France: Appealing in Paris for Public Awareness of Persecution against Falun Gong

Practitioners in France decided to promote Falun Gong on various streets in Paris. Though there were not many practitioners to take part, our banners were so eye-catching that many passers-by stopped to read the captions that went with photos about the persecution. Some were shocked and took the initiative to sign the petition. -
Ukraine: Exposing the Persecution during a Mythology Drama Presentation

On May the 28th and 29th, Ukrainian practitioners took part in a mythology drama held by Dnepropetrovsk City Council in a local park. During the gathering, people viewed a display of pictures exposing the human rights abuses against Falun Gong practitioners in China. Many people were attracted by the paper lotus flowers made by practitioners. -
Sweden: Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in an Alternative Health Fair in Uddevalla

On the 28th and 29th of May, Falun Gong practitioners took part in an alternative health fair in Uddevalla. They performed the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and informed the participants about Falun Gong and the ongoing persecution occurring in China. They also set up an exhibition of posters and photos, accompanied by an information table. -
Germany: People and Officials of Wuerzburg City Appeal to the German Government to Rescue Jiang Renzheng

Since Jiang Renzheng was sentenced to three years in a forced labour camp in China, shortly after his whole family was deported from the German city of Wuerzburg, Falun Gong practitioners in that city have organised five events in the city centre to call for Jiang’s release. Most members of the public said they already had some knowledge of Jiang’s arrest from the city’s media. People deplored the German government’s bad decision while gaining a lot better understanding of the persecution Falun Gong practitioners are suffering in China. -
Norway: Folding Paper Lotus Flowers at a Children’s Festival in Oslo

A children's festival was arranged during the last weekend in May at the Medieval Park in Oslo, the capital of Norway. During this annual weekend activity, children and their parents experience different exciting things such as song and dance, cooking and a lot more. This year, the children could also learn how to fold paper lotus flowers. -
Romania: “The Evil CCP is the Same as Ceausescu!”

Romanian Falun Gong practitioners went to Suceava city to promote Falun Gong and raise awareness of the human rights abuses influicted on practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party. They handed out leaflets about Falun Gong to tourists in the park and allowed more people to get to know that the world needs “Truthfulness Compassion and Forbearance”. -
Slovakia: People in Povazska Bystrica Help to Raise Awareness of the Persecution Against Falun Gong

Povazska Bystrica is a city with about 40.000 inhabitants in western Slovakia. Practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and exposed the Chinese Communist Party’s human rights crimes against Falun Gong on large poster boards. People who passed by stopped to sign a petition calling for an end to this persecution. -
Finland: Falun Gong Warmly Welcomed at the World Village Event

On May 28th and 29th 2005, a two day “World Village” celebration was held in a park in the Finnish capital Helsinki. When people got to know that such a wonderful practice, which has brought benefits to 100 million people all over the world, is facing brutal persecution in China, they all signed the petition to show their sympathy and support. -
Holland: Promoting Falun Dafa in Eschede on the Dutch-German Border

Dutch Falun Gong practitioners met in Eschede on the Dutch-German border to promote Falun Gong and raise awareness about the human rights abuses against their fellow practitioners in China. Demonstrations of the relaxed Falun Gong exercises accompanied by the beautiful exercise music attracted many people to stop and watch. -
Bulgaria: Presenting Zhuan Falun at the Biggest National Book Fair in Sofia

Practitioners presented the book Zhuan Falun to the public at the biggest book forum in Bulgaria – Book Fair 2005. The main text of Falun Gong was published for the first time in Bulgarian language on the 13th of May, World Falun Dafa Day. During the presentation, the practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. -
Germany: Falun Gong Information Day in Berlin

In Alexander Square, which used to be the heart of the communist East Germany, yellow Falun Gong banners glowed like beacons. The passers-by quickly found out how the Chinese Communist Party uses its political power to commit unspeakable crimes against its own peaceful and kind citizens because they practise Falun Gong. -
Spain: Promoting Falun Gong to the Participants of the International Nature Therapy Conference

An International Nature Therapy Conference was held at the parliament mansion in Madrid. Nearly one thousand academics and supporters attended this conference. After being given permission by the conference organiser, Madrid practitioners promoted Falun Gong in the square outside the conference, demonstrating the exercises and distributing leaflets. -
Germany: Magnificent Performances of Oriental Art and Falun Gong Exercises

The German Gymnastic Festival activities were held from May 14th to 20th in Berlin, which attracted hundreds of thousands of athletics lovers from all over the world. At the invitation of the organisers, Falun Gong practitioners offered various programmes including demonstrations of the Falun Gong exercises, dance performances and a forum. -
Sweden: Seminar about Falun Gong at Dalarna College

Falun Gong practitioners were once again invited to hold a seminar at a college in Dalarna. The Falun Gong seminars are widely appreciated and have almost become like a tradition for students. This time even the students who study through long-distance education had the chance to get an introduction to Falun Gong via web television. -
Norway: More and More Norwegian People are Coming to Learn Falun Gong

At an Oslo health expo, practitioners displayed pictures about what Falun Gong is, Falun Gong’s introduction all over the world, benefits to the body and mind experienced by people who practise, the brutal persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party and the peaceful anti-persecution campaign conducted by practitioners all over the world.
