  • France: Promoting Falun Gong and Exposing the Persecution at Lons-le-Saunier

    In the morning, practitioners from the east of France set up their stall. The weather that day was unbearably hot. Despite that, many people still approached practitioners to find out about Falun Gong and the persecution in China, and to sign the petition calling for an end to the human rights abuses.
  • Italy: The Murderers of Gao Rongrong Must be Brought to Justice

    After hearing that Gao Rongrong has been cruelly killed by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials, Falun Gong practitioners in Italy went to the Chinese Consulate to peacefully appeal and demand that the murderers be brought to justice. Many passers-by expressed their indignation at the sinister behaviour and terrible human rights abuses of the CCP.
  • Finland: “Thank you for letting us know this.”

    Practitioners from Finland, Sweden, Germany and Russia joined together on a tour of five Finnish cities to hold anti-torture exhibitions and other activities to raise awareness of the persecution against Falun Gong in China. The tour lasted ten days. Practitioners simulated some of the torture methods that the Chinese Communist Party employs against people who practise Falun Gong.
  • Belgium: "Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance" International Art Exhibition Successfully Held in the European Parliament

    On the 28th of June, the “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance” International Art Exhibition opened in European Parliament. The exhibition was warmly supported by MEP Mr Pannella. Many European Parliament officials and staff members came to congratulate the organisers of the exhibition, and thanked us for bringing these excellent art works to the Parliament.
  • Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in the Frankfurt Multi-cultural Parade

    On June the 25th, several thousand Frankfurt people watched the Frankfurt parade under the blazing sunlight. German Falun Gong practitioners wore traditional Chinese costumes and participated in the parade. On the route of the parade, they came across several tourist groups from China who wanted to pose for pictures with the practitioners and take some Falun Gong leaflets.
  • United Kingdom: Before the G8 Summit, Falun Gong Practitioners Peacefully Protest at the Chinese Consulate in Edinburgh

    Before the G8 Summit, more than twenty Falun Gong practitioners held a peaceful appeal outside the Chinese Consulate in Edinburgh on 4th July. The practitioners were protesting against the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) brutal persecution of their fellow practitioners in China, especially the murder of Gao Rongrong.
  • Ukraine: Anti-torture Activities on UN International Day in Support of Victims of Torture

    On the 26th of June 2005, UN International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, Falun Gong practitioners from Staro Konstantinoy state, Northern Donetsk state and Kramatorsk city went to the famous Novy Svet Mountain to hold activities exposing the horrific forms of torture used by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) on Falun Gong practitioners in China.
  • Germany: Appealing during the German-Chinese Rule-of-Law Dialogue

    On June 21st and 22nd, the annual German-Chinese Rule-of-Law Dialogue was held at Hamburg’s Chamber of Commerce facilities. High-level German and Chinese governmental officials arrived for this meeting. The Ministers for Justice of both countries were also in attendance. Falun Gong practitioners appealed outside the entrance to the Chamber of Commerce.
  • Finland: Anti-Torture Exhibition Exposes the Truth about China’s State Terrorism (Part 2 — Jyväskylä)

    Practitioners held an anti-torture exhibit in Jyväskylä on the 18th and 19th of June 2005. The exhibition exposed the brutal human rights abuses that Falun Gong practitioners have been the victim of for almost six year. The peaceful Falun Gong exercises were also demonstrated to the public. Throughout the day, many people come forward to say, “You are doing the right thing”.
  • Russia: Falun Gong Practitioners hold Activities on UN International Day in Support of Victims of Torture

    On the 26th of June 2005, Falun Gong practitioners held an activity in Pjatigorsk city centre. Banners and leaflets exposed the Chinese Communist Party’s persecution against Falun Gong over the last six years. In four hours, 1,300 leaflets were distributed. People were sympathetic after hearing about the persecution suffered by Falun Gong practitioners.
  • Russia: Anti-torture Exhibition Touches Moscow People

    On June the 26th, World Anti-Torture Day, Moscow Falun Gong practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition on the square in front of the Moscow Art Gallery. They used display boards and simulated some of the countless forms of torture used by the Chinese authorities in cruel attempts to force Falun Gong practitioners to renounce their beliefs.
  • Germany: Chinese Consulate General Visits Frankfurt

    On 23rd June, the Chinese Consulate General to Germany visited Frankfurt. This is the biggest Consulate General in Europe. Opposite the consulate, people from human rights organisations and Falun Gong practitioners held a protest activity to remind the CCP and the German officials who were attending the opening ceremony to pay attention to the many human rights abuses in China.
  • France: Promoting Falun Gong and Raising Awareness about the Persecution in Northern Paris

    On the 25th of June 2005, French practitioners held an activity to promote Falun Gong on Place Gabriel Peri near the Gare Saint-Lazare rail station. This was the seventh step of a tour of Paris, intended to let more people know about Falun Gong and raise their awareness of the human rights abuses against practitioners in China.
  • Germany: Anti-Torture Exhibition at Cologne Cathedral

    Practitioners from Nordrhein-Westfalen in Germany held an anti-torture exhibition in front of Cologne Cathedral to expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) brutal persecution against Falun Gong. An anti-torture exhibition involves re-enactments of the torture methods used in attempts to force Falun Gong practitioners in China to renounce their beliefs.
  • Belgium: Protesting at the Chinese Embassy for those who Murdered Gao Rongrong to be brought to Justice

    On the 26th of June 2005, Belgian practitioners held activities outside the Chinese Embassy to protest against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for the killing of Falun Gong practitioner Gao Rongrong. Practitioners held banners reading “Bring the Murderers of Gao Rongrong to Justice” and “CCP: Stop Persecuting Falun Gong Immediately”.
