United Kingdom: Continuing to Promote Falun Gong and Expose the Persecution in Central London

On Saturday 22nd January, practitioners gathered around St. Martin’s Place in central London to promote Falun Gong and expose the persecution against the practice in China. These activities were a continuation of the European practitioners’ large-scale activities in London on the previous weekend, when several hundred practitioners from nearly 20 European countries came to join in the events. -
Sweden: Introducing Falun Gong to a Spiritual Association in Eslöv

One practitioner began by sharing his own experience of practising Falun Gong and how he eventually started to understand what cultivation was about. We went on to tell them about the ongoing persecution in China and how millions of innocent people have been subjected to torture, violence, beatings, imprisonment and violations of their human rights. The audience listened attentively. Finally, we demonstrated the five sets of exercises and at the same time explained some of the core principles of the practice. -
Poland: Delivering the Book Falun Gong to All Warsaw Libraries

At the beginning of January 2005, a Warsaw Falun Gong practitioner completed the large task of delivering the introductory text to Faln Dafa cultivation practice, Falun Gong, to all libraries in Warsaw. Using local public transport, she delivered the book to over 120 libraries in order to help Warsaw residents have the chance to learn Falun Gong. -

In the five years that Falun Gong has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime, people living in former communist countries could understand more easily why a peaceful practice would be persecuted so brutally, as they had personally experienced the horror conducted by Communist governments. -
Finnish Practitioners Take Part in the Large scale Events in London to Raise Awareness about the Persecution

We participated in the waist drum practice ready for the parade. Some media reporters came to interview us during the practice; they took a lot of notes and some pictures of us for about an hour and a half. At the end of the large-scale parade through central London on January 15th, we sincerely gave our thanks to the policemen who directed the traffic. -
United Kingdom: Falun Gong Practitioners Invited to hold a Seminar at Southampton University

In the afternoon of the 12th of January 2005, after receiving an invitation from Amnesty International of Southampton University (AISU), Falun Gong practitioners in the UK held a seminar dedicated to the subject of Falun Gong for members of AISU. Using videos as an introduction, practitioners explained to the audience what exactly Falun Gong is. -
France: Teaching a Disabled Young Man the Falun Gong Exercises
2005-01-22We communicated very well. He fully learned and remembered the first exercise. At the end, I realised that his movements had improved a lot under the effect of good energy and compassion. Then I showed him the second exercise. He could hold every position for a good few minutes. When the exercises were about to finish, the sky was already fully light. We shook hands together. The atmosphere was very happy and peaceful. -

Turkey: Regularly Promoting Falun Gong in a Local Shopping Centre

The manageress of a local shopping centre told Turkish Falun Gong practitioners, “You can come to spread Falun Gong here every week over a long period of time if you would like to. This place is for Falun Dafa.” Practitioners were very happy and thanked her, and now they regularly hold activities in the centre. -

Finland: At the Beginning of the New Year, Dafa Practitioners Strive to Do the Three Things Well

Practitioners from Helsinki and other cities in Finland held a retreat from the 6th to the 8th of January 2005. They studied the Falun Gong teachings, shared experiences and insights, and practised the exercises together. A peaceful appeal was held at the Chinese Embassy calling for an immediate end to the campaign of genocide against Falun Gong practitioners.
