Falun Gong practitioners took part in the First Frankfurt International Cultural Festival parade. The practitioners received waves of applause from the crowd, which astonished the Chinese people on the sidewalks. They clearly saw the stark contrast between Jiang’s persecution of Falun Gong in China and Falun Gong’s popularity in societies around the world. -

The “Global Coalition against Article 23 Legislation” held a press conference and parade in London to support the people of Hong Kong’s appeal against Article 23. UK citizens who are concerned about the democracy, freedom, and future of Hong Kong, including some Falun Gong practitioners, took part in this parade. -

UK: Falun Gong Practitioners’ Wonderful performance at the Lord Mayor's Parade in Oxford

UK Dafa practitioners won an award for their performance and a certificate was read out and presented to them by the Mayor of Oxford. This performance attracted many people’s attention and encouraged them to come to the Falun Gong stand to find out more about the practice, and sign their names in a signature book appealing for the rescue of practitioners’ family members. -

The activities ran smoothly throughout the whole day and the people of Oxford were kindhearted and showed much support. They were concerned for the practitioners in China who are suffering at the hands of Jiang's regime. -

The beautiful exercise demonstration attracted many people who expressed their anger at the Jiang regime’s persecution of Falun Gong. They signed the petition to urge the German government to be more proactive in rescuing the detained Falun Gong practitioner Xiong Wei, and other detained family members of German Falun Gong practitioners. -

Germany: Large-Scale Appeal for the Return of Illegally Detained Practitioner Lin Wenrong to Germany

In the morning of March 22 2003, a large parade was held in the city of Dusseldorf. The parade was an appeal for help to rescue Lin Wenrong and other friends and relatives of German Falun Gong practitioners, who are being persecuted in China. Around one hundred Falun Gong practitioners from Germany, Holland, Sweden and Taiwan took part. -

The local people showed great interest in the parade on the 17th of March as it passed through the streets of Geneva, stopping to talk to the practitioners, to take leaflets and to watch the parade as its shining banners moved slowly along in the bright morning sunshine. -
One Thousand Practitioners Take Part in Parade in Geneva

On Monday, 2003 the 17th of March, to coincide with the start of the 59th annual session of UN Commission on Human Rights in Geneva, Falun Dafa practitioners from around the world held a parade across the city. The parade went from Place Neuve in the heart of the city centre to the Place Des Nations, a large square outside of the United Nations building. Over one thousands practitioners took part. -
Germany: Parade to Appeal Against Article 23 and Request for Help to Rescue our Family Members

The practitioners hoped to tell people about the Jiang regime’s attempts to spread its terror tactics to Hong Kong by enforcing the Article 23 legislation. They also told the public about their friends and family members who are imprisoned in labour camps and detention centres in China, and asked for help to have them freed. -
Germany: Parade on International Human Rights Day Asking for Help to Rescue Ms. Xiong Wei

Despite the cold weather, many practitioners went to Bremen to tell people the facts of this persecution and continue in their efforts to rescue Xiong Wei. The four-hour parade ended with practitioners handing a letter to the Mayor who promised to help them find justice for the practitioners in China. -
UK: International Human Rights Day in London

The practitioners paraded through London city centre and headed towards Chinatown. They carried banners and handed out materials telling people that over 500 innocent practitioners have died at the hands of Jiang's regime whilst millions have been tortured, beaten, brainwashed and illegally imprisoned for being good people. -
