  Mr. Sun Futao shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" Under Gao Zhilu's orders, inmates Xu Hui and others brutally beat him. One side of Mr. Sun's neck swelled up badly as a result of the beating. This swelling never went away and was still visible at the time of Sun's death. During the 2003 Chinese New Year, Sun Futao was tortured to death at this Chaoyanggou Labour Camp.

• Practitioner Liu Dejun Arrested, Shot at, Imprisoned and Persecuted to Death for Meditating

  The police never notified his family, who subsequently learned of his arrest and three-year labour term through a non-official channel. After asking around, Mr. Liu's wife was able to locate and briefly meet with her husband twice in a hospital. Following those two visits, however, she was unable to determine his whereabouts. She asked the forced labour camp about his whereabouts. Although they said that he was not there, they would not say where he was. She went to police stations and similar units to ask for information about her husband, but without any results.

• Additional Facts Regarding the Murder Of Dafa Practitioner Li Shumin by the Banqiao Women's Prison in Tianjin City

  Ms. Li Shumin was about 30 years old and she worked as the head nurse at the Medical Centre of the Second Medical College in Tianjin City. She was illegally detained at the 5th Brigade in Banqiao Women's Prison in Dagang. The prison guards constantly tortured her because she refused to give up her faith in Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. She was only allowed to sleep for one hour each day, and was forced to do hard labour day and night while being subjected to beating and torture.

  The responsible government branches and officials have done nothing to punish the murderers. On the contrary, they threatened and harassed Chen's family members by admitting, "Your husband was killed by us for practising Falun Gong. We have gone to a lot of trouble in meeting quota [the given quota of killing Falun Gong practitioners]. How dare you speak out?! You want to be killed!?" After Chen died, Shantou City experienced thunderstorms for a whole week.

  While being detained at the Dalian City Forced Labour Camp, Mr. Zhang was beaten so badly that he couldn't get to sleep at night. He also coughed all day long and vomited blood very often. Once he vomited about 200 ml blood. Seeing that Mr. Zhang was on the verge of death, the labour camp released him on medical parole in order to escape responsibility.

  On October 1, 2002, people from the Wanbailin District Police Department in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province founded a "101 special case group" consisting of 30 criminal police officers whose job is to spy, follow and abduct Dafa practitioners. From mid-October to mid-November, they abducted more than 100 practitioners and demolished Dafa truth clarification material sites. The police along with Taiyuan City Public Security Hospital brutally tortured the practitioners.

In the 49 days since Ms. Dong's parents filed the case in court, the three policewomen never returned to their jobs. Every day, four different police staff members worked hard to try to force the Ms. Dong's parents to withdraw the case.

• Remembering Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Yang Yufang

  On May 17th of this year, police from the 3rd team broke into a Dafa material production site and arrested four practitioners, including Ms. Yang. Later they also arrested three more practitioners and confiscated tens of thousands of Yuan worth of equipment and three motorcycles. In the jail, the police repeatedly tortured Ms. Yang, trying to extract a confession out of her by force. They persecuted her almost every day until she was beaten to death. Upon her death, Ms. Yang's body was purple and bleeding from her nose, mouth, and ears. Practitioners who were arrested with her were also severely persecuted.
