  On November 27th, 2006, Ms. Lei Wenxia was explaining the facts about Falun Dafa to people in Xuanhua City. She was arrested by the police from Nandajie Police Station and taken to the Detention Centre of Xuahua City, where she has been detained for over two months. When Ms. Lei Wenxia was first sent to the detention centre, she could eat and do things well. Later, her health declined. She was unable to eat, vomiting if she tried. The detention centre gave her intravenous injections against her will.

• Ruthless Persecution by 610 Office and Police in Weihai, Shandong Province

  I am a woman in my 60's. Because I practise Falun Gong, I have been arrested, and my home has been ransacked numerous times by officials from the Weihai 610 Office, the Weihai Zhudao Police Station, and the Weihai Huangguan Police Station. I have been detained, fined and sentenced to forced labour, and the authorities tried to brainwash me. Policemen cruelly tortured me, and I have suffered mental and physical harm, bringing irretrievable losses to my family.

• New Crimes Committed by the 610 Office of Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province

  Practitioner Ms. Wang Xiaoyuan has been missing since December 20th, 2006. It was later learned that the 610 Office arrested her because she practised Falun Dafa. She is the second practitioner who has been arrested in November 2006 from the Dou District and she is currently being detained in the Sanshui Forced Labour Camp. In her previous detention police officers tortured her by giving her unknown drugs.

  On May 23rd, 2006, Shanghai practitioner Ms. Zeng Aihua, 57 years old, a resident of Hong Kong, was arrested at home by police officers from Pudong New District Police Substation of Shanghai. Her home was ransacked and her belongings were confiscated. At present, the officials at the 610 Office of Shanghai are discouraging Ms. Zeng Aihua's lawyer from seeing her. Nobody has seen Ms. Zeng or heard anything about her for more than five months since her arrest.

• Laishui County 610 Office Agents in Hebei Province Destroy the Homes of Two Falun Gong Practitioners in Broad Daylight

  Laishui County 610 Office agents destroyed the homes of two Falun Gong practitioners on December 4th, 2006. They opened the front gate and barged inside the house. They completely destroyed all doors, windows, dishes and furniture, and some home appliances. The noise of furniture being smashed, breaking glass and barking dogs attracted several neighbours who gathered and watched the intruders. They removed the blade from a shovel and used the shovel handle to demolish items, including glass. Within 30 minutes, a clean and organised house was turned into a disaster zone.

• Police from the 610 Office in Yanqing County, Beijing Arrested Twenty Dafa Practitioners in 2006

  On June 28th, 2008, Shi Yingjie was arrested. He was thirty-one years old and an employee at the railway station. During his detention, he was tortured and developed the symptoms of heart attack, high blood pressure and stroke. Once he was on the brink of death and was sent to the Yanqing County Hospital. On September 19th, the Beijing Public Security Bureau arrested him again. He is now detained at the Second Custodial Station under the Seventh Department of the Public Security Bureau.

• 610 Office Sentences Xiangtan City Practitioner Mr. Huang Deming to Forced Labour

  On the evening of November 7th, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Huang Deming and Ms. Luo Jinxiu, from were both arrested by local police while distributing leaflets exposing the persecution. The Xiangtan City 610 Office had Mr. Huang Deming sentenced to one year of forced labour on December 10th, 2006, and he was taken to the Xinkaipu Labour Camp in Changsha City. Another female Falun Dafa practitioner, name unknown, was sent to the Changsha City Women's Prison.

• Practitioners Arrested and Killed by 610 Office Agents in Liaoyuan City, Liaoning Province

  The police team members told the 610 Office, the National Security Team, and their supervisors at the police station that these practitioners were a "gang of anti-revolutionaries." They confiscated assets worth 10,000 yuan, but reported them as 20,000 to 30,000 yuan to the provincial level government. The assets actually worth between 20,000 yuan and 30,000 yuan were reported at an inflated value of 50,000 to 60,000 yuan. The State Security Department urged them to conclude the case within a certain period of time after learning of this case. The provincial government attached a great deal of importance to this case, and asked Pi to report to them about the case every other day.

• The Shanghai City 610 Office Fabricated Evidence to Put Mr. Lin Mingli on Trial

  On the morning of November 10th, 2006, the Putuo District Court of Shanghai City sentenced Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Lin Mingli to six years in prison, but the trial is based on fabricated evidence. During the trial, the prosecutor only provided Ms. Li Hua's statement and one disc as evidence, and Ms. Li Hua, the witness, wasn't present at the trial. Ms. Li Hua called the disc the "master disc," but in fact, any disc can be used as a master disc to make copies. More importantly, this disc was not found in Mr. Lin Mingli's house, but was provided by Ms. Li Hua.

  On December 8th, 2006, after enquiring through many departments about Hong Kong Dafa practitioner Zeng Aihua's situation and whereabouts, and after being misled for over a month, her family was shocked to finally learn that her case had already been brought to public prosecution on November 1st, 2006. The Public Security Bureau, as well as the Procuratorate, deceived the family and the lawyer of Zeng Aihua, as they kept telling the family and lawyer that the case was still in its investigation period, and no further decision had been made. They obstructed the efforts of the lawyer who lost precious time in making a thorough investigation and preparations for the case. The Shanghai 610 Office is attempting to bring Zeng Aihua to a trial in the near future.

  My younger brother, Lin Mingli, was arrested by Shanghai police and brutally tortured at a labour camp for two years for practising Falun Gong. He was freed from the labour camp due to rescue efforts from the Canadian government and others. A short time after my brother was reunited with his wife he was suddenly arrested again by 610 Office agents. He has been detained since 2005, only because he persists in Dafa practice. The local 610 Office regard him as a major target.

• Mr. Shi Fafu in Shandong Province Died after Being Forcefully Sent to Labour Camp by 610 Office

  On July 5th, 2006, 66-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Shi Fafu was arrested by local "610 Office" agents and sent to a forced labour camp where he was was forced to do heavy labour and tortured until he was very weak. He was released home after a doctor could not treat him any more. He died on November 14th, 2006.

  On November 9th, 2006, Ms. He Meirong, a teacher was in her office correcting students' homework when the school principal and the director from the police station asked her to come out for a talk. She saw through their ill intention, so she refused to go with them. She tried to run away, but the two caught her and dragged her to the school entrance. With the help of some kindhearted people, she was able to escape. 610 Office officials ransacked Ms. He's home and took away her computer, Dafa books among other things. At present, she still cannot return to her teaching position.
