Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Yang Jianpo Unjustly Sentenced to Six Years in Prison and Taken to Detention Centre (Photo)

On April 25th, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang Jianpo was sentenced to six years in prison at the Guangyang District People's Hospital. There was no trial and his family was not notified. The lawless officials announced the "verdict" in front of his sickbed at the hospital. Later, Yang Jianpo's family went to the city government offices, but the officials refused to meet with them. One official even threatened, "You'll get arrested no matter where you go to appeal. We'll arrest you right now if you don't leave right away!" -
School Teacher Ms Xiong Xiulian Again Arrested and Persecuted
2006-05-19On the morning of April 10th, 2006, Ms. Xiong Xiulian, a schoolteacher was arrested while teaching a class and detained in a brainwashing centre. Because of her firm belief in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance," this popular and honoured teacher has been persecuted and tortured for many years. Police officers beat her with steel whips, fists, heels, and handcuffed her. They also inhumanely force-fed her, and left an iron ladle in her mouth to suppress her tongue. It is difficult to imagine how much pain she suffered. -
Langfang 610 Office Continues Persecuting Dafa Practitioner Yang Jianpo
2006-05-19On February 5th, 2006, practitioner Yang Jianpo went with the family of practitioner Wang Shaoqiu (who is detained and tortured) to appeal at Xianghe County Public Security Bureau. Yang Jianpo was arrested along the way. The vicious perpetrators sent Yang to a variety of forced labour camps and prisons in Hebei Province to be tortured. Yang Jianpo held a hunger strike for the entire time. In March the 610 Office sent him to Langfang City People's Hospital. To block the truth, they threatened the hospital officials into keeping the treatment secret and not notifying the practitioner's family. During the day they force-fed and performed intravenous infusions on him, and at night they took him back to the detention centre. -
Eight Guards Electric Baton-Shock Practitioner for Several Hours in Shuangkou Forced Labour Camp
2006-05-18The guards in the second ward have used electric batons to shock practitioners. They tortured Mr. Li Wenming by shocking him with electric batons on March 13th, March 16th, April 10th, and April 11th, 2006. Each session lasted two hours, and there were as many as eight guards shocking him simultaneously. Mr. Li Wenming was dying after this cruel torture. -
The Custodial Station and the Public Security Hospital in Beijing Repeatedly Drew My Blood for Testing and Analysis
2006-05-17Recently, the knowledge that organs have been harvested from live Falun Gong practitioners in the concentration camps in Mainland China was exposed. I recalled that, even as they brutally tortured me, they were still very concerned about my health. It was only because the officers in the Custodial Station wanted to harvest my organs that they made such painstaking efforts to treat me "well." I totally refused to cooperate with them. I resisted the force-feeding, the drug infusions, and the blood and urine testing. In this way I narrowly escaped being killed in the concentration camp. -
Mr. Wang Jingguo Tortured to Death, Jilin City National Security Bureau and 610 Office Threaten Family Members
2006-05-15Mr. Wang Jiangguo and his wife, Ms. Zhao Qiumei, from Jilin City were arrested on March 2nd 2006, by Nanjing Police Substation officers in the Chuanying District led by Tan Xinqiang. Ms. Zhao Qiumei was later sentenced to one year of forced labour. Mr. Wang Jiangguo was tortured to death on April 10th at the Jilin City Detention Centre after he was savagely force-fed and tortured in an attempt to extort a confession from him. He was 30 years old when he was tortured to death. On April 13th, a memorial service was planned in his home, where people could come to express their condolences. -
Despicable Means Used by the Fourth Brigade in the Shijiazhuang Forced Labour Camp to "Transform" Practitioners
2006-05-13Ms. Qi Hongjin was a Dafa practitioner who was highly educated. She went on a hunger strike in protest after she was sent to the camp. Staff members handcuffed Ms. Qi to a bed and told her they could "heal hunger strikes." They would not allow her to go to the toilet so she was forced to relieve herself in the bed. They scolded and humiliated her and wouldn't allow her to sleep. A guard later slapped Ms. Qi until her mouth bled and her face swelled. Ms. Qi was forced to squat for six hours and could not avoid relieving herself in her trousers and on the ground. -
Recent Crimes against Practitioners at Masanjia Concentration Camp and the Hulan County Prison in Heilongjiang Province
