Falun Gong practitioners held a candlelight vigil at the square outside the Helsinki Train Station on January 27, 2014, 27, the annual International Day of Commemoration in memory of the victims of the Holocaust. As the phrase “never again” was born after the Holocaust, the practitioners hope their actions will serve as a reminder for the public not to keep silent and to help stop the persecution of Falun Gong in China.

Visitors to Chinatown come across Falun Gong practitioners, who have maintained a regular presence there every weekend. Practitioners hold exercise demonstrations, expose the persecution in China including the forced organ harvesting from living practitioners, and hold signature drives calling for an end to the persecution.

Falun Gong practitioners held truth-clarification activities on February 15, 2014, at Marienplatz in the city centre of Munich, Germany, on a warm winter day. They set up an informational booth, displayed photos, and collected signatures condemning the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) practice of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.

The city of Prato has the largest Chinese community in Italy. It is commonly known as Italy's “Chinatown.” A group of practitioners can be seen doing the Falun Dafa exercises on a park lawn every Saturday morning there.

Citizens in many areas of Germany's State of North Rhine-Westphalia learned about the persecution of Falun Gong as 2013 drew to a close and the new year was ushered in.

On January 24 and 25, 2014, Falun Dafa practitioners in Poland travelled to the ancient city of Torun, the hometown of famous astronomer Copernicus, to hold a signature drive calling for an end to the forced organ harvesting of persecuted Dafa practitioners and other prisoners of conscience in China.

Oil painting “An Unnecessary Death” by young artist Vim van Aalst won the “Painting of the Year” contest in Belgium for 2013. “An Unnecessary Death” depicts a grief-stricken mother of a Falun Gong practitioner holding her daughter.

The story, titled “Very Worried about His Friend,” started with Mr. Guo Jefeng's new life in Germany, where, unlike in China, he can enjoy great freedom. But he was very worried about his friend back in China, who shares his belief and is still subject to the torture and suppression he once experienced.

A screening of the award-winning documentary, Free China: The Courage to Believe, was held at the Cinema Massimo in the National Film Museum in Turin, Italy. The 150-seat auditorium was filled to capacity.

Many passersby came over after reading the large banner with the words: “S.O.S. Stop Persecuting Falun Gong!” Images of Falun Dafa practitioners who had been tortured in forced labour camps were also displayed. These were effective in exposing the brutality of the persecution.

Falun Gong practitioners collected signatures on the Limmat River in Zurich, calling for an end to live organ harvesting in China, on November 30, 2013. Many passersby saw the display boards that read "Petition to immediately stop live organ harvesting in China" and agreed to sign the petition.

Judith Woodman, a city councillor in the capital city of Cardiff, Wales, was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the The Art of Zhen, Shan, Ren (Truth, Compassion, Forbearance) International Exhibition on October 14, 2013. Many visitors said that they were deeply touched and inspired by the exhibition

Falun Gong practitioners in Cham, a small town in southern Germany, once again held a free class at the end of November to teach the local people the Falun Gong exercises. The exercises introduced many Cham residents to Falun Gong, an ancient mind and body practice based on the universal principles of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance.

On November 29th, 2013, "The Art of Zhen, Shan, Ren” international exhibition opened in Liepaja, a city in Latvia. Visitors to the exhibition had an opportunity to see reproductions of 37 art-works showing the beauty of the artists' inner spiritual world, as well as the tragedy of the human rights abuses happening to Falun Gong practitioners in China.
