Austria: Lotus Car Tour Exposes the Persecution of Falun Gong
2006-09-26On September 17th, 2006, the 'lotus car tour' initiated by four Falun Gong practitioners began. The theme of the tour was to rescue Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted in China. Mainstream German Media Report on the Persecution of Falun Gong During Wen Jiabao’s Visit
2006-09-26On September 14th, 2006, German state run TV station ZDF, in its 5 p.m. newscast, reported on Falun Gong activities during Wen Jiabao’s visit to Hamburg. Falun Gong practitioners held activities in downtown Hamburg to expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong. Scenes were broadcast on TV of the practitioners' anti-torture exhibition. -
Germany: Touching Moments at the Hamburg Town Hall Square
2006-09-25“We are welcoming Wen Jiabao in Hamburg with one of our banners", said a Falun Gong practitioner over a microphone. “We encourage him to bring an end to the persecution of Falun Gong with these words. Wen Jiabao has as to date not participated in the persecution, but he also has done nothing to bring it to an end.” But, they are not welcoming the Minister of Trade Bo Xilai. Bo Xilai is facing lawsuits in many countries because of his participation in the persecution of Falun Gong. -

Austria: Practitioners Gather at the Singapore Consulate and Request the Withdrawal of an Unjust Indictment

Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Appeal on the Eve of Wen Jiabao's Visit to Germany
2006-09-20A Falun Gong human rights working group in Germany sent an open letter to the German Government, media and citizens, appealing for attention to China’s human rights conditions on the eve of Wen Jiabao’s visit to Germany, from September 13th - 15th. The letter mentions Gao Zhisheng, a prominent Chinese lawyer and active human rights campaigner who has been illegally detained by the Chinese Communist Party since August 15th, 2006. He openly wrote letters to the CCP leaders disclosing the situation of innocent Falun Gong practitioners being cruelly persecuted. -
Slovakia: Falun Gong in Levice and Kremnica
2006-09-19On Friday September 8th, practitioners of Falun Gong visited Levice city in Slovakia. Although to begin with the weather was rather cloudy, they put up a table with a petition against the persecution, erected the banner stands showing the scenes from the persecution and started to practice the peaceful Falun Gong exercises. The next day, practitioners visited Kremnica. -
