2004-09-09Falun Gong practitioners gathered together to study the Falun Gong teachings, practise the exercises and send forth righteous thoughts. At the same time, they visited media outlets and government offices as well as distributed leaflets and provide free exercise instruction at public parks to introduce Falun Gong and expose the facts about the persecution to the public. -
Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in a Long-Distance Race for Human Rights

Sweden: A Series of Anti-Torture Exhibitions in Gothenburg Exposes the Brutal Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in China
2004-09-08Swedish practitioners held the last in a series of three anti-torture exhibitions outside the administrative offices of the Gothenburg City government. Visitors attracted to the exhibitions were indignant when they saw the torture methods used to force Falun Gong practitioners to denounce their belief. Many signed a petition calling for the Swedish Government to condemn this persecution. -
Austria: Criminal Charges Brought Against Jia Qinglin
2004-09-08Under the guidelines of the UN Convention On Torture, an unusual lawsuit was filed on Monday with the State Prosecutor's Office in Vienna. In the suit, a lawyer for the "International Society for Human Rights“ and the "International Society for Threatened People“ argues that a Chinese Communist Party politician currently visiting Austria is one of the main parties responsible for the persecution and oppression of Falun Gong. Jia Qinglin, former Party Secretary from Beijing and current permanent member of the Politbureau, arrived last night at the airport in Salzburg. -
Russia: Introducing Falun Gong and Exposing the Persecution in Ussurisk City
2004-09-08One of the guys told us that they had bought the Russian version of Falun Gong, the introductory text of Falun Dafa, in Vladivostok some time ago. They had read it three times. All they discussed all day was the content of Falun Gong, but they still had some questions. They could not practise the exercises correctly either. So they were very happy to see us distributing materials about Dafa. Meanwhile, the other guy ran back with Falun Gong in his hand. -

2004-09-07As soon as Austrian Falun Gong practitioners learned of Jia Qinglin’s visit to Austria, they began to prepare the lawsuit, and at the same time they made use of all opportunities to expose Jia’s crimes of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners to Austrian political circles by doing interviews, phoning people and sending letters. -
Czech Republic: Introducing Falun Dafa and Exposing the Persecution in the Cities of Northern Moravia
2004-09-07In Ostrava, practitioners began their appeal in the middle of the town's busy main square. First thing in the morning, the editor of the county paper and her photographer came to the square to interview practitioners and to find out as much as they could about the purpose of their visit to Ostrava. Their article appeared the next morning, revealing a lot of important information about the persecution. -
Ukraine: Picture Exhibition Entitled "The Path of Falun Gong" held in Uzgorod City
2004-09-07Ukrainian practitioners successfully held an exhibition of photographs entitled "The Path of Falun Gong" in Uzgorod. Many local residents visited the exhibition and learned about the persecution in China. Many of the media attended the press conference and local television and radio stations reported on the exhibition. -
United Kingdom: Anti-Torture Exhibition in Oxford Exposes the Ruthless Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners
2004-09-06An Anti-Torture Exhibition was held in Oxford city centre on September 4th, 2004, to expose some of the methods used in Chinese labour camps and prisons to force Falun Gong practitioners to renounce their belief in Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance. As some practitioners demonstrated the exercises and distributed leaflets, others in realistic make-up demonstrated several methods of torture. -
Germany: Practitioners Introduce Falun Dafa and Expose the Persecution During the European Sinology Expert Conference at Heidelberg University
2004-09-06Between the 26th and the 28th of October, the European Sinology Expert Conference was held in the southern German university town of Heidelberg. Representatives of German practitioners attended the conference, clarifying to the facts about Falun Dafa to Sinologists who have a deep predestined relationship with Chinese culture. -
Holland: Letting People Know about Falun Dafa at Rotterdam Chinese Festival
2004-09-06The annual Rotterdam Chinese Festival was held this year on the 28th and 29th of August in Chinatown. The streets were crowded with Dutch citizens. With their leaflets, Falun gong practitioners went to Chinatown and hung a “Falun Dafa” banner and distributed leaflets about the persecution in China while playing Dafa music and demonstrating the exercises. -
Germany: Introducing Falun Dafa and Exposing the Persecution at the Dresden City Festival (3)
2004-09-05From the 20th to the 22nd of August 2004, Dresden in Germany held its annual city festival. Tens of thousands of people came to the streets to watch the different types of performances. German Falun Gong practitioners were invited to the festival and performed on the stage twice a day for forty minutes each time. -
Sweden: Falun Gong Invited to Participate in Stockholm Cultural Festival
2004-09-04On the weekend of August the 29th, there was a large Swedish/Italian cultural festival held in Gamla Stan in Stockholm and Falun Gong practitioners were invited to perform. At the same time a three-language photo exhibition was displayed for passersby, who included many tourists. -
Russia: Photo Report - Introducing Falun Gong in a Moscow Park
2004-09-04Practitioners introduced Falun Dafa in a park in Moscow. While some performed traditional-style dances and demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises, other practitioners revealed to passersby the extent of the persecution of Falun Gong taking place in Mainland China and collected signatures to bring it to an end. -

2004-09-04Between August the 20th and August the 22nd, German Falun Gong practitioners took part in Dresden’s annual City Festival. Practitioners were invited to perform for forty-five minutes on the stage twice every day. Also, practitioners at two stalls told people about Falun Gong and the persecution between participating in the dance performances.
