Germany: Exposing the Persecution of Falun Gong at Essen Christmas Market
2008-12-20Regional Falun Gong practitioners took the opportunity during the pre-Christmas season, when the market is crowded with people, to organise an information booth and a rally to expose the persecution of Falun Gong in China for three consecutive Saturday's. Because of the Christmas market, several thousand people saw the display. -
UK: Peaceful Protest at the Chinese Consulate in Manchester
2008-12-19December 10th, 2008, marked International Human Rights Day. Falun Gong practitioners in central and northern England held an activity in front of the Chinese Consulate in Manchester to remember the Falun Gong practitioners who have been murdered by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in its nine year persecution of Falun Gong. -
Finland: Falun Gong Practitioners Hold Roadside Activities During a Meeting of the European Security Council
2008-12-18On December 4th and 5th, the Organisation of Security and Cooperation in Europe convened in Helsinki and the Heads and Ministers of foreign affairs from over 70 countries from around the world attended the meeting. Finnish Falun Gong practitioners conducted two days of peaceful protest. -
Switzerland: Falun Gong Practitioners Expose the Atrocities of the Chinese Communist Party
2008-12-17December 10th was International Human Rights Day, as well as being cold and wintry. Despite the weather, Swiss and German Falun Gong practitioners still managed to hold a Falun Gong 'information day' in Basel city centre to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong. -
Finland: Protesting against the Persecution on International Human Rights Day at Rovaniemi
2008-12-16December 10th, 2008, was International Human Rights Day. On this day in Rovaniemi in northern Finland, Falun Gong practitioner Xiao Jin, together her husband (who is not a practitioner ), hung a banner and posters by the side of the road. They displayed posters introducing Falun Gong, posters disclosing how the evil CCP brutally persecutes Falun Gong practitioners in mainland China, and posters calling for help to rescue Xiao Jin’s mother and protesting against the inhuman persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP, which has already lasted for nine years. -

Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Hold Activities on the Eve of International Human Rights Day
2008-12-13On the eve of International Human Rights Day, Munich Falun Gong practitioners went to the Chinese Embassy and held activities to protest against the persecution of Falun Gong and raise awareness about the 46 million withdrawals from the evil CCP. Germany: Information Booth Set Up in Downtown Munich to Expose CCP Atrocities
2008-12-09On August 16, 2008, in front of St. Michael's Church in downtown Munich, Falun Gong practitioners from Bavaria, Germany set up an information booth to support 41 million Chinese people who have renounced the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and to expose the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. -
Germany: Practitioners Work Together and Go Forward after the Fa Conference in Berlin
2008-12-08From November 11-16, 2008, nearly 1000 Falun Gong practitioners from all over Europe attended an Experience Sharing Conference in Berlin, Germany. Although they came from different countries, spoke different languages and had different cultural backgrounds, when talking about their own experiences in cultivating Falun Gong, the differences were not significant. All practitioners were talking and listening from their hearts. -
Switzerland: Falun Gong Welcomed at Fribourg Health Expo
2008-12-07This year, the Falun Gong booth added a new component – Chinese Calligraphy – in addition to the exercise demonstration, the exposure of the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong, and the signature drive to end the persecution. A practitioner good at calligraphy wrote the Chinese characters for "Falun Dafa Is Great" and "The World Needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" for visitors. -

Germany: The Chinese Embassy Refuses Falun Gong Practitioner’s Passport Renewal
2008-12-01Falun Gong practitioner Yuan Mei Xian has lived in Hamburg for fifteen years. On the 8th of September, 2008, her Chinese passport was due for renewal. When she applied, the Chinese Embassy notified her saying that her old passport could not be extended and that if she wanted to apply for a new passport she would have to go to the Ministry of Public Security in China.
