The city of Oxford held the new Mayor Inauguration Grand Parade. The participants were primarily from local charity groups and local organisations, including Falun Gong practitioners. Cheerful waist drumming, elegant silk fan dancing, eye-catching banners and the spirit of Falun Gong practitioners gave a positive impression to the public. -

Many people came to look at the pictures and the practitioners talked with them about Falun Gong practice and the persecution that is happening in China. Local media interviewed the practitioners for their reports on the exhibition, including a news programme that has about three million viewers. -
Holland: Promoting Falun Dafa in Eschede on the Dutch-German Border

Dutch Falun Gong practitioners met in Eschede on the Dutch-German border to promote Falun Gong and raise awareness about the human rights abuses against their fellow practitioners in China. Demonstrations of the relaxed Falun Gong exercises accompanied by the beautiful exercise music attracted many people to stop and watch. -
Bulgaria: Presenting Zhuan Falun at the Biggest National Book Fair in Sofia

Practitioners presented the book Zhuan Falun to the public at the biggest book forum in Bulgaria – Book Fair 2005. The main text of Falun Gong was published for the first time in Bulgarian language on the 13th of May, World Falun Dafa Day. During the presentation, the practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. -

After hearing the truth of the persecution and the purpose of our activity, the police said, "The crime of genocide should never happen in the 21st Century. You can continue your activity, although you should normally apply for a permit in advance to hold such an activity. Your situation is really special.” After finding out more about the persecution, they also signed their names on the petition. -
Norway: Paper Lotus Flowers Brought the Beauty of Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance to Norway’s National Day

In contrast to many other nations, Norwegians celebrate National Day with a children’s parade instead of a military parade. Many children received the lotus flowers with surprised and happy expressions; some asked to get one extra to give to their sister, brother or friend. Many people, old and young, asked for and received a lotus flower. -
Germany: Anti-torture Exhibition and Information Day in Darmstadt

The exhibition included paintings from Falun Gong practitioners, many of whom have suffered persecution first-hand. People were drawn to the caged practitioner, re-enacting a torture scene that is used in cruel attempts to force practitioners in China to renounce their beliefs. They stopped to learn more about Falun Gong and the human rights abuses perpetrated by the Chinese Communist Party. -

From May the 20th to the 23rd 2005, the third Ukraine Falun Gong cultivation experience sharing conference was successfully held in Ukraine’s capital city, Kiev. The conference was attended by Falun Gong practitioners from Ukraine, Russia, Byelorussia, Latvia, Israel, Germany and Sweden. -

Spain: Promoting Falun Gong to the Participants of the International Nature Therapy Conference

An International Nature Therapy Conference was held at the parliament mansion in Madrid. Nearly one thousand academics and supporters attended this conference. After being given permission by the conference organiser, Madrid practitioners promoted Falun Gong in the square outside the conference, demonstrating the exercises and distributing leaflets. -
Germany: Attracting Public Attention with our Anti-torture Exhibition

It was a sunny Saturday spring morning when I arrived at the downtown Kassel Falun Gong information stall. Practitioners had chosen a great location, right in a busy pedestrian zone. The site was visible from many directions. The trams passed our information stall, which allowed many people to see our posters and the colourfully decorated display. -

Sweden: Truth, Compassion, Tolerance International Art Exhibition Premiers at a Health Fair in Jönköping

All the visitors had the chance to see the exhibition since it was the only way in and out of the large exhibition hall. Many told us that they liked the paintings. One visitor stopped for almost an hour at the exhibition and talked with practitioners about Falun Gong and the persecution. Finally he said, “I don’t need to go into the fair, this is all I need.” -
