  • Czech Republic and Slovakia: Exposing the Persecution and Promoting Falun Gong (IV)

    Between 16th and 22nd of June 2005, for the first time Falun Gong practitioners in the Czech Republic and Slovakia made wide contact with the mainstream media, exposing the brutal persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist regime. They also hosted various activities to introduce Falun Gong to the general public. Practitioners invited Falun Gong practitioner Xiong Wei from Germany as a special guest. Xiong Wei was imprisoned for two years in a Chinese forced labour camp after being arrested for distributing leaflets exposing the Chinese Communist Party’s human rights abuses aginast Falun Gong practitioners.
  • France: Practitioners in Paris gather to Appeal for an End to the Persecution on the Sixth Anniversary of the "7.20 Incident"

    Practitioners gathered at the Chinese Consulate to condemn the persecution and mourn for more than 2,600 Falun Gong practitioners who have lost their lives in the last six years. The practitioners appealed to local people to help stop the persecution and urged the Chinese Consulate officials not to continue the persecution.
  • The German Public is Hoping Chinese People Will Get Rid of CCP Rule Soon

    Several German Falun Gong practitioners chose to join this activity. For the last six years, the CCP has carried out human rights atrocities against Falun Gong practitioners in attempts to force them to renounce their belief in truthfulness, compassion and forbearance. People throughout Mainland China have been poisoned by the media propaganda campaign that the CCP has used as a smokescreen to justify its lies. The Falun Gong practitioners hoped that by helping people see the truly evil nature of the CCP throughout the past fifty-plus years, people will find it easier to understand the CCP’s persecution against Falun Gong and want to help bring an end to it.
  • Russia: Telling the Facts in Moscow and Calling for an end to the Persecution

    Moscow Falun Gong practitioners gathered on Arbat Street in the city centre in order to appeal to more people for help to stop the cruel persecution of Falun Gong happening in China. The practitioners used various ways to tell people the truth. Nine exhibition boards were crammed with pictures and literary explanations.
  • Belgium: Promoting Falun Gong on the 150th Anniversary of Belgian National Day

    The 21st of July 2005 was Belgium National Day’s 150th birthday. Local Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises in a park in the city centre. They brought the peacefulness and grace of Falun Gong to the Belgian people. Lots of people stood reading the flyers and watching the exercises for a long time.
  • Norway: Many People Learned about Falun Gong on an SOS Tour of Northern Norway

    During the tour, the practitioners visited several villages and towns and handed out many flyers about Falun Gong and the persecution, as well as pinning these leaflets to prominent public notice boards for more people to see. The flyers revealed the systematic nature of the persecution against Falun Gong and how over 2,600 people have already lost their lives.
  • Sweden: Introducing Falun Gong at Mynttorget in Stockholm

    The practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong’s peaceful exercises and many people stopped by to have a look and find out more. There was also an exhibition about Falun Gong that exposed the persecution in detail. Many people got to learn about Falun Gong that day and join the worldwide voice of justice that is calling for an end to this persecution.
  • United Kingdom: Exposing the Persecution in London’s Chinatown to Mark the 6th Anniversary of the "7.20 Incident"

    Falun Gong practitioners in London’s Chinatown held activities to expose the persecution and let people know about the human rights abuses inflicted on Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Passer-by stopped to look at the brightly coloured banners and watch the short movies that played continuously on a TV.
  • France: Practitioners were Invited to Demonstrate Falun Gong Exercises at an Overseas Chinese Democracy and Peace Conference

    The Chairman of the French Falun Gong Association also delivered a speech in the conference. In the speech, he denounced the persecution that the Chinese communist regime is conducting against Falun Gong practitioners. He also gave an account of Falun Gong practitioners’ peaceful journey of anti-persecution in the past six years.
  • Czech Republic and Slovakia: Exposing the Persecution and Promoting Falun Gong (III)

    During the press conference, Xiong Wei described her own personal experience. After being arrested for handing out leaflets exposing the human rights abuseas aganst Falun Gong, she was imprisoned in a Chinese forced labour camp for two years and suffered various types of torture and abuse. Female journalists couldn’t hide their sadness and sympathy.
  • Russia: Practitioners from St. Petersburg Raise Awareness on the Streets and Appeal to Stop the Persecution

    On the afternoon of the 23rd of July 2005, practitioners in St. Petersburg once again held a rally in the city centre. Through demonstrating the exercises, displaying a picture exhibition to expose the torture, distributing leaflets and talking to citizens and tourists, practitioners called on the public to lend a hand and help stop the persecution.
  • Sweden: People in Gothenburg Hope for an End to the Persecution

    On the afternoon of the 20th of July, Swedish practitioners told people about the six years of human rights abuses that have taken the lives of over 2,600 Falun Gong practitioners in China and have ruined the lives of thousands and thousands of others who have lost their jobs, homes and families because they refused to renounce their beliefs.
  • Russia: Continuing to Appeal for an End to the Persecution After Six Years

    Practitioners from Saint Petersburg demonstrated the exercises, sent forth righteous thoughts and told passers-by about the persecution against Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The terrible weather that day did not stop them carrying out this activity to commemorate six years of genocide against Falun Gong.
  • France: Anti-Torture Exhibition to Raise Awareness in Caen

    We set up a display stand and anti-torture exhibition in a park in the city centre. It was a sunny and breezy weekend, with passers-by streaming through. The anti-torture exhibition, in which practitioners simulated the methods of torture used against Falun Gong practitioners in China by the communist authorities, deeply touched the hearts of passers-by.
  • Austria: Practitioners Commemorate Six Years the Lives Lost in Six Years of Persecution

    On July 20th 2005, the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution against Falun Gong practitioners entered its seventh year. Austrian practitioners gathered in Vienna’s Stephansplatz to commemorate the victims and to let the Austrian people know about the human rights abuses that have been happening in China every day since 1999.