2006-05-13In February, one guard ordered an inmate to drag a Dafa practitioner out in the snow and stuff snow into her clothes, while the guard was watching. On March 23rd, 2006, on the way out to work, several inmates dragged Dafa practitioner Jiang Chunxia; her hands were handcuffed behind her back; her mouth was covered with layers of plastic tape. The No. 2 Battalion leader Wang Yanping just watched everything. A fellow practitioner witnessed the evil behaviour and pointed it out. Wang Yanping threatened her: "We are evil--so what? I will move you to our battalion tomorrow." In the No. 2 Battalion, the inmates beat Dafa practitioner Xin Shuhua frequently until her face was covered with blood. -
Mr. Jia Jingwen's Black Hair Turned Grey within Three Months of Persecution at Jinzhou Forced Labour Camp
2006-05-08"One day at end of July 2004, the police arrested me and sent me to Jinzhou Forced Labour Camp. Because I refused to follow their orders to get my hair cut and wear the prison uniform, they brutally beat me and put me into the "small cell for new arrivals." As soon as I arrived there, I saw a man with his hands cuffed behind his back, and wearing a helmet. He was very thin and had a grey beard, which almost covered his face. At first, I did not realise that he was my fellow practitioner Mr. Jia Jingwen. Although we had been close friends for over a year, I did not recognise him until I took a close look." -
Informing the World About Labour Camps, Detention Centres, Prisons, and Hospitals in Mainland China
2006-05-07In March of 2005 at Wanjia Forced Labour Camp, all inmates, including Falun Gong practitioners, were ordered to have their blood drawn and tested. They said that they were testing us for infectious diseases. Everyone had a full test tube, which was the width of a thumb, filled with our blood. Every test tube was numbered. During the procedure, the prison hospital director was very aggressive and at the same time afraid that anyone might refuse. Thinking back, I'm speculating - was this in reality to build a database for live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners? -
Masanjia Forced Labour Camp Deceives Reporters
2006-05-05"When I read the article "Comments on the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Response to the Sujiatun Concentration Camp" on Clearwisdom.net, I recalled a fact on how the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp deceived reporters. In March 2001, the camp authorities tensed up. Besides the routine forced labour, some detainees were designated to do sanitation work. All of the tabulations displayed in the corridor to assess Falun Gong practitioners were removed, and the entertainment facilities like volleyball, skipping rope and poker were showcased. An insider disclosed that some reporters would come after the "two conferences."" -
Mr. Lu Mengxin Dies From Torture Sustained in Wanjia Forced Labour Camp
2006-05-03Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Lu Mengxin was 42-years-old and was a lecturer employed by the Northeast Forestry University. He went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa on October 10th, 1999, and was arrested. He was detained for 16 months and sentenced to three years in prison. Mr. Lu was beaten and had his food taken by other inmates. He was as thin as a skeleton due to starvation. Mr. Lu Mengxin was arrested again early on April 3rd, 2005 and detained. Persecution-Related Deaths of 14 More Practitioners Verified in March 2006
2006-05-02The genocidal persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP has continued for close to seven years. The regime has brutally tortured Falun Gong practitioners to death and also imposed tight restrictions on information related to the persecution. The torture deaths reported publicly on Clearwisdom.net and verified through public channels are only the tip of the iceberg. Cruel Persecution in Xindian Women's Labour Camp in Shanxi Province
2006-05-02Falun Gong practitioners who are currently held in the Xindian Women's Labour Camp are enduring the persecution in great pain every day. The police often incited drug abusers to beat the practitioners, making their faces become swollen and leaving black-and-blue marks all over their bodies. Practitioner Jin Jing was forced several times to wear nothing but thin underclothes in freezing weather because she cried out, "Falun Dafa is good!" Brief Information about Falun Gong Practitioners Persecuted in Hubei Province in 2005
2006-05-02Recently, the police in Xishui City, Hubei Province colluded with some local thugs and arrested many practitioners. A truly inhuman thing happened when the police arrested practitioner Mr. Zhong Quier. A group of policemen attacked him and beat him unconscious on the ground. His mother, in her 70s, went out to protect her son; however, the police even beat the elderly mother so badly that she went into a coma. Afterwards, they put Mr. Zhong into a police car and left.
