Denmark: Falun Gong is Introduced in a New Book of Theology
2004-04-15Recently, the theology department of Aarhus University Denmark supervised the publication of a new book, which details the background to Falun Gong. The publishing launch was held on the 26th March 2004 at the theology department of Aarhus University. The mayor of Aarhus attended the launch and gave a congratulatory speech. -
United Kingdom: Activities during the Edinburgh Easter Festival Celebrations
2004-04-14On Sunday the 11th of April, Scotland’s capital city of Edinburgh held a day of Easter celebrations. To accompany and complement the parade there were also several smaller performances on two outdoor stages, as well as a variety of stalls. Falun Gong practitioners staged several performances as part of the festival. -
France: Falun Gong Practitioners Invited by a Nursing School in Southern France to Introduce the Practice
2004-04-14In March 2004, practitioners were invited to a nursing school to introduce the practice. They started by introducing Falun Gong’s guiding principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance to the class, and went on to talk about the five sets of exercises. Practitioners also informed the class about the illegal and brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China. -
Practitioners Send Their Greetings and Thanks to Master Li, Exactly Nine Years after He Taught Falun Gong in Sweden
2004-04-13On the 11th of April 2004, people gathered as usual to practise the Falun Gong exercises at Bagaregårdens Hill in Gothenburg. However, this Sunday was special because it marked nine years since Falun Gong's founder, Master Li Hongzhi, personally held a seven-day seminar at Nordengården in Gothenburg to teach Falun Gong to over two hundred attendees. -

Female Falun Gong Practitioner Testifies to the UNHRC about Violence Conducted Against Women
2004-04-13Ms. Yoko Kaneko, a Japanese Falun Gong practitioner who was imprisoned in a Chinese forced labour camp for one and half a years, gave an account at a forum of the United Nations’ Human Rights Commission (UNHRC) of the brutal torture and brainwashing that she has experienced. She called for an immediate end to the persecution of Falun Gong. -
United Kingdom: First Performance of the UK “Coming For You” Choir at the Edinburgh Easter Festival
2004-04-13During the Edinburgh Easter Festival celebrations on Sunday the 11th of April 2004, the UK “Coming for You" Choir gave its first official public performance. The choir consists of almost 30 Falun Gong practitioners from across the UK, both Western and Chinese. They sang the song from which the choir gets its name: “Coming For You”. -
Finland: Falun Gong received Widespread Support at the Fashion and Wellbeing Event in the City of Mikkeli
2004-04-13The Fashion and Wellbeing Summer 2004 event was held in the city of Mikkeli at Mikkeli concert hall on April the 4th 2004. Falun Gong practitioners from central Finland participated in the event by introducing the facts of the persecution, demonstrating the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and giving people a chance to learn them. -
Sweden: Spreading Falun Gong and Explaining the Facts in the City of Lund
2004-04-11On April the 3rd, practitioners in Lund gathered at Martens square to inform the public about the four year long brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China. A common response from the public was that the already knew about the persecution and thought it was utterly wrong to persecute people who believe in Truthfulness-Compasison-Forbearance. -

Falun Dafa Practitioners Visit over 40 Permanent Missions and Embassies During UN Human Rights Commission Meeting in Geneva
2004-04-10Between March the 14th and the 19th 2004, Falun Dafa practitioners visited the permanent missions and embassies of over 40 countries that comprise the U.N. Human Rights Commission in Geneva. Among the visitors were practitioners that have been persecuted in China for upholding their belief in Falun Dafa. The practitioners clarified the facts and exposed the vicious crimes of Jiang and his followers. -
Spain: Spreading Fa and Letting People Know the Truth of Falun Gong at Guadalajara
2004-04-10On April the 4th 2004, Spanish Falun Gong practitioners went to Guadalajara to introduce Falun Gong to local people and let them know the truth about the Jiang regime’s brutal persecution of those who practise Falun Gong in China. This city is very close to Spain’s capital Madrid. -

Speeches Delivered by Falun Gong Practitioners at the UN Forum on Human Rights in China
2004-04-09On the afternoon of April the 2nd, the American delegation attending the meeting of the U.N. Commission on Human Rights organised a seminar regarding the resolution condemning China’s human rights abuses. Those attending included representatives of the United Nation’s member states, human rights organisations, Falun Gong practitioners and members of Family Church etc. The auditorium did not have a vacant seat. -
Germany: Students in Albert-Einstein Middle School in Bochum Learn Falun Gong
2004-04-09On March the 19th 2004, Falun Gong practitioners from Bochum in Germany were invited to Albert-Einstein Middle School to teach the students the Falun Gong exercises. The students could not imagine how a peaceful and wonderful practice such as Falun Gong could be banned in China and they asked many questions. They all enjoyed practising the exercises.
