Lu Rongfang Recounts How She Has Been Relentlessly Persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party Since 1999
2010-06-08"The Communist Party began persecuting Falun Gong practitioners in the middle of the night on July 20th, 1999, and has continued the persecution for the past ten years. During that time my home has been searched and property confiscated many times. I have been unjustly arrested, detained, interrogated, brainwashed, and sentenced many times. The Communist Party has persecuted me relentlessly. Even now, after being released from jail, they are still persecuting me." -
Blessed by Falun Gong, Persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)
2010-06-07After July 20th, 1999, the communist regime began to persecute Falun Gong. I saw information of my mum's arrest. I learned from the Internet that agents violently broke into my home, confiscated the Falun Gong book, Zhuan Falun. My 90-year-old grandma was so scared, she got sick. They wanted to "transform" [forcibly renounce Falun Gong] my mum, and would not let her come home. Only my sister was home. They tried to force her to tell them where I was, but my sister does not know my whereabouts. I know that they are looking for me everywhere. -
The Torture I Experienced in Liaoning Province Women's Prison
2010-05-31On April 12th, 2003, I was reported to the police as a Falun Gong practitioner and was arrested. I was detained in the Fuxing Detention Centre, Liaoning Province. In March 2004 I was sentenced to four years imprisonment and transferred in Liaoning Province Women's Prison. I experienced and witnessed many types of torture used to persecute Falun Gong practitioners: sleep deprivation, physical punishment, in winter pouring freezing cold water over the naked body, constant beatings, sleeping on a hard board, not being allowed to use the toilet, no toilet paper, confiscating food and everyday goods, confiscating money, being hung up, gagged, stuffed into a box, and the list goes on. Force-feedings with unknown drugs made several practitioners develop mental disorders. The torture caused numerous disabilities. -
Mr. Yu Lianhe Persecuted in a Forced Labour Camp for the Third Time
2010-05-30Before the persecution, our family of three practised Falun Gong. It brought enormous improvement in our health and mind. This was especially so for my wife, who completely regained her health after practising Falun Gong. However, everything collapsed after the Communist Party launched the persecution. My wife and I were both arrested. I was sent to a forced labour camp for a year. Following that, I was again apprehended and sent to a labour camp for two more years. Unable to bear the stress from the persecution and from supporting the family by herself, my wife gave up practising and filed for a divorce. Some locals who did not know the truth thought that it was my practice that destroyed my family. -

She was not allowed to sleep for long periods of time, denied the right to use the toilet, and injected with unknown drugs. To avoid persecution, she was forced to leave her hometown in November 2009. -
My Experience in the Qinghe Detention Centre
2010-05-26Although I was released from the Beijing Qinghe Detention Centre about two years ago, I can't shake the memory of my experience there. The living conditions at Qinghe Detention Centre are the worst. The cell held between twenty-seven and thirty-two people and only twenty could lie down to rest at any one time. The latrine pit was covered with a piece of cardboard to increase the sleeping space. Those not sleeping had to stand for two hours at a time. This meant that sleeping was arranged by shifts, with four shifts a night for everyone. We were short of food and what we received was watered down vegetables which we called "cabbage swimming." -
The Persecution of Qi Lizhen at Jiamusi Forced Labour Camp
2010-05-25Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Qi Lizhen is a very kind lady, yet she was fired from her job after being sentenced to a forced labour camp because she practised Falun Gong. After Ms. Qi appealed for justice for Falun Gong outside the Beijing Appeals Office, she was arrested and sentenced to a one-year term at Jiamusi Forced Labour Camp. Because she also lost her job, Ms. Qi had no source of income. Her husband was forced to divorce her. In 2004, she was sentenced to a three-year forced labour term. -
Practitioners Tortured with Electric Shocks at Tiefeng Police Division and Tailai Prison
2010-05-24I was arrested on March 29th, 2006. Police drove me to the Tiefeng District Police Department in Qiqihar City, where they bound me to a metal chair and tortured me for about 40 minutes. They forced my hands through two holes at the back of the chair and handcuffed me. My body was stretched forward with my feet on the ground, which forced the majority of my body off the chair. I was essentially suspended in the air. They tortured me like this three times. The next day they hung me onto a wall by my hands. Then the police connected electrical wires to my thumbs and genitals. These wires were connected to a high-voltage generator. They repeatedly sent electric shocks through me. I couldn't withstand the suffering. It was so painful that I would have rather died. They then handcuffed me to a chair and connected electric wires from my fingers to the generator, in order to shock me again. -

2010-05-20Mr. Lu Yougen was taken to the Tangxunhu Brainwashing Centre in Hubei Province in the middle of September 2009. He witnessed the guards brutally torturing Falun Gong practitioners. 2010-05-20Sixty-five-year-old Ms. Wu Fengying was sent to Wanjia Forced Labour Camp in Harbin City in 2002. While there she was forced to do labour, was savagely beaten, and had six of her teeth knocked out. In 2001 she was also detained in a detention centre. I Suffered Severe Persecution at Jinan Women's Prison
2010-05-12After I decided to become a Falun Gong practitioner and cultivate Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, I was unjustly arrested on October 15th, 2006, and sentenced to twelve years in prison. I was jailed at the Jinan Women's Prison on April 23rd, 2007, and that same night, transferred to the group training team that specialised in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Every day from 6:00 a.m. to midnight, prisoners controlled by the guards bombarded me with brainwashing attempts. Since I refused to accept the so-called "transforming" [forcibly renounce Falun Gong], they tried punishing me by forcing me to stand for long periods, depriving me of sleep, beating me, and cursing me, all to force me to give up being a Falun Gong practitioner. -
Retired Teacher from Jilin Province Suffers Years of Persecution
2010-05-10Ms. Shao Lihong is a retired teacher from the Jiaohe City Experimental Elementary School of Jilin Province. After she began to practise Falun Gong in 1996, all her chronic illnesses were cured, and she became a healthy and happy person. As a steadfast practitioner, she appealed for Falun Gong after the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched a persecution campaign against it in 1999. She was arrested repeatedly, and sent to forced labour camps twice. Due to severe mistreatment and torture, her health sharply declined during her second labour camp term. All of her old diseases came back, leaving her in critical condition. -
First-hand Account of Persecution Suffered in Wangcun Forced Labour Camp
2010-05-10On July 31st, 2008, I was studying the Falun Gong teachings and sharing experiences with over a dozen fellow practitioners. When we opened the door, over a dozen plainclothes policemen rushed in and arrested us. On August 30th, seven of us were sent to Wangcun Forced Labour Camp. Because I would not renounce practising Falun Gong I was handcuffed to the window bars of a toilet, both of my arms forced straight. They threatened me with solitary confinement if I refused to listen to them. The next day, I could not lift my left arm, and my hands were painful and numb. They only opened one handcuff for me to eat or use the toilet. After about four days, I felt dizzy and both of my arms hurt a lot. Since May 2009, we have been forced to do hard labour for long hours, for 14 or 15 hours a day on average.
