Female Practitioner He Miao is in Critical Condition Due to Brutal Persecution
2002-01-13The wardens maliciously beat her and locked her up in a damp and cold solitary compartment. The doctor in the labour camp, with the aid of abusive policemen, brutally force-fed her. In that abominable environment she suffered from scabies and painful blisters that were full of pus. Some parts of her body had raw open sores, which were extremely painful. She was tortured to the point of becoming emaciated and had difficulty breathing. Her life is in extreme danger. -
My Experience in Changchun City's Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp
2002-01-13They said, "You knew you would be dead when you entered the cell. We just torture you. There is an order from the higher authorities that you can be beaten to your last breath and then revived. Your death will be like nothing happened. Our Chaoyanggou Labour Camp authority has a good relationship with the funeral home. It costs nothing for cremation. Furthermore, there are dogs behind the building." -

Horrifying Persecution of Hunger Strikers
2002-01-11Dr. Sun (male) grabbed her hair and beat her head against a wall. As a result she became very dizzy and her head was covered with bumps as big as eggs. Another time, two male doctors (Chang Fan and Dr. Sun) forcibly dragged her into the hallway, locking all the doors of all the rooms so that other practitioners would not hear them beating her. They beat her until her entire face, including her nose and mouth, was bleeding. They tried to force-feed her while she was in this condition. -

2002-01-05The District Police Department threatened the hospital into issuing a release form to allow me to leave the hospital and sent me to the detention centre. When the police guards at the detention centre saw my condition, they immediately refused to accept me. But with the order from City Police Department they changed their rules for acceptance and justified it with the following line, "In a hospital a patient is determined to be in critical condition based on the condition of his health. Here in our detention centre, we have a different standard." -
