European Parliament Hosts Public Hearing about Falun Gong to Commemorate "April 25" Appeal
2009-05-01This year marks the tenth anniversary of the "April 25" peaceful appeal by Falun Gong practitioners in Beijing. On April 15th, Vice President of the European Parliament Mr Edward McMillan-Scott initiated an international public hearing about the lack of freedom of belief in China. Through their own personal experiences as well as some independent investigations,participants analysed the Chinese Communist regime's persecution of Falun Gong and appealed for an end to the persecution. -
Poland: Many Organisations Attend a News Conference to Condemn the Persecution of Falun Gong in China

More Than One Million People Call for an End to the Persecution of Falun Gong
2008-07-29On July 25, the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG) handed over letters that were collected from political leaders, Members of Parliament, lawyers, and doctors in the "Millions of Signatures Global Campaign" to the International Olympic Committee (IOC). 2007-08-08The parade included banners, music, waist-drummers dressed in gold, and many female practitioners dressed in white holding photos of those killed in the persecution. The tail of the parade included a float and banners exposing the atrocities committed by the CCP and highlighting the harvesting of organs from prisoners of conscience. -
