitors.
