  • Russia: Falun Gong Practitioners Invited to the 20th Child Expo in Moscow

    The 20th Russian Child Expo was held at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre from November 1st until the 5th. With over 120 organisations participating, the Expo attracted a lot of visitors and concluded with great success. Russian Falun Gong practitioners were also invited to participate in the event.
  • Sweden: The European Union Conference on Human Rights Urges China to Improve Human Rights

    This year is the sixtieth anniversary of the birth of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, however according to a Reporters without Borders report, Eutelsat closed down New Tang Dynasty TV (NTDTV)’s broadcast to mainland China in June this year, using 'technical problems' as the excuse.
  • France: Eutelsat Conference Raises Questions from Angry Shareholders

    On the afternoon of November 6th, a Eutelsat shareholder conference was held in Neuilly France. As it was the last conference of 2008, near 200 shareholders from all over the world attended. At the same time, nearly a hundred supporters of the New Tang Dynasty TV (NTDTV) protested outside the conference venue, requesting the satellite company to resume the channel’s broadcast to Asia.
  • Switzerland: Story about a New Falun Gong Practitioner

    The morning of October 21st was sunny and bright. We rode in a Falun Gong practitioner’s car all the way from Switzerland to Strasbourg to participate in a two-day petition in front of the European Parliament. About 50 practitioners from various countries in central Europe took part in the activity.
  • Sweden: Falun Gong Practitioners Invited to the Stockholm Harmony Health Expo

    In response to an invitation from the host, Falun Gong practitioners attended the “Harmony Health Expo” in Stockholm. Practitioners raised awareness about the Chinese Communist Party's brutal nine year persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. This year, practitioners also promoted the Divine Performing Arts Spectacular.
  • Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Protest at the Chinese Consulate in Munich

    Falun Gong practitioners organised activities at the Chinese Consulate in Munich to expose the Chinese Communist Party’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong. Practitioners displayed banners, demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and distributed leaflets.
  • Sweden: Tourists Join a Falun Gong Rally in Stockholm

    On August 16th, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners from Sweden joined a rally at Mynttorg Square in Stockholm. The rally was in support of 41 million Chinese people who have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and practitioners also exposed cases of forced organ harvesting.
  • Ireland: Raising Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Gong in China During a Cultural Festival

    On the 23rd and 24th of August, 2008, the Irish Dun Laoghaire global cultural art festival opened on the seashore, to the south of the capital Dublin. This year, eight hundred artists and thousands of performers from around the world participated. Performances spread over one hundred and fifty sites in the town. Falun Gong practitioners were invited to join the festival, making this the fourth time they had attended.
  • Norway: Raising Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Gong Despite Wind and Snow

    From September 26th, with the exception of Sunday, two Norwegian Falun Gong practitioners went to the Chinese Embassy in Oslo every day, where they performed the Falun Gong exercises and distributed leaflets to protest against China's brutal persecution of Falun Gong. Some people come to look at the panels and some collect Falun Gong material, the car drivers deliberately slow down and some give the thumbs sign up out of the window to express their understanding and support and some specially come to send greetings.
  • Sweden: Activity in Stockholm to Raise Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Dafa

    Falun Gong practitioners returned to Mynttorg in Stockholm to raise awareness about the CCP's savage persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and to show support for the 44.4 million withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party. Many people signed their names on a petition, condemning the CCP's persecution.
  • Austria: Raising Awareness about the Chinese Communist Regime’s Persecution of Falun Gong in China at the Salzburg Festival

    On August 30th, Falun Gong practitioners held information day activities in Salzburg Castle to expose the Chinese Communist regime’s atrocities of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Many tourists lined up to sign the petition against the persecution to show their support for Falun Gong practitioners.
  • Slovakia: Petition against Persecution of Falun Gong in China

    A series of petition rallies to raise awareness about human rights abuses in China took place in eastern Slovakia at the end of October 2008. Practitioners of Falun Gong visited cities of Presov, Kosice, Spisska Nova Ves and Michalovce, in order for the people there to learn about the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
  • Belgium: Raising Awareness about Falun Gong and the Persecution

    The Falun Gong booth was filled with information. Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and showed festival-goers how to fold paper lotus flowers. Others distributed information about the persecution, or promoted the Divine Performing Arts show in Antwerp.
  • Germany: Activity in Munich to Raise Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Gong

    On the afternoon of October 25th, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners were preparing for an event to raise awareness of how the evil Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes Falun Gong. Practitioners also expressed support for the 44 million Chinese people who have withdrawn from the CCP and its associated organisations.
  • Germany: Falun Dafa 'Information Day' Held in Mannheim

    On September 6th, Falun Gong practitioners held an 'information day' event in Mannheim, a southern German city, to introduce Falun Gong and raise awareness about the persecution in China. After learning about the persecution, a large number of local people signed the practitioners’ petition and expressed their support for Falun Gong.
